CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE MOMMIES TO BE!

Hi, my name is Tracey and I am 8 weeks 4 days pregnant today! I am married to a wonderful guy John who has a TON of PATIENCE with me! GOD BLESS HIM! I have had trouble with previous pregnancies in the past...2 miscarriages. I have an ADORABLE LITTLE PRINCESS named Rhianna who is 4 yrs old. We just had our first ultrasound done on March 10 and got to see the little "PEANUT" and its STRONG heartbeat of 175!!! What a BLESSING and MIRACLE! My due date is Oct. 18, 2008.

I want to wish everyone well! Please take the time to take care of yourselves and RELAX! Much easier said than done I know! NO STRESS LADIES!

I'm the same way with my doppler. Every day I feel like 'today's the day I'm sending it back!' but then I wonder if I may 'need' it again! It has to go back soon I guess!

The problem with the cord is that he may not be getting all the nutrients he needs and he'll be small...but hopefully all is well. I've been looking it up onine and I have to stop! I'm making myself crazy!!!

That's nice you did a little shopping. I bought like 2 outfits, just because I wanted to 'confirm' that I had a little boy in there to myself. Silly huh?

Well good luck with the names, I think you should def. put up a survey, I always try and take a look at those. We're going for Patrick (something) My husband is Patrick John and I would like a PJ. He doesn't want a junior so we're just deciding on the middle name. So much fun!!

oh no problem dear, its been nice here too. it finally cooled down, thank god.

Mine is pretty active, usually giving me shots to the ribs lol oh mine keeps growing....im in school now and i can barely fit in the desks lol i feel HUGE! but oh well, i cant wait till shes here!

I'm glad you got to go shopping! I've been shopping like crazy myself! My mother-in-law bought our baby bedding for us! I've been sneaking in a few baby items every time I go to Wal-Mart for routine groceries and misc. stuff! I have bought a couple packs of diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, onesies, bibs, bottles, shoes, Baby Einstein DVD's, and a LOT more but I won't bore you!

My 3D/4D ultrasound is on July 25th at 1pm. Earlier that week my hubby and I are going to New Orleans for a veterinarian continuing education conference. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself while he's in meetings...I'll figure something out. Hopefully we're close to some shopping!!!

Nothing has been done with the nursery, since the house is still in the process of being built. My husband refuses to let me buy too much, knowing we're just going to have to move it in September to the NEW house.

Our little man has been kicking me like crazy! I LOVE it!!!! I've noticed if I eat or drink something sugary or with caffine he goes wild in there!

I'm job searching, I talked to the principal/superintendant at the school I was at this year and he told me he gave my job to another teacher (who it was her first year at the school also)!!!!!

The only reason he chose to give her the job was because she has a kid at the school which means money for the school!!!! Needless to say I'm not ecstatic with the situation! I know pregnancy is not supposed to have a bearing in wheather you're rehired or not, but I'm almost positive it's the reason he replaced me!! I may be a stay at home mom when our little one arrives!

Hey there...well the experience was awesome! We saw everything we could have wanted to..plus things we weren't sure of. It was great though. The tech was great and we were there ofr an hour. This was mainly because she couldn't get the last few shots, and she had to get another person to come in and try and get them. (He's stubborn already!)
So we were on a high as we went into the doctor's office to see him, then he said there might be a problem with my placenta. The cord may be attached to the side and not the middle as it should be. He said the tech couldn't get a good shot so they want me back in 3 weeks. He thinks it looks ok , but wants to check it again. If it is on the side, he said the good news is it's not on the side by my cervix, which is very dangerous. They would just monitor the baby because he will probably be small.
So.....I went from a super high to a super low real fast! But hopefully all is well and the tech just couldn't see it right. So keep your finger crossed for me, I go back on July 2nd.

