We found out at our first appointment in October at our first u/s that we were having twins! We were surprised enough when the home test came back positive, when the sonographer said there's two we were in shock! We've been married 6 years and we were planning to have kids soon, but weren't actually trying yet! My brother has b/g twins, and we think there may be some a little ways back on my husband's side.

At our u/s on 12/27 we found out we're having 2 girls! My husband was so worried about the thought of raising girls, but he's really excited now! The good thing about 2 girls is that we had girls names we like - Amelia and Nadia! We'd been having trouble picking two boys names! We can't wait to get the nursery set up.

At our last scan at 23 weeks they both weighed 1 lb 6 oz (the slightly smaller one caught up)! We got a great 3d profile of the one and we already think she looks like her daddy! The other one keeps hiding, so we couldn't see her as well! She did that at the last u/s too!
