yes, i love taebo! everytime a new set comes out, i buy them...so i have like 20 dvd's or something! i especially love the ab ones. its just so nice b/c realistically for me to get to the gym or figure out a time when my husband can watch them, it too hard to work around or do consistently. so i always joke with my husband that billy is my best friend. i literally had abs...and i mean, a 6 pack about 3 months after Silas was born. My stomach is flat now, but you know how you just kind of have skin that still has to shrink, i mean that was completely gone. blah, i hate it! i know it will go away soon, but its frustrating b/c my stomach literally could not get any smaller than it is on its own, now i just have to wait for my workouts to have their effect!

so eli has taken two good naps today, without me holding him! yay! hopefully he's feeling a little better, but it doesn't look much better! but last night was still really bad. and then silas still comes crawling up in our bed in the middle of the night, so we end of with all four of us by the morning! i just try and take a nap every afternoon. in fact, i just woke up! its nice because silas is still on his nap schedule (he naps 2-4 hours in the afternoon) so i just lay eli next to me and all three of us sleep!

wow, so your little guy surpassed mine! eli still weight 7.5 pounds and he'll me 4 weeks tomorrow. he was 8 pounds at birth. its so weird because he is SO teeny. everything about him is really long, so it makes him look even thinner.

well i am still LOVING my stroller. obviously haven't jogged with it, but i'll let you know! i cannot tell you how many compliments i get on it every single time i go out. no one has really seen them, but think they are the greatest thing ever once they see it!

and yes, 2 kids is definitely much harder! getting out the door takes forever!! and in and out of the car is crazy, because i have to get my stroller out every single time. i mean, i can not just run in and out of anywhere! it really slows me down as far as i really think if its worth stopping or not. sometimes even just with silas i wouldn't want to stop and get him out, especially if he happened to fall asleep, but now i do the things i absolutely have to during the day and run most of my errands at night, and leave the baby with my husband. its just more complicated. i generally get a jamba juice everyday b/c i'm SO addicted to them.. but i haven't had one in forever, b/c its not worth it to me to spend 10 minutes getting out of the car to go inside for 2 minutes. they need a drive through! but then again, i've been thinking that for years. i wonder why no one has thought of it?? seriously, a drive through jamba juice would do SO well! don't ya think??

i know, its a weird dynamic, because the older they get..and the more they interact, the more fun they become. but its sad at the same time because you know they are growing up! seriously, it goes by WAY too fast! i cannot believe its already been a month. seems like forever yet like yesterday all at the same time. weird!

my brother and sister in law are coming in on thursday and will be here for the 4th. we'll prob just go to the beach or something. what about you guys?

Yeah, the tearing part stinks! I felt better after a couple weeks though. I think I really over did it though, b/c I felt for awhile like it was getting worse. And I noticed if I had a really busy day, it would hurt SO bad... so yeah, I think I tried to do too much too soon (both times). I just go stir crazy and like to be out and about. So, I haven't started running yet (I'm hoping too soon) but am doing taebo for now.

So yeah, it seems my perfectly easy little Eli has gotten not so easy! If I am not holding or feeding him, he cries! Actually, half the time holding him doesn't help...he just wants to suck on me! But he has a REALLY bad yeast infection. I thought it was just a diaper rash and so was just putting normal diaper rash cream on it. But my doctor told me it was yeast, which I guess really burns. I feel so bad, but she acted like it could take weeks to go away. It looks SO bad! Its even making his skin peel. So its hurts anyway, but when he goes to the bathroom I guess its really bad...which of course is all the time! So, I've been making good use of my sling the past few days. I don't know what else to do...I could barely even get ready this morning. Then I had to run to the store because I couldn't find his cream to put on it. So, I run in Target and while I'm out with the 2 kids I may as well pick up some stuff I need...since its a big adventure just getting the two of them in and out of the car. So anyhow, he was screaming the whole time! I made it in and out in record breaking time and still got what I needed. lol, I think I'm adjusting slowly but surely though. ha ha, I just can't imagine how people do it when they have multiples!! Yesterday after church Silas went home with the grandparents and after a couple of hours my husband and I looked at each other and were like ...so this is what life was like with one kid... it was SO quiet! and easy!

so anyhow, I cannot believe the weather we're having! Its been like 108 the past 3 days...which is insane! it seems like the weather everywhere is pretty crazy though. how is it there?

so have you braved stepping on a scale yet? lol, i never wanted to know how much i gained, so i always told the nurse not to tell me...but i'm interested to see how much i weigh now. i'm back in all my clothes, but cannot wait to look toned again!

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I'm to be induced on Monday (41 weeks tomorrow and they won't wait any longer) so baby will be here by Monday or Tuesday at the latest (if he doesn't pop out before then). It's getting exciting!!! Can't wait to meet him (and every time I think of that I get all teary-eyed!) I won't be able to share my birth story and photos til my week long hospital stay is over though.

Do you have a Mac? I have problems updating my profile with Safari- I have to use Firefox (just in case that's the problem- saw that you were having trouble changing your pregnancy status).