Yes tomorrow is it!! I am so ready to see my little one! The office called and said the appt. would be 2 hrs. long... was your that long? Oh well, doesn't matter to me! My mom is super excited to findout what I'm having. My husband doesn't care. He would have gone for a surprise but too bad!
Now I'm getting worried about all the tests they do, and I'm sure I'll be up all night.
So is your daughter ready to be a big sis? That has to be a whole other part of your excitement...meeting your new baby and also introducing Rhianna to her lil sis... so cool! Ok I will talk to you soon, wish me luck! Krista

No problem about staying in touch, we all have busy lives! Vacation is going well so far...overall. I'm still left hanging on the job situation, so I don't know what to do! I looked at our budget last night, and we'll have to cut out a LOT, if I don't have a job!!!!! I heard through the grapevine yesterday that one of the other teachers who wasn't planning on coming back, IS now and is promised a pre-k job!!!!! SO, I don't know what the principal/superintendant is thinking!! I don't know if he's planning on her just replacing me, or if he's planning on moving me to another grade, or what!!!!!! I know I'm not supposed to be stressing right now, but there's no way around it!! I don't know what to do besides go look elsewhere for a job!!!!!!

Other than the stress of not knowing what the future holds, I'm feeling great! Our little boy is kicking a LOT, but he's not kicking outward toward my stomach. He keeps kicking downward at my bladder and cervix; which gets kindof painful at times and makes me need to pee a LOT. And he's not letting my husband feel the kicks, because they're inside downward instead of outward! My round ligaments, uterus, and abs are doing a LOT of stretching right now, which is slightly painful at times as well! I'm loving every minute though, knowing our little man is growing and my body is just trying to make room for him in there!!!

My next ultrasound is July 25th at the technology center about an hour away from my house. Also my doctor told me I'd have another ultrasound at the hospital here where I'm delivering, so just being curious I asked him when. He got a little snappy with me saying "LATER". I sarcastically said "Well I figured you'd give him some more time to grow." That was probably NOT the thing to say, oh well... He changed subjects and seemed to be OK. As we were walking out of his office, he said "it is neat getting a sonogram and seeing what you've been growing all this time" and he left it at that.

Hope you and your little princess had a great breakfast and are enjoying some mommy and daughter alone time! :) Keep me posted, as I will keep you posted.

Yes, me too! We've been working on the nursery lately. Everything is done for now except the dressers, which I oirdered yesterday and sould come in about 2-3 weeks. everything else I'll wait to do after the shower. How's yours coming?
Do you have any names picked out yet? Sorry if I already asked you, my memory is crap these days! Lol!
Are you excited about your appt on Thurs? I feel like the next couple will be no biggie now that we've had the ultrasound, you know?

I LOVE that my belly has FINALLY outgrown my boobs! My husband jokes that my boobs finally have something to hold them up, at least for the next few months.

I can't believe SO much time has passed! I got my hubby's father's day present today! Except I am HORRIBLE with surprises, I gave them to him already! I can't stand waiting! I got him some new shoes and a little onesie that is white w/ red stripes and says "Daddy's Team". It's precious! My hubby was excited and surprised! I had to go to Oklahoma City to get his shoes. He's been complaining about his back and feet, and I'm sure it's because he had worn the arch out of his shoes he has now. So the new ones were necessary, yet he wouldn't have spent the money on himself.

I still can't stop starring at my ultrasound pics! I LOVE our little man! I'm SO ready for our little pumpkin to have a name! The first question everyone asks after "Is it a girl or a boy?" is "Do you have a name for him?" We've gotta figure it out!!

Ricky's only felt our little man kick me once! He's active after my husband goes to sleep and when he's at work. I am drinking a Coke so hopefully he'll wake up and move so his daddy can feel him!

I'm HOT all the time as well!! I feel blessed though that I don't have to work right now, until school starts back in August!! I can stay inside all day if I want!

I'm like you when it comes to names. No matter what anyone says, your name effects your personality. Think of the name "George" or "Fred". Just not names that are UP THERE on my list. I want it to be perfect. Right now Ryan Mattew is still on the top of the list, unless we hear of something that we like better.

