Friday, 25 April i've bought my furniture. I got a lot of hand me down clothes and stuff too which i am so greatful for! My family is throwing me a baby shower. This is the first baby in the family in over 10 years now, so they are very excited, plus i am young and single, the father is not in the picture at all.. so they are pleased to help. mommi2b -
Friday, 25 April ugh, been so busy! Been working so much, cooking, laundry, blah blah blah! I really want to hurry up and get this storage so we can make room for all Maddy's stuff. That will take a lot of stress off me. But my hubby's been so busy working lately - and next week he's going to VA so I doubt we'll get it next week. Hopefully next weekend - we'll see. All I know is June is creeping up faster and faster and I wanna get everything clean and ready for lil Madison.
Anyways! Did you get most of your shopping done? MyLilAidan -
Friday, 25 April ooh yeah, a nice tall plant sounds soo cute, you will have to buy one of thoes monkeys with the velcrow hands and hand it from the plant! LOL. yeah, its pretty pricey here, my mom bought me a one of a kind blanket set for 169.00.. its so cute and the only one we could find anywhere, even online! Unfortunatly my nursery is on the small side, but big enough for a baby. mom2aboy -
Friday, 25 April That nursery is just precious! I love it! My opinion about where you were putting the crib... I liked it angled in the corner like it was in the first pic! I just think it's cuter! You do whatever your heart desires though because this is YOUR baby!! :) I'm just giving my little 2 cents! :) MyLilAidan -
Friday, 25 April
Awww.. thats the bedding i was going to get, but i just didnt have 300$ to buy it. I love the monkeys, you did such a wonderful job. It looks awsome! KariLynn -
Friday, 25 April Its weird how older homes don't have closet space. What did people do back then? They must not have had as much crap as we do now lol. I wish I could do some landscaping, it sounds like so much fun!! I am so ready for some nice weather!! I have been so exhausted lately. I get lots of sleep, but doesn't seem to matter. I had yesterday off and didn't anything done lol. I am so lazy lol. denee85 -
Friday, 25 April yeah,it's refreshing to have a guy with a real job!!
lol,not that a job delivering pizza is a BAD one,but only working 15 hours a week and then losing your job isn't too helpful!! lol..That's what my ex always did..He could never get a real good job and he'd always lose any job he'd get!!
No,Matt has a good job and works a lot of hours...And YES,we DO stay pretty busy with the kids!! denee85 -
Thursday, 24 April I apparently have a 'thing' for older guys..lol.This is actually Matts 3rd biological child..He has two daughters (13 and 11) from a previous marriage and he has custody of them..then he's also raising his 'son'(7) whom is not his by blood since his wife cheated and he also has custody of him too!..So we have plenty of children between the two of us! denee85 -
Thursday, 24 April People always say they're sorry about the divorce..I really am glad it happened..I mean,My situation with the man was just messed up..lol..I was 16 and he was 32 when we met-ahhh!!
I ended up 'running off ' with him,I got pregnant and my dumb butt decided to marry him!..Everyone tried to tell me not to be with him,but I was 18 and stupid...
He hasn't had anything to do with Caleb since he was about a year old-so almost 3 years..And he doesn't pay his child support,so thats a good indication that divorcing him was a smart thing!!
Oh,and Matt, the guy I'm with now,Has been Calebs "daddy" for over 2 years now!!
He buys whatever Caleb needs and I just love seeing Caleb so happy to have a 'daddy' :)...We're both VERY excited about having this baby and he's been great-He had all the baby stuff boughten months ago!! denee85 -
Thursday, 24 April I originally wanted my kids to be closer in age,but I divorced Calebs father when Caleb was 6 months old because he was a lazy jerk and wouldn't work and I was concerned about him being faithful...I wanted another baby and I wanted my kids to be about 2 years apart...But hunny and I took awhile to meet and decide to have a baby ;)
My sis-in-law had a baby back in Dec and she didn't tear at all..I would enjoy that!!! denee85 -
Thursday, 24 April I'm due 4 days before Calebs 4th birthday,so I'm actually hoping that baby (Jeremiah) comes a few days early!!
I went into labor for Caleb ON my due date, but he was born at 2:35 am the next day..lol,close though!!
