Our Story: My husband and I are more excited than I could possibly express with words. After the loss of our first baby in March of this year.... we tried to concieve through my first 2 cycles and here we are... so blessed to be pregnant again with a beautiful little one! Things are going really well thus far... we've had wonderful levels with our blood tests and the doctor has assured us that everything is just fine.

*We had our first ultrasound done at 8 weeks and all was PERFECT with baby.*

*Our second appointment was at 10 weeks and the heartbeat was 168!*

*Our second ultrasound was at 12 weeks and our 12 week appointment went as well as can be. Heartbeat was 153 and baby jumped all over the place in the ultrasound*

*16 week appointment was wonderful! Heartrate was 163 and I've gained a whopping 7 pounds total!

*20 week appointment was awesome. The heartrate was 153, I've gained 9 pounds total, and my belly is measuring 2 weeks & 3 days ahead!!

....Now we're looking forward to our 20 week ultrasound on October 13th so that we can see how baby is measuring!!

19 weeks 4 days:

I'm terribly congested in these past 4 or 5 days.... and instead of it just being in the morning.... it's an all day thing. The congestion isn't a new symptom~ but the all day congestion is.

I'm waiting on baby to move more today. He or she must be pretty sleepy. I felt just one kick this morning and nothing since. I'll have to push around on him or her and see if I can get some movement.

I hear that boys are very active and girls are not.... so I have to wonder if I have a girl on my hands because this little one sleeps a LOT. But... I also read that right now, the baby is sleeping 20 hours a day. (but that would mean that it's awake for 4 hours and I certainly don't feel 4 hours worth of movement).

I have my 5 month appointment this afternoon and I'm super nervous. I'm scared to death to get on the scales. I know I'm gaining and gaining. My appetite has been ridiculous and I haven't done well lately with sticking to a regular eating schedule because I've been so swamped with school & moving.

Oh well.... not to worry too much over my weight. I'll lose it all after the baby comes I guess.

Congratulations Bunches on your c-section this week! I'm SOOO happy for you. Can't believe you're little girl or guy is going to be here!
