CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE MOMMIES TO BE!

Hi, my name is Tracey and I am 8 weeks 4 days pregnant today! I am married to a wonderful guy John who has a TON of PATIENCE with me! GOD BLESS HIM! I have had trouble with previous pregnancies in the past...2 miscarriages. I have an ADORABLE LITTLE PRINCESS named Rhianna who is 4 yrs old. We just had our first ultrasound done on March 10 and got to see the little "PEANUT" and its STRONG heartbeat of 175!!! What a BLESSING and MIRACLE! My due date is Oct. 18, 2008.

I want to wish everyone well! Please take the time to take care of yourselves and RELAX! Much easier said than done I know! NO STRESS LADIES!

I go to my 3D ultrasound tomorrow! I can't wait! Brody is SO much fun! I'm debating whether or not to have a soda before I go. I don't want him to be TOO active, however I want him to be AWAKE! We'll see...

They hung sheetrock (drywall) at the house today! I think they're supposed to start to tile tomorrow! SUPER EXCITING! I want to decorate Brody's room!

I found a LOT of cute new stuff for Brody at "The Children's Place" while we were in New Orleans! I got 8 things for $30!!!!!!!! I was excited about my great purchases!

Hey there! How have you been? How are you feeling? I'm good except for the pain in my butt! No, literally! Ha! It's on and off, but on for thelast 5 days or so. Tried calling doc all day yesterday and nurse finally called me back at 5:30 and told me the doc wants me to go to physical thereapist and get an assessment. So now I'm waiting for them to call me back to schedule an appt.
Besides that all is good...got all the furniture, jsut trying to find a way to arrange it the way I like it, then I'll post pix!

My 3D ultrasound is a week from this coming Friday (July 25). My husband and I are going to New Orleans for a short vacation and for a continuing education conference.

Brody is a wild man in there! He's definatly NOT in the right position! He better turn! We'll see...

Our house is half way shingled!! They installed the doors and windows yesterday! Tomorrow the heating and air guy is installing heating and air!! Also they'll be installing our home entertainment center tomorrow!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I'm DYING to decorate the baby's room! I buy more and more stuff for the room EVERY DAY!!!

I'm glad you're having such a great summer. This will be your last one with only 1 child! All those things sound like such fun...ENJOY!!

So how often does your husband travel? Does it get hard to be alone with your daughter? I guess you've made a good point, at least now I can lay down when I'm tired and when I'm not feeling well. I don't have anyone depending on me yet! But that will change soon. I can't wait. I feel like October can't get here fast enough!

Hey there. Well I've been on the internet all week trying to find out what the hell is going on, but I think everything will be ok. I have whats called velantemous cord insertion. The um. cord is suppossed to attach in the middle of the placenta, and mine is attached to the side. Because of this, the 'strings' that attach the two aren't nestled into the placenta, instead they are dangling between the two. (if that makes sense) So my little guy won't get all the nutrients that a baby with a regular cord would. This really just means he can be small and I may need to have an early c section once he gets to a certain weight.

I've been driving myslf nuts because if you look it up, it also tells you of a disorder similar to this, but the placenta is lower and near the cervix. (placenta previa i think) In that case the cord could break free b/c the 'strings' aren't secure which results in fetal bleeding.. which is fatal.

Anyway, the doc said if there was one to have, this would be it and everything should be ok. I think they only started diagnosing this condition recently, and in the past babies were probably just small. So thats it really. I get worried now and then and I realize evrything will be fine. Hey there! That's great that your daughter was also born in October, you should be set! But I can imagine you are busy buying new things also! I've been well, just very busy. We put an offer on a house and they accepted so we just went into attorney review. We're still trying to sell our condo. We have a few lookers and we're just trying to offer the right price.

Other then that I've just been laying low getting the house in order. I go back to the drs tomorrow for my follow up ultrasound to check out the cord and how it's attached to the placenta. Wish me luck! I will let you know how everything goes tomorrow. I hope you're enjoying your summer with your daughter.

Hey Sweetie,
I'm feeling FANTASTIC!! I've been having quite a bit of stretching going on!

We still don't have a name yet, however we're really thinking Brody Matthew Couch. I LOVE the name Brody! Ricky, Carrie, Brody, Christy (dog #1), and Doc (dog #2). Brody just fits!! We're keeping his name a secret from everyone else, you're the only one who knows...shhhhhhh don't tell.

I'm feeling a TON of movement! I LOVE it! Brody LOVES sugar and caffine! I know I'm supposed to limit it, but it's just SOOOO much fun watching him play! He goes crazy in there when I have sugar and/or caffine! I can tell when he has the hiccups now, which is incredibly exciting too! Brody also likes to jump on my cervix we say "he's jumping on his trampoline". Ricky (hubby) is enjoying Brody so much more now too! He cracks me up because he'll say, "Is the baby sleeping or is he awake?" He kissed my belly yesterday, I melted! Now when Ricky hugs me when he gets home from work he rubs my belly too! I'm LOVING it!

