OK...Miss Kenadie is snoozin so I have time to type this all out hehe...

My water broke at 5:12am I had a few contractions before it broke but I thought it was really bad gas because I had been constipated for 2 days prior and then that morning at 1:30 am I had the most awesome bowl movement EVER! lol...

So anyway water brakes I get Mom and Dad up and we head for the hospital. I got there about 6:30am. They check to make sure I had really ruptured which there couldn't have been any mistaken it cuz it was like a title wave coming out hehe.

I was 3 cm dilated at that time...they get me to my room and get me all hooked up all the while I am having these horrible contractions that feel like she is coming out of my butt...I thought I was gonna die!! They asked if I wanted the EPI and I told em' no not yet cuz I really wanted to make sure that I was in bad bad pain before I got it. I wanted to experience a little of it. So, at 9:30am I was finally ready for the EPI which was HEAVEN ON EARTH! I don't see how or why people would do this without medication!

My DR finally got to the hospital at about 3pm and checked me and I was at 6cm. He starts pitocin. He tells me that this is gonna be a HUGE BABY!

I took a nap for a little while and just relaxed cuz I knew I would need all the energy I could get. At 6pm DR comes back and checks me again and I haven't progressed at all...he starts talking c-section I FLIPPED OUT! I was crying hysterically and they had to put me on oxygen cuz I was hyperventilating. He tells me he will give me another hour and ups the pitocin so high that I started to feel the contractions again in my back.

He comes back in and checks me and I am finally fully dilated and ready to push. Well, I start pushing and my legs were so numb that I couldn't feel ANYTHING to be able to push so I thought they just turned down my EPI oh no they TURNED IT OFF!!!!! I pushed and pushed and pushed I was in so much pain I was screaming my damn head off like a crazy woman begging God to help me. Now remember I am thinking this kid is gonna be huge and get stuck. That's all that is running through my mind is there is no way I am gonna get this kid out.

I pushed for 3 hours without an EPI and felt everything!!! Finally, I was yelling at the DR to please please please just give me the c-section. I started to vomit really bad and well....girls I hate to say it but puking made her come down!!

My Mom and sister were standing at my sides and were joking back and forth and I was getting pissed (not to worry they weren't being mean they just knew they had to piss me off to get me to push harder) and I finally pushed her little butt out at 10:53 pm after 18 hours! I tore so bad and had to have 12 stitches that I felt every stitch of! But my lil Kenadie was only 7 pounds and 2 ounces and 20 inches long.

She is such a good baby!!! She only cries when she is hungry and that's it! She sleeps for like 6 hours at a time only with me waking her in the middle to eat and get changed. She is soooooo good I cant get over it! She looks a lot like my sisters girls and of course her Mommy hehe. She even has my dimple in her lil cheek on the opposite side. Mine is on my left cheek hers is on her right.

Well ladies thanks so much for being there for me when I needed to vent. I dont know what I would have done without ya! Me and Kenadie are so grateful to you all. And wish everyone of you a happy healthy and safe delivery...and it's true what they say...all the pain and frustrations are sooooo worth these beautiful babies...

I think my post partum hormones have kicked in today. I have cried all morning for nothing!! I don `t feel overwhelmed or anything because Kenadie is such a good baby. I just guess it `s all still freaking me out that I am actually a Mom and responsible for someone other then myself. And maybe the lack of sleep hehe...she sleeps really well I have to actually wake her up to eat and get changed. I just cant sleep myself for fear I wont hear her or she will stop breathing and me not know it. All the things that could go wrong....I thought my anxiety about something happening to her would go away after she was here. But I think it `s only gotten worse....

I feel so much better today. I think I was just exhausted yesterday. I got some much needed sleep lastnight. Miss Kenadie slept 6 hours straight! Woo hoo...she is such a good baby. I am so blessed...I finally weighed myself since having the baby and all I can say is WOW! I have lost 22 pounds!! I only gained 12 pounds throughout the pregnancy...isnt it amazing!! I am still VERY swollen my legs and feet are really bad so I can just imagine how much more weight I am retaining through all the fluids in my body. I cant wait to see what my weight will be in a few weeks. I am so truley in love with my little girl and couldnt ask for anything more. God has given me the greatest gift and I will do everything in my power to make him proud of me and never regret giving me this lil girl!!

Well my chunker has gained 8oz already! She is now 7 pounds 6 ounces and the damn hospital measured her wrong she is only 19 inches long not the 20 they said she was. The DR said she is doing so well and that she is doing better then most 1 weekers! I cant believe she has been here a whole week!!! It's already going by so fast. She is now up to eating 3 and 4 ounces of formula every 3 to 4 hours. And pooping more then I can keep up with hehehe.

