I am currently loving and mothering from my hunny:
I have opened my home throughout the years to (but have left us):
So, something about me. I was a teen mom. I got pregnant at 14, had him at 15, got pregnant at 16, and him at 17, got pregnant at 18, had her at 19, got pregnant and had him at 22. I used fertility drugs with 2 of my kids because of PCOS that i was diagnosed with at 16. Took a bit, but it happened!
I am number 8 of 10 kids, so i always wanted a big family, so i started young. I married my 5th grade boyfriend at 16, after we had lived on our own for a year. We divorced at 22 after realizing we werent who we were when we got married. We pretty much grew up differently. I wasnt the typical teen mom. I graduated high school at 16, college at 23, and supported my family the way an 30 year old mother did, i just did it earlier. He regreted being a dad and wanted to play. So i took the kids and had my family.
I was in the foster system when i was younger and decided to help others. Throughout the years i've taken in children from my very own family to strangers in the system. I tried to adopt my oldest sons 4 sisters and brother from CPS but was turned down in favor of the foster home they were already in. I'm currently in the process of getting custody of another one of his sisters from CPS, (his dad had 8 children, including my son, has custody of none, and im the only mother who still has custody), but dont know if i'll be approved due to medical history and how many children I currently have in my care. I'm a sucker for kids. I have a degree in Child Development and was site supervisor of a pre-school before having my youngest son in 2003. Left to be a full time mommy to him, since he had medical issues.
Fast forword alittle bit, i met the love of my life, Mark. Hes 10 years older then me, had 3 boys and i fell in love the day i met him. My kids love him, his kids love me. We made a family together. We thought we couldnt get happier.
It all came crashing down when i was diagnosed with cervical cancer cells on my sons birthday Oct 9 of 2008. I started treatment, biospys, etc. At first i was given a 2% chance of living because they thought it had already spread to my stomach and intestines. I was in pain, bleeding and couldnt keep anything down. Test after test, good news, it was a completly different problem, my gull bladder was severly blocked and infected and the infection had spread to my stomach and intestines. So a surgery later, that was fixed. In May i had cryosurgery on my cervix to get the cancer cells before they spread. Two weeks later, without a period and with hurt cervix, i got pregnant!!! 6 years with no birth control and nothing. Now im sick, in pain and get pregnant! Go figure! My doc was shocked! I went in thinking i had a infection from the surgery and found out i was 7 weeks pregnant! Wow huh? He said i shouldnt have been able to get pregnant, let alone carry that far. But since i kept the baby so far, he said i didnt have to really worry, because my cervix is doing its job. So here we are. Pregnant! It was a shock to say the least. His boys were in shock. They never thought he would had another baby, since his boys are almost old and out (2 already are, one with a baby himself). My kids are super excited. My daughter has been begging for a sister for years! She wont leave me alone. Asking everyday how i am, am i sick, how big is the baby, can i feel it yet, etc. She googles everything pregnancy! Shes more excited then we are, so it seems. She cant wait! .
So... currently im a stay at home mom, back in college. I was in a car accident 2 years ago that almost took my life and left me in a coma with most of my body broken. A drunk driver hit me head on while I was on my way to work. So now I'm on disability from it, so im taking the time to better educate myself to get a good, easy job!
