Hi, thankyou for your kind words. I know i shouldn't stress over it but its hard not to. I just can't physically hand my daughter over to a man i know will abuse her, no matter what a court orders. Its not a case of being a bitter ex, just that i lived with him and he even started being abusive towards her when she was a newborn. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Its so lovely hearing so many possitive comments from this web site its helped and thank u for ur words too. I have so many wonderful friends and a great man and he only has bitterness for being cruel for many years and then having to deal with loosing his family. Not my problem. Oh well i told him and i'm disgusting and hes going to try to take my kids away from such a disgusting mother. My kids witnessed him saying them things and they just came straight home with me and r really upset with their dad. Its so unfair that life is hard. He made my life hell for the last 7 years of our marriage and now 4 years later hes still trying to control me. My new partner is so lovely that i sometimes feel that me with my past doesnt deserve such a wonderful man. Thanks for listening XX

Hi Pixiered, Ur right i should just come clean. My kids r 10 and 12 nearly 11 and 13. They probably wouldnt slip up but i cant help feeling bad that i have asked them to keep a sectret from their dad for now. I did say it was bad luck before 12 weeks. But its playing on my mind. Hi there. If your doctor is aware that you're a smoker and he's not all over you to quit,don't worry too much. I have to deal with so many people asking me if I've quit yet,the more people bug me about it the more I seem to smoke. Just try to cut back as much as you can, any less and your doing better already. Best wishes, stay strong.

Hey and congrats on your baby girl. I can't remember a thing about what it was like having my son, since it's been so long ago. People look at him and them me pregnant and do a double take. How is yours taking it? Mine is very happy and very helpful now.

Please don't cry or feel guilty for smoking. My maternity hospital says they would like me on patches but my own family doctor says that the patches aren't licenced for pregnancy so I was in a no win situation!! They day after I found out I was pregnant I saw my smoking counsellor and she said that going cold turkey can cause your body a lot of stress and this can lead to miscarriage - so if anyone critisised me I just told them this and continued to slowly wean myself. Good Luck and keep in touch. xx