God, I love this little girl...it's so amazing and weird and wonderful! I never thought I would ever be a Mommy and now well...I cant imagin going through my life never having that experience. I cant wait to watch her grow and do all her monumental things.

I am so happy...

well let `s see uts been a few days since I have updated. I have lost a total of 34 pounds! I cant believe it I am so stoked! Kenadie is doing really well she is gaining weight like crazy she is now 7p 10oz. She is so amazing...she smiles and coo `s already. My mom had her layin on her back on the couch and she rolled over to her side ALREADY! She is just wonderful...she is still sleeping really well she gets up in the middle of the night at 1am 3am and 5am just long enough to feed get changed and back to sleep she goes. She does get up at 5am and stays awake for a little bit. But thats ok cuz it gives us time to bond just her and I without the interuptions of the other people in the house. I have finally gotten into a routine. I just wish my body would hurry the hell up and get back to normal. The stitches they put in are healing and I can feel it...it `s really tight down there and uncomfy! I hope the DR didnt mess up. I am afraid to look hehehaha! OH well...I have my 6week check up on March 7th so we will see what is what.

Oh yeah and her cord finally fell off and I got to give her, her first bath!

went to the Dr today for my depression issues and they gave me something to help me sleep. He said that could be alot of the reason I am so depressed is the lack of sleep. My mom and sister are gonna take turns watching the baby while I take my naps. My anxiety of sleeping while she is sleeping is gonna have to change. Dr said I cant go on much longer like that. He said new Moms usually have a hard time adjusting. So, I hope this Ambiem works!!! Other then that everything is going great Kenadie is growing like a weed she is now 19 1/2 inches long. We went to WIC this morning too and they finally gave me her formula for the month. I cant believe how expensive that stuff is!! Thank god for WIC I dont know what I would do without it!!!

Kenadie `s first time in her swing! She fell asleep of course lol. But she didnt like the sound of the motor that makes it swing. SO, she would rather just sit there without it moving haha...I went and picked up all her formula today all I can say is thank freaking god for WIC $120 bucks for 9 cans!!! Thats just crazy...I dont know how people do it without help...

I have created a MONSTER!

Kenadie now stays awake ALOT during the day and likes to be held most of that day. She still sleeps really well at night. I give her a bottle at like 10pm of cereal and she sleeps till about 6am. She has gotten so chunky!! I know it's the cereal that done it hehe but she just wasnt satisfied with just formula anymore. So, what baby wants baby gets!!! She can now really giggle and coo when I talk to her. And she knows when I am not in the room...she will look for me and fuss until I come back. Even if someone else is holding her. I know thats not good cuz when I have to go back to work whomever watches her is gonna have a hard time with her. But I also love it because I am her Momma and she loves me!!! We go back to the DR tomorrow I am excited to see how much weight she has gained she has gotten soooo big...she is out of newborn diapers FINALLY! And has grown out of some of her newborn clothes. 0-3 month clothes are still a lil big on her but they will have to due until she can really fill them out. I am still holding steady on my weight loss which I am estatic about. I hope I can keep it off and maybe even lose 20 more pounds!

Kenadie is 4 weeks old today she went to the DR and now weighs a WHOPPING 9 pounds 8 ounces!!! And is 21 inches long...I cant believe how much she has grown it's so amazing!

I finally got to sleep on my back lastnight. I had been so use to sleeping on my side with a pillow between my knees. It was soooo nice to sleep normal again...UNTILL Miss Kenadie decided to wake up for a bottle and a butt change hehe.

I went and bought her a new Sit & Play and new mobile. Her other mobile just didnt keep her attenchion. So, I got her somethin that plays different songs and has a REMOTE!!! Woot Woot I dont have to get up every 10 minutes to wind the thing anymore! YEAH BABY!

Well Kenadie is now 3 months exactly today! I know it's been awhile since I updated but I have been soooo busy with Mommy life...

Kenadie has done alot since my last update she now can laugh out loud, she is cutting 2 teeth, she weighs 16 pounds!!! She is such a wonderful blessing. She makes everyday worth waking up for. We are now on a schedule and follow it everyday and it has been GREAT! Although she did get thrush really bad about 2 weeks ago and we are still dealing with that. But it's a life lesson learned!!! She got it from me sterilizing in the dish washer with our other dishes so be CAREFUL or so thats what the ER DR said...