I tore a little with Caleb, but it only took a few stitches and it wasn't too bad.
I actually had demerol with Caleb but I'd labored for 9 1/2 of my 10 hours total and I started pushing while she was finishing my IV!! AND the demerol just didn't help me,so I WILL NOT get it again..Plus I'm scared of the epidural,so natural is my only choice! padow -
Thursday, 24 April Yes, I know! It seems like time is just flying now! Can't believe it! That sounds fun...setting things up. I can be patient, though. We've been getting things for her from showers and so it is exciting to think about setting it all up. Trouble sleeping tonight but I'm gonna try. Hope you are feeling good! TTYS! KariLynn -
Wednesday, 23 April I think a jungle like plant would be so cute. Plus I would think it would be good for the air in the room. I get bummed when I have to order stuff. Just in case I don't get it when I need it by, as I used to work in the delivery business and know how that goes too well. Normally its ok though just a pain in the butt. Did you make another trip to the store yesterday? Other than the decorations did you get everything you need? It has to be nice to have everything ready or at least purchased and home. I need to decide what I am going to do for dresser space. I really don't have room for another dresser at the moment and already have so many clothes. I am putting off washing them until I find space for them, but am also running out of time lol. padow -
Wednesday, 23 April That is great...it all worked out! Now, hopefully you can get settled a bit before the baby comes! We are moving a month after she's here and I am excited to get her stuff set up after that. There's no point while we are here. Well, hope you are feeling good. Take care of yourself and before we know it, our angels will be here! :) KariLynn -
Tuesday, 22 April aww the monkeys will be cute. If we get to do a theme ever it will probalby be the packers. Not necessarily my first choice, but Dan has won some Green Bay stuff and may as well put it to use :) KariLynn -
Tuesday, 22 April Thats a good deal on the stroller. That store sounds so nice. I think its all in timing. My mom said she went there one day and there wasn't much, went there a few days later, and there was tons of stuff. I havent had to shop for the nursery yet, as we only have a 1 bedroom right now, and can't afford much more. There was no planning to my pregnancy whatsoever lol. I am glad that you found lots of stuff. Have you decided on what you are doing for the nursery theme? KariLynn -
Tuesday, 22 April Aw your son sounds so cute! He looks like a little cutie :) I love the little ones. I have been a babysitter and nanny for about 14 years off an on all different ages. I can say that I am ready for my own, and know the timing is right. Well for the most part lol. We too have a second hand store. Its called once upon a child. I haven't actually gone there yet, but my mom has. The store is good because everything has to be in good condition for them to sell or buy it, plus you get it for half of the price of the department stores. Especially as fast as they go through clothes and stuff I have no desire to buy all new clothes. Though and outfit or 2 would be alright :) Are you as nervous with this one as you were with your first? It has to be a little bit easier having a little idea of whats to come, even though it will have its differences. I just know time is going by so fast! cali.momma -
Tuesday, 22 April i guess ill stick with my gut. because my gut isnt saying shes going to come. ugh so i cant really "nest" because were moving, but i did some stuff til 4:30 this morning hah. i got about 3 hrs sleep. im so tired! mommi2b -
Tuesday, 22 April That's awesome you'll have so much fun tomorrow, actually today! :) It's fun to go to the store w/ my hubby too - but we have to keep it under a certain time limit. After about an hour he starts to hit his limit and starts getting cranky. Then usually have to feed him and he's good to go for another 1/2 hour. LOL But I like to take my time and shop, ya know? So I usually just go by myself - get a lot more done that way. :) cali.momma -
Tuesday, 22 April thats one thing that would seriously break my heart. ive had my carseat in my car for a little over a month to get it out of the way, and if it came home empty..oh man..i wish i knew how much she weighed now :[ cali.momma -
Tuesday, 22 April shes not coming out if i can help it lol. im not strong enough to have a preemie. i wouldnt be able to leave her in the hospital :[ cali.momma -
Tuesday, 22 April well they know about my contractions and such, and last monday i was dilated a fingertip. so im not sure if it would be my cervix dilating, or if its a joy of pregnancy. a little quick history to explain a lot, ive been in preterm labor 3 times, and they think im going to go at 34 weeks. but, my gut isnt telling me it will happen that early. so im not quite sure what to think about all this happening.
