Well, where to start. I'm not so great at talking about myself. I am 22 years old and I live in MO with my husband and our 3 year old son, Malachi. As far as this pregnancy goes, it's my fourth. The last two have ended in miscarriages. I have not been to the doctor yet but have an appointment for Monday and Tuesday. Hopefully they go well. I've been having horrible morning sickness with the pregnancy. Not to mention peeing 4 times an hour and being exhausted all the time. Guess it goes with the territory. Not that I mind, because it tells me that I'm still pregnant. I just pray and pray that this one is healthy and goes to term. All of my updates have been moved to the blog section so if you were wanting to check them out, that's where they are!

KariLynn - Tuesday, 22 April
If I lived closer to you I would at least get you a house warming gift lol :) I really have a hard time when people complain about their weight with pregnancy and things they get from people. Two things that really bother me. I have been soooo lucky and even though live so far from my family I have a ton of hand me down stuff, plus a lady who I really don't know what I would do with out. She is buying me all the big stuff I need, that I am not getting from family. Though I won't see a lot of the stuff until after I have the baby and my mom and dad bring it out to me. Its all expensive, and you need so much, especially since you don't know how your baby is going to react to everything you do get like bottles, diapers, etc. I am nervous and excited. It is my first, but my boyfriends second. Though he doesn't really have much of a relationship with him, he is 13 and will be moving here from Indiana only a few days before my due date. That is what I think I am most nervous about. I will be having my first baby, and meeting Kyle for the first time, all in a few days apart. Well depending on when baby decides to come :) Is your 3 year old excited for the baby, or does he not really understand quite yet. I am glad things are better for you than before. Well I have to go for now, but hopefully will talk to you later :)

KariLynn - Monday, 21 April
Hey I just wanted to say thanks for your post about the baby showers. I really don't think people know how lucky they are. I live 14 hours from any family and dn't know a lot of people here. So I don't get a baby shower, plus this is my first one. Some people just like to take things for granted :) But I am glad I am not the only one who doesn't get to have a shower :) Things going well for you so far? I can't wait to meet my son. The time is so quickly approaching, its all scary and fun all at the same time.

LOL your message wasn't too long :)
Good, I'm glad your starting to freak out a little bit too now that June's getting closer and closer. It's been going by so fast for me, too. I've also been so busy. I've been cleaning like a maniac too - this weekend I went out and bought all these plants and flowers, new patio furniture - and spent all day yesterday cleaning the yard, gardening, etc... Our front and back porch look great now though! :)
Next weekend I'll be doing the inside of the house - again! lol My hubby's gonna rent us a storage space and this weekend we'll start putting stuff in there that are just taking up room. That way I can start making room for all baby Madison's stuff.
Don't worry - we don't have a dishwasher either (old house) and it SUCKS!!! When we move I am going to make sure there is a dishwasher! lol
I get a lot of bh contractions too - but same as you, their not consistent. (let's hope they stay like that for the next 8 weeks!)

I really love that name, Cayden James. And I love how it's spelled too. F*** Britney Spears - lol. You didn't know that when you named Cayden. And to be honest I don't think anyone really knows her kids names...I listen to all the gossip (gossip junkie, I admit!) and I did't know her kids names. I would keep it like you have it...

padow - Monday, 21 April
Well, if you ever want to talk, let me know! Yes, thanks for the well-wish. It has been a struggle...it took me about 6 months to admit that I was finally pg!! Hubbs is handling me better, I think. I used to make myself (and him) pretty miserable. So, did you already move? We are moving mid-July, a month after she's here. Like the name Cayden. Take care and type back when you can!

nmck - Monday, 21 April
Don't you hate when they can't tell you why you're bleeding? Glad you are doing well, and will keep my fingers crossed that you continue to do well for several more weeks!

mplsmama - Monday, 21 April
Glad to hear you're feeling better! I ended up being assessed in the hosp a few wks ago, and my baby's heartbeat was all over the place too, and they said that's normal [in fact, they said that's what they want to see happen]. Sorry to hear about your scare, but glad to hear everything turned out ok.

padow - Sunday, 20 April
Glad to hear that everything is ok with your little man! Take care of yourself and take it easy!

WOW I hope you dont take that last persons comments literally ""Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell." (Proverbs 23:14). "Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying." (Proverbs 19:18). " EEEKKK My advice is to relax.. maybe get out of the house with your little guy and play at the park.. burn some of his energy off. High stress durring pregnancy is link to ADHD and other complications... so I would try to find some ways to relax.. take a walk, a bath and dont put too much pressure on yourself to take care of everything at once! It will all come together.. big hugs for you!!!

