Good to know, thanks! I was surpised my dr. said that, because i though it was a wives tale. apparently it happens enough that there's some truth to it sometimes. (it would be right 50 percent of the time, anyway!)

and to think we still have almost 4 mos to go!!! I've been seeing a chiropractor for my neck but she's also done a couple of thinks to my pelvis and lower back that has really helped. I never thought I would see a Chiro but was desparate and am happy I have! i think the energy thing is a crock or for women who REALLY suffered in the 1st trimester iwth the fatique because i feel no different engergy wise but with the extra 20lbs find my feet and legs get sooo tired! but we get to have BABIES!!!! and GIRLS it's soooo worth it!!!

yippee!! that would be hilarious if I did have her on my due date! At least you know your due date is 99% accurate! I keep thinking I'll have mine on the 26th and hubby thinks it will be September 2nd... over due? AHHH no thanks! How have you been feeling? how is your energy? i don't know what they talk about when they talk about this well being and energy - I go for an hour walk and I'm pooped! I used to hike 10-15 miles in a day adn would feel like that after maybe 6 hours!

wow brain surgery that's scary! i'm glad you are fine and could see how that could be affected by pushing. I know a girl who has an anurism(sp) and did same - didn't want to chance the pushing to cause it to burst.

You may or may not have seen my post but it's a girl hee hee!

lol, MIL's suck. Mine has told me she didn't believe I really loved her son, and that she would basically try to help the ex be back together with him, even though she didn't think they were right for each other! She is psycho. I am right there with you, MIL is the reason her son never comes around or calls her - so she has cut herself off from my husband, me and our soon to be new baby! She can play 'family' with the ex and her kid (who is NOT my husbands, by the way). Maybe your MIL and mine are related!

Wow! I hopped on the scale and put on 2 more. I'm at 19 lbs! LOL! How come you are having a c section? You get another u/s? wow - is that common in the US?

LOL! I'll be happy with what I have. I do want my girl first but a boy doesn't seem so bad since he can hang with his cousin LOL! Edmonton's cost of living is lower than let's say BC so the wages would be lower. If he came to Vancouver he would do well. Where guys are making the huge bucks are on side jobs. There are so many people who need little jobs done - drywall in the basement or tiling and they can't find anyone to do it. So cool that he found work locally! hopefully another job comes up after that one!!! Stretch marks... so far I haven't gotten any (i have old ones from when I pudged out at 19) new ones! I hope if i do they are under control, but I figure I'm doing what I can to prevent them... if they come... they come!

My sis is good - didn't even need a stitch! Even though she would disagree she's always kinda been the golden child (not that my life is hard by any stretch). they got pregnant first time they tried both times... no miscarriages. She put on 27 lbs (on her 120lb hot bod) no stretchmarks... no stitches... she figures her life is easy cause she couldn't handle it being worse LOL!

That is so cool that hubby got some work! i was thinking about you guys yesterday wondering if things were picking up.

Re ultrasound I KNOW I just can't wait to find out! Now i'm thinking a boy would be nice because my sis had a boy... so that means i'm having a girl LOL!

yep! a big old 9lb 3 oz boy!!!! he's so cute!!!! Less than a week till my ultrasound! yippee!!!! I can't wait! Feeling great and getting big - feeling the baby like crazy finally!! How about you?
