I'm going to be a MOMMY !!!! I am so excited! I am a 26 year old Kindergarten teacher. I was recently married on June 28, 2008. A lot of people say that my bundle of joy was a Jamaican honeymoon gift....lol. I will post updates and pictures when I have time. Teaching has been tiring this year. Hopefully my class takes it easy on me during my pregnancy!

10/13/2008: 11 Weeks and 4 Days Pregnant

Yesterday I had a HUGE scare. I started to spot red blood. It scared the crap out of me! In my mind, I felt that I was too close to the 12 week milestone for this to happen. This morning I thought everything was fine...until I got to work. The red spotting had started up again. I made an appointment for the doctor's today at 1:15PM. They said that my placenta was close to my cervix and that may have been the reason for my spotting. THANKFULLY, my hubby and I saw our beautiful baby. He was kicking and posing!!! His head was HUGE but "he" was one of the most beautiful sights that I ever saw!!!! (LOL) I am praying everyday for our baby!!! Makesure you keep God first in your life!!!

Who in the Chicago land area had baby showers outside of a home and where did you have it? trying to find places to have my Chicago baby shower as I am from there originally and have a lot of family and friends there, but don't want to use anyone's house.
