Hello all mommies and mommies to be!My name is Georgia, I am 24 years old, and pregnant for the second time. Last year on Septmeber 25,2007 at 11:58am, we lost our first son at 23 weeks pregnant. I did deliver him, and he was and will always be a gorgeous angel in my eyes. Eric Orrin, my first son, was the hardest moment in my life to overcome. God tested my faith, but I know now, that Eric is waiting for me on the other side. I will see him again. I take peace in that alone. In January of 2008, we found out that prayers work. God and Eric sent us another chance to become parents again. This time I know in my heart that everything will be okay. I have an angel watching over me.Medically, everything is going good. My platelets that were once high, are now normal. I have three doctors monitoring me every month. Since I am "high risk"... I am being very careful and taking care of myself and my growing baby. Please keep us in your prayers, and God Bless you all!

My Husband, my heart, my rock, my bestfriend. Without him, I would only be half the woman I am.
My 1st baby shower cake!

Monday, 23 June I had pre eclampsia with my first son. It is not funny. Call your doctor and tell them your symptoms and have it checked out. They will help you and your baby do well. Dont ignore it. Its one of those things that can get serious fast. Feel better. bowling4 -
Monday, 23 June i have not had any symptoms of preclampsia, but I had 4 friends that had it this year. They all did fine. A couple gave birth a few weeks early, but other than that - they delivered beautiful healthy babies!!! As long as your doctor is aware of it, they will monitor you and make sure everything is fine. Just take it easy and do what they tell ya.
Good Luck!!!

Wednesday, 28 May I am a plus sized girl (254) and seems like my belly REALLY popped out around 30 weeks. I think most people probably thought I was still just fat...but NOW at 36 weeks, people are not as nervous about asking when I'm due.. lol. :) fudgeethewhale -
Tuesday, 20 May Thanks for your comment regarding Lidocaine. I'm not worried that the lidocaine will prevent me from delivering a healthy baby, but I have read that it might affect the child's learning abilities in later life. Seems to be a topic of debate. rditts -

Sunday, 18 May is there anyone who has baby movements that feel like pressure or like the baby is just pushing their bodies outwards as far as they can and it lasts for a few seconds... Melissa83 -
Friday, 16 May Oh a cerclage is the stitch that they place in your cervix to help prevent it from dialating prematuraly. I was just curiuos if they've ever mentioned it to you! :) jenn8808 -
Friday, 16 May I am responding to your post in plus forum. My belly was showing a little bit since 18 weeks, but really popped out at about 24-25 weeks. I am now 28 weeks, 5'7" and weigh 290. I am amazed at how fast it is growing now! Still waiting for my belly button to pop though :) Melissa83 -
Friday, 16 May Hi, I was just reading your information on the lose of your baby boy. I'm very sorry you had to go through that. Like you have lost a baby at 23 weeks and one before that at 21..due to an incompetent cervix. I'm on bedrest now with a cerclage, and am 22 weeks. I'm just curious if they had ever mentioned getting a cerclage to you since you did lose a baby in the 2nd trimester? jsshrt -
Tuesday, 13 May That will be exciting. I didn't have the patience to deal with the guessing game anymore. IT is funny how everyone you know becomes baby gender predicters as soon as they find out you are pregnant!!! We really should have placed bets. Well, I would have lost but it would have been fun anyway. You guys could do something like that. That is, if you are not against gambeling. It would be fun. I wish I would have thought of that sooner! leeleesmom -
Monday, 12 May lol I know how you feel trust me I feel the same way. And to top it off I am upset about gaining weight because I had just lost 35 pounds! I was on my way and then this surprise out of now where lol! Now I am gaining weight like crazy and I am so paranoid about how its gonna come off! I just wanna scream lol Do you know what your having yet? Anyways I will speak to you soon, Happy's Mother's Day! jsshrt -
Monday, 12 May Those are nice names too. When will you find out what you are having? leeleesmom -
Monday, 12 May omg I have been asking that question for so long I am plus size too and I am showing but my belly is bot round enough to me. It never really got that round with my daughter but I had my daughter at 33 weeks so maybe it could of? Anyways I have one photo up I have more and I will post them. I am before pregnancy a size 18,what about you. And by the way I wanna scratch my stomach off lol!!! honeybee621 -
Saturday, 10 May I am going through the same thoughts as you. I am a bigger girl myself, I wore a size 20 before I got pregnant. But I don't really see myself looking like I have a pregnant belly either. I mean, it's obvious underneath my "fat" that there's a baby belly, but I don't know when and if I will ever have that rounded out belly. I have had someone explain to me that I will just have a "B" belly instead of a "D" belly. I was told by a few that once you reach more than 30 weeks you should start rounding out though. I am only 22 right now, so I don't know if that's true. Good Luck on your pregnancy! 2ndtimearound@25 -
Saturday, 10 May I have always been a biggger girl, but I was smaller with my 1st child-now I am wondering if people know I am pregnant, or just think I am even fatter-lol. Sorry I cant give any adive on that-but I am wondering the same thing!!! jsshrt -
Friday, 9 May I have always liked the name Olivia. It seems to be real popular now. I was hoping for something more original but, we are stuck on Olivia now. My daughter just wouldn't understand why we changed her name if we did. What names are you leaning toward? rorita -
Friday, 9 May leaning back or forward? lol. I'll do anything...I refuse to get one again!
