Hey there! I had my baby on Tuesday. He was totally wrapped up in his cord because he was breech until 37 weeks and then he decided he was going to turn around. They got him out safe and sound and he is adorable! Thanks for all the advice. C/S actually not that bad. How are you? I posted some pics on my VIP page.

well, I went for my u/s and the doctor said that there are no structural abnormalities with the baby. I found that a little reasurring although they can't detect every possible problem with an u/s. I am so uncomfortable!!! Besides having so much fluid the baby is huge. She's in the 99th percentile. Are you so uncomfortable? Everything hurts. I can't believe I have so much longer to go. The doctor did say that they could do an amniotic reduction which would be like having an amnio but they take out some of the fluid. It could cause labor so they don't want to do it right away.

thanks for u reply..bit weird isnt it..i read up on it a bit and it looks preety important.something i might like to be checked for as it can affect babys health.....given the option of amnio to check for downs and strep b id go for strep b.......i cant change if it has downs but so long as u know about strep b they can give u antibiotics.....maybe we get them but they just dont say......im going to ask my midwire they might call it something else here......its wierd how different each country is.i havent had one internal and wont have till 39 weeks everyone in 36 weeks has had 1 or more internals and know if they are dialated how fustrating....i want to know lol..

Well I'm not really sure about the dates because I didn't have a period in Feburary and March was abnormal but they are going of off the March period. I have an Ultrasound on the 9th so hopefully I will find something out.

Hi I read about how you have too much amniotic fluid. I do too. The doctor didn't seem too worried but when I went on line to read about it the answers really worried me. I called the nurse at the doctor's office in tears and she said that only in a very small number of cases does too much amniotic fluid mean that there's something wrong with the baby. I guess what it could mean is that the baby isn't able to swallow the fluid or is producing too much fluid. Other times there's really no reason for it. I go for a level 2 u/s Tues. to check the exact level of fluid so I guess we'll see.

WOW!I am only measuring 7 ontheAFI.My measurement was only a 4 a couple of weeks ago. I have the oppisite of you.Don't worry too much.Worse comes to worse,a preemie of 30 weeks has an exellent chance of survival!Two of my children were 31 weeks and my daughter was 28 weeks!They are 11,13 and 16 and perfect as can be! My daughter even taught herself to read at 4 years old!I'm just trying to make it to 28 weeks w/this one!

High amniotic fluid is unexplained in about 65% of all cases.Ask your docter and see if you need to see a specialist.Sometimes they will induce labor early.How high were your levels,AFI levels?

Hi hun Yea im totally the wrong side of 30 now eh! But apparently women get sexier and mature like fine wines...but I think thats my mates tryin to make me feel better heheh! I was supposed to be going to dinner with friends but I dont have the energy girl...and I cant wear heels etc... :( So I think I am going to take it easy. How did they try to rule out the wee/swollow thing?! Via scan...I know what you mean about being concerned, I am too and am trying not to think about it until I have the scan and more facts. Its important that we dont stress for these things..and remember that medical intervention these days is a marvellous tool..and that they wont let anything happen to us...we will be okay xx How are u apart from that?! Keeping well I hope! Nursery is complete!! However now I want stuff moved around LOL so will ask my neighbour tonight to do it for me. IM sooo desperate for my mum to get here so I can take it a little easy and get a bit of looking after! x

Hey, I hope you're doing great. I just wanted to let you know that I went today to my doctor's visit and they did change my due date. I've been measuring bigger lately, so they did an ultrasound today and my baby is measuring 30w2d instead of 29w3d, so they moved me up to being due Dec 4, instead of the 10th. She's already 3lbs4ozs. I guess me measuring bigger was an indication that I was further along, since her sizes match what I'm measuring now. I'm measuring 30weeks, and they're saying she's measuring 30weeks, but they wouldn't have known that without doing the ultrasound.

hi thanks for the mgs yeah i am from Co.Derry in a samll quite little town... God less than 11 weeks for u til go it feel as if i have been pregnant for ages and only found out at 10 weeks so really have only known 9.. Another 20 weeks for me still hope it flies in having it really rough still sick and tired still thinking to my self neword of me ever blooming??? But they say it does fly in and u r hugh as a house and uncomfortable so enjoy this stage lol i just want a bump and not to look like i have ate too many pies....

I still can manage the legs. I wonder how much longer I will be able to do it. I guess I will have to tell him to go a head and do it. I mean if he wants me well groom. lol Hey have you notice the hair on your legs and under arms grows slower ever since you've been pregnant? Mine do which is nice I only have to shave like once a week. lol