Grace - Sunday, 20 April
also, YOU NEED TO BREATHE!!! calm down, stress has a bad influence on pregnancy and worrying about all those things is not good. For some reason kids seem to start really acting up right before the next arrives, I have 3 not including the one I'm pregnant with, and we've dealt with that. It's strange it's like they can sense time is short so they had better get away with whatever thay can while mommy is slow. BUT YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE THEY KNOW CLEARLY THAT YOU WON'T TAKE IT! I know people dispute about how to disipline children now days, but I believe what the bible says- "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6). "Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell." (Proverbs 23:14). "Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying." (Proverbs 19:18).
They learn to respect authority, and how to rightly function in this world, because if we don't do it when they are young then the courts will do it when they are older, and it is because we love them that we should discipine them, being as pregnant as we are now, we have to make it clear to them that we are boss and that they don't run us.
And your child won't stress you so much once they learn this lesson. Hope this helps some. Blessings.

knockoutmom - Saturday, 19 April

I feel for you..lol,I'm in the same boat with my 3 yr old (He'll be 4 in June) and although I get called into work once a week or so,I'm at home with him constantly pretty much..My boyfriend has his own place and tries to spend time with us,but he works alot of hours..I just want to pull my hair out at times because I'm SO tired and tied down right now,but I have no energy to get out and do anything....I'm also nervous about handling TWO boys by myself come june...I'm sure we'll do fine:)
Hang in there..They don't call us 'Momma' for nothin'eh??

christy33 - Saturday, 19 April
My post went up 4 min after yours! OMG! I feel like i'm losing my mind to! My boys are 6 and 4, and my 4 yr old is being better than my 6 yr old! He's pulling this crap where he just doesn't want to listen to me, and he knows that its hard for me to chase him, so he just runs away from me! Excuse my language, but it is really pissing me off! I was so mad at him a few min. ago that I told my husband that he was not going to the pool, for not listening, but then I said just take them because I don't want to be around them right now! I feel like the evil mother, but my patience has run out! Thank God for this website, it helps me to keep my saniity!

ourlovetoken - Saturday, 19 April
that's what scares me ... they usually go away right away but this time just isn't. I drank water and laid down and nothing. It must had taken me like 15 minutes to just turn around and be able to get up...Hate not knowing.
I'll give it another hr. and if doesn't get better then I am going to the hospital..My hubby tried calling the dr. but they're closed and the answering machine just said to got to the hospital if ur experiencing labor like symptons...I've never been pregnant...I don't know that!
LOL...Thanks for the comment

mommi2b - Saturday, 19 April
Hi! Sorry I haven't gotten back to you, been so busy lately - exhausting! I was thinking about you though and wondering how all was going w/ the new house. I'm so glad it's going so good! That's so awesome you like your new doc so much! I'm glad everything is working out for you!...what a relief everything must be, huh?
I know - it's coming up so quick now! I'm so scared and excited all at the same time! My life is totally gonna change forever soon - and I'm freaking out! It's like I wish she would hurry up and get here but then at the same time it's like nevermind I can wait! Know what I mean? I'm just a mess!....

mplsmama - Friday, 18 April
Well, yeah, I guess I'm a bit concerned about being able to delivery vaginally -- 8 lbs isn't that bad -- it's the "at least" 8 lbs that concerns me! 9 or 1O lbs sounds like a bit much to me. I guess if nothing else it's just a bit surprising to hear that kind of news... my husband and I are just not big people so it's just not anything I anticipated I'd hear from my dr. It's hard not to be a bit concerned but I'll get an u/s in 2 wks & I'll get the scoop then.

DanaLee - Thursday, 17 April
ya it was from measurements of her head and leg bone! so she is a big baby!!!!

DanaLee - Thursday, 17 April
thanks for the response - i wouldnt be as freaked out if they were just feeling my belly and estimating that she'll be big, just the ultrasound and measurements.. but they can be off, so lets hope thats the case (o:
good luck to you too

I LOVE Olive Garden! They all closed down where my family lives (in Ottawa, Canada). We used to go so often in university- loved their all you can eat bread and salad- good soups too. I used to stuff up on those and bring my entree home for lunch the next day!

ourlovetoken - Tuesday, 15 April
Hi, same as you I hadn't been on the site for a while, i'll read the comments and posts but was being a bit lazy about posting.
Dr. faxed the paperwork to my new dr. the night before...and this was 'cause I called them about 4 times thruout the day the day before. They kept telling me they had already done it and stuff ...LIARS!
So glad I am not with them anymore. Saw my new dr. and my husband and I really liked her. Everything looks fine with the little one. Did my 3hr glucose test and will be gettin my results at my next appt. 4/24. Dr. wants to see me every other week from now on. I see you have your next appt.on the 24 too...LOL!
I had a 3d/4d U/S that same day and little one it's alreay head down.
Thanks for checking in and I am very happy to hear your liking your dr. and that the nursery is coming all alone....TTYS!
Say hi to your little ones for me :)

erica93 - Monday, 14 April
Thanks for your advice on the newborn's clothing! Hope everything is going well with you!

cali.momma - Monday, 14 April

cali.momma - Monday, 14 April
its so annoying. hes always like "tell me if you need me to do anything" and ill be struggling to do something and he will look at me and go back to what he was doing. id finish struggling, and hes like "do you need any help".."I COULD HAVE 5 SECONDS AGO!" ughh

mplsmama - Monday, 14 April
Hope you're feeling better -- hope the cramping & low back pain is better today. I've definitely also had some cramping here & there too, but usually if I just drink some water & lay down it gets better. Who knows!
