July19- hey everyone,though i am predicted a boy according to Chinese gender predictor..i very much believe its a girl...well! we'll come to know that soon as i am going for my

ultrasound in 2 weeks..i am so excited!!

july27- tonight i felt my baby...it was moving...i don't know how to tell u but it was amazing..it was like bubbles in my stomach....my hubby hasn't felt it yet...i wish he do that soon.as the movement was not prominent its hard to tell if its actually the baby moving....

Aug 2- hey i am going for my scan tomorrow... though i am excited but i am a little worried too...i just want everything to be fine with the baby...we'll get to know if its a girl or a boy...it really doesn't matter to us as its our first child and we r so excited abt it. we planned we'll go out and celebrate the same night. we don't want to disclose it to our family abt the sex of the baby...keep it a surprise for them as they all live very far and they all believe in the moment.

Aug 3- hiiii...i had my scan today...when the tech started he said it will be hard to find the gender of the baby as the legs were crossed and we were a little disappointed but then the baby was moving alot. after taking all the measurements and going through the anatomy of the baby....he found out the sex of the baby...but we asked him to pen it down so we can celebrate it the night over the dinner...and here it is.....its a boy!

Aug 22- went to see the doc last week..he said all is fine..though placenta is a bit low and i need to watch out for my increasing weight...i finally started shopping for my little prince...bought bodysuits, outerwear, sleepwear and some accessories for him...still need to shop alot...everything was so tempting in the stores that i feel like picking everything...lol...nothing much at my end..all is fine and hope its stays that way.

oct 28- hi everyone...i had my baby shower yesterday...was fun but tiring...i have posted few pics from the day...after this i am looing fwd to decorate the nursery soon.baby is doing gr8 and rest is all fine.
HI EVERYONE ! JUST LETTING U ALL KNOW THAT I HAD MY BABY BOY THROUGH C-SECTION ON NEW YEARS EVE AT 11:54 PM. WE HAVE NAMED HIM PRANAV RAI..I AM STILL IN HOSPITAL BUT WE ALL ARE DOING FINE...I'LL WRITE MY BIRTH STORY AND WILL POST HIS PICS ONCE WE REACH BACK HOME....THANX TO ALL OF U FOR UR WISHES AND LOVE...WISH U ALL A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR

Birth Story
When i went to see my doctor on dec 31st..he did my pelvic exam and said i am not yet dilated nor effaced...he did my ultra sound and found that my amniotic fluid was measuring less...to confirm his doubt he asked us to go to the hospital imideately and get BPP(biophysical profile)test done...it is a nonstress test with electronic fetal heart monitoring and a fetal ultrasound. It measures baby's heart rate, muscle tone, movement, breathing, and the amount of amniotic fluid around baby.Results showed that the amniotic fluid was less and i need to undergo a c-section as inducing me could risk the life of baby.It was 4:00 pm when i was admitted and was put on IV..my hubby went home to get the hospital bag and my MIL.At 11:20 pm they took me inside and gave me local anesthesia ..11:45pm my hubby was called in and he sat next to me holding my hand.11:54pm PRANAV was born...when i saw him first i was in tears...it was the most amazing feeling and emotion i ever felt.my hubby was send to the nursery with him to weight and clean him...my cut was then stapled and i was send to the recovery room...when the whole world was celebrating the arrival on new year..we celebrated our bundle of joy.

hi priya...i strtd shreya in solids as well bout a month bk...she seems to enjoy it...shreya sits on her own without support n even stds holdin the sofa if i help her stnd up n leave her...but she not yet crawlin or creepin...takes 360 degree rotations though..she somehow not gettin the funda f crawling..heh wen she wants to move frwd she just lifts both her legs n arms off the groud like a bird tryin to fly...n strains as her tummy supports her wt entirely...obv she doesnt move an inch...i get a feelin she will just eventually skip crawlin like some kids..as her legs pretty strong n she stndin up with support..
