I am with you! I am so exhausted when I get home from work, the last thing I want to do is cook or clean or do laundry. :-( It's like I want the vaccuuming done real bad and everything thing, but I just don't feel like I can do it. I really want to nap as soon as I get home, but I fight it so that I can fall asleep that night.

Hi! Yes I will certainly cherish my little one, I waited so long for him and I didn't think I would have anymore children. I'm feeling really tired also, I had a cleaning binge yesterday but it didn't last to long because I got tired but I got alot done. Today I'm not feeling so well, I just don't feel myself and I;m having alot of diaherra now. (sorry TMI) I have no appetite and I could just lay down and do nothing. This morning I was having alot of cramping and contractions and they where 10 min apart but stopped so I don't know if maybe I'm getting ready to go into labor or if this is normal at 35 weeks. With my oldest son my water broke and I didn't have any contractions till about 3 hours later after I was at the hospital so I don't know. I'm getting nervous also about the whole infant thing. I'm so use to sleeping when I want and all that and everything is fixing to change. I pray my baby doesn't have colic and is a good sleeper. I had post partum also but luckily it only lasted a couple of days. Now that its getting closer I'm really feeling nervous about everything, especially the labor part and after trying to heal and take care of a newborn. I guess this is normal to feel like this after all look how much our lives are fixing to change, of course for the better. So how are you feeling today?

Thanks for calling me strong, sometimes I don't feel it! My doctor told me they didn't know if I would even get pregnant on my own because of the lupus and that I would probally have to go to a fertility specialist but God had plans of his own because I'm pregnant without any help! We are naming our son Blake Ryan, its the only name we both could decide on that we really liked. Thats a sad story about your uncle, to go thru life like that and then die from the flu just shows you how short life really is. Is your daughter excited about the baby coming? I bet she will help you out alot with him, I afraid my son want have much to do with his brother being a 16 year age difference, although he does act excited about being a brother! Well have a good night and get some rest!!!

Hi there!! Sounds like you had a good baby shower and thats a good idea about Home Depot theme. My first son is 16 years old so we had nothing for a baby, I'm completely starting over! I'm 38 years old so I'm high risk due to age, and lupus. I also found out that I have gestionatioal diabetes and now my blood pressure is high. At my doctors appt yesterday everything went really good, I had a ultra sound and everything looked good and my blood pressure was down some so my doctor told me in the next 2 weeks she will go ahead and induce. I'm hoping I can make it next Fri since that will be Aug 1!!!! I'm having a boy do you know what your having?

My baby dropped about 4 weeks ago. I didn't feel it actually "drop" but it feels different now. For example, the feet are out of my ribs and there is extreme pressure on my bladder and intensines/colin (not sure which one), but especially when the baby moves now it goes right into one of those organs - it really hurts! I don't know if I have to do #1 or #2 and then it goes away, ugh, but it's rough!

Found out good news today. My Dr. got rights to another hospital so we don't have to change Dr now. I'm so happy.

Thats an amazing story, funny how fate works the way it does sometimes!! Me and son (from a previous marriage) both have birthdays in March, my new husband birthday is an Aug so I said the whole time we even thought about having a baby together that I wanted it due in Aug and it took us 9 months to get pregnant but its due in Aug!! The sad thing is I'm having alot of problems now with my pregnancy due to being high risk and now the doctor doesn't think I will make it Aug 1. I was sad at first but now I just want my baby to be healthy so if it means coming in July then that fine. Have a fun baby shower tomorrow!!!!

It's not fun thing to go through. Might Dr may get rights to another hospital so I can stay with him. I just don't know what to do. I've been going to the same Dr since I started going to a OB/GYN. I hope everything works out for the big baby issue. Are they going to start your labor if the baby get's to big?

WOW!!! What timing you have!! I'm so emotional right now I have tears in my eyes just because of the dates from your first date and the baby shower! That is awsome makes you really think about how things works out like that did for you!

Hi there, my dentist gave me an RX for Denavir he said I could use it while pregnant. It works great, I kept getting cold sores back in the spring because I would get a little sunburn watching my son play a baseball game, I swear I would start using the medicine and within 24 hours you can tell a huge difference. I'm sure your doctor could call you in the RX if you don't have a dentist or your dentist want call it in. If you do end up getting it filled apply it at least 5X a day thats what I did.

Just read your post, I've been stressing about anything and everything. Its driving me nuts as i'm usually laid back, I blame those pesky hormones. I know its easier said then done but try not to worry tho, not good for either or baby. Take care x

Hi thank you for your reply. Families are so complicated arn't they! One of the things that upsets me with my sister is, she knows we had two miscarriages within a year & it took us more than two years to get pregnant again. We were really close before her miscarriage. I totally understand how devastating a miscarriage can be & was there for her when it happened, then the contact just stopped. She didn't even call me on my birthday. I am trying to be understanding & sensitive to her situation but it's really upsetting me she feels she can't have anything to do with me & the baby. I'm leaning towards contacting her sooner rather than later, I want my sister in our lives & this isn't going to get any easier if i don't! Anyway i really hope your situation sorts it's self out too, a new baby can bring families back together again & i've got my fingers crossed for the both of us! Take care & good luck with the rest of your pregnancy
PS it's good to vent!!!!!

Thank you for the message. My doctor is very supportive, we are going to schedule a c-section a few days after my due date to give me time to go into labor on my own, because he can't induce me.... I went through labor with my son almost 6 years ago, but he was almost 11lbs so I COULD NOT push him out and had to have a c-section. I'm hoping that this time my baby will be smaller ( different fathers) The Dr. said, as long as the baby is 8lbs or under I should be fine ( I have an oval shaped pelvis)

Thank you for your input on baptism. Its frustrating trying to please everyone. And no matter when we baptize her, SOMEONE wont be able to make it. We havent chosen godparents yet, but I guess the important thing is that both of them be available.

Hi there! It is pretty cool when you meet someone who is familiar with Corpus Christi, Texas! I have been here pretty much my entire life (except for being born in California and college at Texas A&M and a few years in Houston). I can't imagine living anywhere else but Texas! I have visited many beautiful places, but this will always be home for me! I hope your pregnancy is going well! Except for my little one being breech, everything else is going very well! Good Luck and thanks for the thoughtful note!
