Glad to be pregnant again. I am 34 and live in Destin, Florida. I have one son who will be 14 in July.

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby since last year. I have had two m/c one of them at 12.5 weeks and one at 7 weeks. Both of them quit growing weeks prior to the that. I had my second ultrasound 5/9/08 where a strong, healthy 130 bpm heartbeat was detected. Just holding my breath to get through the next several weeks and out of the first tri-mester. My clothes got tight at 5 weeks so I am wrestling with the idea of buying a few maternity jeans and shorts.

8/4/08 - Pregnancy is going very well. Baby is developing appropriately and the quad screens came out normal. Looks like our little girl should be healthy little one.

Wow! That's good. At least you know all his limbs are intact..lol.. how sweet. I felt mine moving this morning while laying in bed. I feel little faint kicks but nothing really strong just yet. The hb is strong though.

lol.. i bet so. My boys are good too. I keep hoping that this one turns out the same too. My oldest doesn't crack a book and makes good grades. Neither one of them get into any trouble (probably because they know I will tear them butts up) I'm pretty firm with them. Love them but I don't cut too much slack when I make a decision. I'm a single mom so I have to have a firm hand on them. Their dad backs me up 100% so they know better.. lol..

Hey, I'm from Pineville, Louisiana and I'll be 40 in October. HB to your son!! My 13 yr old turns 14 on September 9th. If I would have had him first, I would have stopped with him.. lol.. he is enough to make a dead person commit suicide... hahaha! This may be a stupid question but do you imagine it would be more difficult to make out the heartbeat with twins? I'm trying to decide if it's worth it for me to get one. I'm also scared that if I have one, I'll become obsessive with it; like if I cant hear the heartbeats one time, I'll freak out. Thanks

pookiekke- Do you find it easy to find the heartbeat with the doppler? Which one do you have? I asked my doctor if I could come in every 2 weeks just so I can hear/see the heartbeats because I'm so paranoid. I have to get a good sensitive doppler for in between visits. Which do you recommend? Thanks