He's still sleeping pretty much all day and night. Its kind of aggravating though bc while he was in the nursery they got him on a pacifier and i can't get him off it! he always wants to be sucking on either me or it!! i mean, it seems like it would be easy to take it away but i don't want my newborn baby crying and crying bc i won't give it to him! but yeah, i never gave my first one...so i'm just not used to it. lol, i wouldn't mind so much if he didn't accidentally spit it out ever 5 minutes!
so you're staying at home right? how's that going? i brought my work computer home so I can get stuff done here, but i'm going stir crazy!! lol, so is my 2 year old. it takes so much more time getting out the door and in and out of the car with two! i just love being out and about and i was all the time with just one, but two is a totally different story! i did go to costco yesterday, just to get out of the house. ha, i'll have to figure out what big adventure i'm going on today! we were supposed to go swimming, but my friend had to cancel.
so yeah, how are you feeling? i already started working out again. i'm SO glad i'm finished bleeding and everything. i've heard of people bleeding for a couple months, but i only did for two weeks both times. yay!
anyhow, i'm bored..write me! =)

3 oz since wednesday, so she was happy with that. i have to go back on friday, hopefully for the last time. they like them to be back to birth weight by 2 weeks and he is almost 3. he has about half a pound to go. hopefully he'll be there friday!

Oh sorry...during labor it broke. Pushing for three hours every 2-3 minutes. My epidural was NOT working and I was actually doing ok with the pain...but then I started screaming "MY BUTT!" Yep. Good times had by all. Not really! I am going to an ortho to see how badly it is broken or if anything else happened to it...but there is nothing they can do. I just try to stand or lay down when feeding, sit on a sexy doughnut and take Anti-inflams, tylenol and pain medication around the clock.

I have been to The Keg...I think! Oh. BTW...my friend owns THE HOLE downtown...we'll have to meet there sometime.

Does Swayer like to sleep during the day and be awake at night? Are you or Geoff night owls?

Let me see if we have anything this weekend...but that should work:)

Yes, I was happy to drive. It wasn't a fun drive and I got seriously invaded by the medical community...but it was nice. Hadn't driven more than TWO miles since before the wedding in September. Can you imagine?!!? My arse hurt a lot and I had to take some breaks, but it's ok.

Um, we had steak yesterday as well! Did you guys bbq? Did Geoff enjoy his dad? What did you get him? How is Swayer doing?

We did have a great time. Saturday we spent time with my mom and dad. Yesterday John got off early and we went to look at "Back Country" a development that we really like in Highlands Ranch. Then we went to his parents for BBQ. I got him a silly card and wrote a really cute note in it. Daddy cupons, the John Adams book and a frame that says "My heart belongs to Daddy."

We will figure out if both of us can drive the next couple days. Or what we should do etc. I need to figure out what days John is off this week. Friday we have a wedding but it's not until early evening.

Did I tell you? I had to go back to the doctor and hospital on Friday and I DROVE MYSELF!! I can drive now, but just for short trips and I can't take my pain medication to drive. BUT....when do you want to get together?

i HAVE to get more pics. I feel terrible b/c i prob took several hundred pictures in the first week of my oldest, but its been so crazy ive barely gotten my camera out! time, i need time!!

we're good, have to go to the doctor again tomorrow. if his weight is up i shouldn't have to go anymore. i get so nervous everytime!

wow, sounds like an exciting birth story =) and i know, its so weird. once they come, its like they have always been here. you cannot imagine life without them. they are so easy when they are this small because they just sleep and eat. its REALLY nice!
so yeah, this baby is night and day different than my older son. my oldest would wake up the instant you put him down! he would not nap at all...ever! it was crazy. he literally ended up sleeping in the bed next to me so I could get some sleep. and then it was impossible to get him out of the bed. he also loved eating! this one is perfectly content being laid down in his bassinet and i literally have to wake him up to feed him. he barely cries. he is much more mellow. but my goodness, its crazy how you just fall in love with them instantly! i just am enjoying every second because I know it goes soooo fast! they are only so small for such a short time and i just cannot stop staring at him. its also weird thinking that we may be done and i just need to really really enjoy this. we're not sure we want more than 2, but i guess we'll see down the road!
how is your husband adjusting? i could barely get my husband out the door because he doesn't want to leave. and then he'll come home like an hour later for lunch. lol, i don't know how they leave and go to work all day!
anyhow, my parents came in town yesterday from texas and are staying a week. so that's fun...and easy on me because i get lots of help! i'm in here right now working on my computer a little so i can get at least a few hours on my next paycheck. luckily i'm gonna use some of my sick days and had one vacation day. i don't plan on working as much, especially since school's about out for the summer, but there's still some things i have to get done. i'm kind of in a position where there's not really anyone else up there that can do the things that i do, so its good because they still need me, but also bad because i'm stuck having to do it!!
anyhow, well i really need to get more pictures up, ive just been so busy! do you have myspace or facebook? i have both, but have kind of abandoned myspace for facebook.

Hey sweetheart...thanks for explaining the "balls" thing!

How are you doing? How is Swayer? did you have a good weekend? Are you getting any sleep? How are things going??!?!

I am glad that you got the same pump as me. I am not sure what to tell you about pumping...being a newbie myself at all of this. I guess it is different for all women. I was pumping a lot because he wasn't gaining and my milk production was SO wacky. I needed to track oz's. But, now I don't pump as often. Like, if he only goes on one boob, I'll pump the other one. Pumping didn't make my boobs fill up worse...but I have heard that some people have over production from it. (I never double pump). I was told to while in the hospital but never at home. I need a free hand to do something with instead of just sitting there. I am also taking the Fenugreek though for production. Today I only pumped once. I had friends here for HOURS which was great but I decided to do one formula feeding. I pumped after they left and got almost 4 1/2 ounces. We then went to dinner with John's parents so I was able to feed him that milk. I dunno. I would just do whatever feels best for you and expirement. Don't pump if you don't think you need to though:) I would at least try it though...you can see how much you have in each boobie and save some in case you need a break and want Geoff to do a feeding. I am going to start saving some this week. Even having John do ONE feeding would be great:)

I have a little gift for Swayer as well. We will have to plan a date. I need a little break the next couple days. We have been seeing SO many people and we have plans the next four days with people which is great, but it's been a lot!