I like both Arianna and Alaina as well! Those are good names! My middle name is Elaine (which is close to Alaina).

I haven't bought a maternity swimsuit YET. However, the whole thought of swimsuits depress me because of my now SIZE F boobs. I can find bottoms NO PROB, it's just the tops that NEVER fit. My boobs are always flubbing out of them. It promises to be fun with HUGE boobs and now a BELLY! I may not be wearing a swimsuit this summer!

How's everything going? Haven't heard from you in a while. Just wanted to check up on you. I also wanted to tell you I posted new belly pics!

Can you or your hubby feel your little princess from the outside yet? Our little man isn't as active as he was there for a while! I think he's just getting lazy! He sleeps a lot. When he's active, he kicks a LOT!! Maybe he's just doing it while I sleep more. I woke up at 2am yesterday and his head was pushing SO hard against my left side. It hurt, but was neat at the same time. With where he was, there was NO WAY it could have been anything but his head.

Any names yet for your little princess? We're thinking Ryan Matthew Couch for our little man. What do you think?

Congratulations! Sorry...I have been on here like three times since yesterday and I swear I wrote you back! It's that pregnancy brain! Lol!
Isn't it amazing! Such a relief too, isn't it? As much as we want to think positive, we can't help but worry about our babies and if there may be soemthing wrong. Seeing him was a huge weight lifted from my shoulders!
I'm doing great! Getting ready little by little. Tomorrow I'll post the pix I took this morning of the room. I kind of put it back in order and put a few of the decals on the wall to see how they will look...so cute!
Have you chosen any bedding yet? I bet your lil girl is so excited to be a sister! My niece is still convinced I'm having a girl. I stopped by my mom's the other morning on the way to the train and she told me I'm having a girl. When I corrected her she yelled at me "No! a girl!" I told her sorry, maybe next time. She has her baby sister Kendall tho who is only 7 months old and her aunt on her dad's side is having a girl in August.

I still haven't quit staring at my ultrasound pics!! I take them with me everywhere I go in my purse, just incase I see someone I know. I'm a DORK!! :)

Our tech was AMAZING too!! I could have a 45 min plus ultrasound every day!! My doctor told me we'd have another ultrasound. I asked when and he kind of snapped at me saying "LATER". I'm not disappointed at all. He doesn't know I'm having another one at 28 wks. at the CHEAP place!! It doesn't matter to me when or if I get another one at my dr. knowing I'm going to definately have one on July 25th at the other place!!!

Things are going great with me!! The house is still at a standstill. I called our builder to tell him we found out we're having a boy!! Our builder told my husband that he confronted the concrete people because they didn't work after last Tuesday. They're working today at another house, that as soon as they get done with it they're doing ours. He's still promising it will be done in NO time! He is all about keeping his customers happy!

My little prince has been CRAZY in there! Everytime I eat or drink something sweet he goes nuts!! He's kicking like crazy! He definately has times he sleeps though luckily!! Yah, I've kindof quit using my doppler too since I know he's OK! When I do use it, he kicks it or punches it. It cracks me up! I'll be hearing his little hearbeat then BAM! He's so much fun already!! I can't wait until he's here! I can't wait to see what the dogs think about him! I'm SO HAPPY and in love!!!!

The little one is treating me well for now! I still feel the cute little somersaults it does! And i think it like grazes my stomach like comes to the surface of my tummy! Just weird cute feelings! Did you keep your daughters clothes so now you can give them to the next lil one? Have you thought of any names for this one. Im so excited for you guys that you have found out! Mine is the 24th im excited and nervous! Is its painful drinking all that water? What does your husband think of having another girl? i bet it doesnt matter much, i know my husband wants a boy sooner or later to pass his last name down! So im a little under pressure even thou it will be his fault if we dont have what he wants!lol Well im glad you know!