I've been nesting too, but it's frustrating nesting at this house because this won't even be where Brody comes home to! I deep cleaned every room in the house! I've done everything from cleaning out the fridge, cleaning baseboards, dusting EVERYTHING (table legs, chair legs, entertainment center, etc. I have also kept laundry done up. It's kept me busy! The in-laws are coming for July 4th, so I've had some incentive to get it all done!

Hope you're still doing well! I just wanted to check in and say Hi! I'm not doing much these days, except relaxing and enjoying my summer! They've poured the foundation and framed the walls of our house! They are hoping to be done with the roof at the end of this week!!!! YAY!!! Our builder told me he's hoping to have the house done by time for school to start!!!!! On the school note, I still don't know if or where I'll be teaching this year we'll just have to wait it out and see... I'm hopeful though. If not I'll stay at home, neither will be a bad deal!

I'm fantastic!! I love the new pics! I'm definately growing a baby as well!! I've been doing a whole lot of NOTHING since school got out! I've been doing some shopping also! I go to Wal-Mart every couple days and get a couple baby things. My husband doesn't freak out too bad, as long as I spread it out (and disguise it as groceries)

I will get some belly pics up here once I get my camera working the right way LOL. I've gained 4 pounds so far from what the doctor says. I spent the beginning really sick so I'm sure I lost weight at that point so now I've just gained back what I've lost. It's wierd b/c I thought with this being #3 I would get huge really quick, but that is not the case with me. I'm still in my own jeans and what not. I LOVE it though becuase it will be less that i have loose when the baby is out.

I'm the same way with my doppler. Every day I feel like 'today's the day I'm sending it back!' but then I wonder if I may 'need' it again! It has to go back soon I guess!

The problem with the cord is that he may not be getting all the nutrients he needs and he'll be small...but hopefully all is well. I've been looking it up onine and I have to stop! I'm making myself crazy!!!

That's nice you did a little shopping. I bought like 2 outfits, just because I wanted to 'confirm' that I had a little boy in there to myself. Silly huh?

Well good luck with the names, I think you should def. put up a survey, I always try and take a look at those. We're going for Patrick (something) My husband is Patrick John and I would like a PJ. He doesn't want a junior so we're just deciding on the middle name. So much fun!!

Don't worry about writing back immediately. I've been bad about checking it these days!

I'm glad you got to go shopping! I've been shopping like crazy myself! My mother-in-law bought our baby bedding for us! I've been sneaking in a few baby items every time I go to Wal-Mart for routine groceries and misc. stuff! I have bought a couple packs of diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, onesies, bibs, bottles, shoes, Baby Einstein DVD's, and a LOT more but I won't bore you!

My 3D/4D ultrasound is on July 25th at 1pm. Earlier that week my hubby and I are going to New Orleans for a veterinarian continuing education conference. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself while he's in meetings...I'll figure something out. Hopefully we're close to some shopping!!!

Nothing has been done with the nursery, since the house is still in the process of being built. My husband refuses to let me buy too much, knowing we're just going to have to move it in September to the NEW house.

Our little man has been kicking me like crazy! I LOVE it!!!! I've noticed if I eat or drink something sugary or with caffine he goes wild in there!

I'm job searching, I talked to the principal/superintendant at the school I was at this year and he told me he gave my job to another teacher (who it was her first year at the school also)!!!!!

The only reason he chose to give her the job was because she has a kid at the school which means money for the school!!!! Needless to say I'm not ecstatic with the situation! I know pregnancy is not supposed to have a bearing in wheather you're rehired or not, but I'm almost positive it's the reason he replaced me!! I may be a stay at home mom when our little one arrives!

Hey there...well the experience was awesome! We saw everything we could have wanted to..plus things we weren't sure of. It was great though. The tech was great and we were there ofr an hour. This was mainly because she couldn't get the last few shots, and she had to get another person to come in and try and get them. (He's stubborn already!)
So we were on a high as we went into the doctor's office to see him, then he said there might be a problem with my placenta. The cord may be attached to the side and not the middle as it should be. He said the tech couldn't get a good shot so they want me back in 3 weeks. He thinks it looks ok , but wants to check it again. If it is on the side, he said the good news is it's not on the side by my cervix, which is very dangerous. They would just monitor the baby because he will probably be small.
So.....I went from a super high to a super low real fast! But hopefully all is well and the tech just couldn't see it right. So keep your finger crossed for me, I go back on July 2nd.
