week 8...

Hello! I am 8 weeks. I had my first u/s done on Dec 12th. I saw the little one and heard it's heart beat! I cried, it was very emotional for me! I feel so much better because I saw the baby! My husband and I are getting very excited to find out the sex of the baby. He wants a boy, and I will be happy with a healthy baby no matter the sex. I just have a sneaking suspision that I am having a girl! My sister is exactly 2 months ahead of me and she is having a boy! She wanted the girl and she knew my husband wanted the boy, so she says "yup your having a little girl"! I am feeling alot of nausea especially when my tummy empties. I am also very tired and worn out! Other then that I am great. I'm working full time and going to school part time. I hope this is ok for someone who is pregnant! I just can't seem to get enough sleep. My tummy is getting bigger. I think I look like I am 4 months along instead of 2! Oh well. I will post a pic of belly soon!

week 10...

Well, I am in week 10 now. Still having morning sickness. The all day sickness has subsided. Yup, every single morning I get sick. As soon as I have my bowl of mini-wheats I feel much better! I can't wait until week 13! I'm sure that's how all of us 10 weekers feel! My first prenatal appt is tomorrow. I'm very excited about that. I start school up again next week. I have to say I am nervous about that. I am in nursing school and things are getting alot harder. I'm afraid that I will have no energy to study or to even go to class. I work a full time job here at the hospital and it's hard to go to school at night after a hard day of work. I want to get school finished though. I want my husband and child proud of me! To be able to provide for my family means alot to me.

First Prenatal Appt...

So my prenatal appt was yesterday. 01/09/08. I have a rh o- blood type, which is really rare. I have to have shots starting at 28 weeks. My blood could be dangerous to the baby. Yikes! The appt went from good to not so good. I was confused and worried. The dr says not to worry I will have a normal pregnancy. I'm going to do some research on web md and get more info. For my own peace of mind! I guess my blood could recognize my fetus as foreign and reject it. The dr says that is rare but could happen. I'm a little scared but I trust in God that everything will be just fine!

Week 12....

Well, I'm now at week 12!!!!! Yea! I thank God that I have made it this far, and that my baby is safe. My sickness has almost completly gone away! I have my next Doc appt on Feb. 6th. I can't wait to hear my little one's heart beat! My tummy has gotton bigger. My uterus has rose above my pelvic bone now. My nails and my hair have really taken off!! If I could only stop bitting my nails! It's a nervous habbit! School has been good. I was worried about it but I have been studying hard and learning alot! I have been in the best of moods latley! Nothing can bring this momma down! I hope all of you are doing great. Lots of love to all!!!!

Week 18.......

Wow, I can't believe It's week 18 already! I have been so busy with school and work! The time is flying by! I feel so great! My belly has gotten so big! It's a constant comfort to look down and see my belly growing! I have my u/s scheduled in 2 weeks. I can't wait to find out what I am having! To be able to refer to my child as a he or she will be so awesome! I have been having bad spasms in my back the past 2 weeks. I pretty sure it's my syatic nerve. Other than that I feel great. I have alot of energy. I am going to Jamaica in 2 days! My husband and I are having a babymoon! Hee-hee. Actually our honey moon was cancelled due to hurricane Dean so we rescheduled for March. I didn't know I'd be preggers!!! Oh well that's ok! I get to flaunt my belly around Jamaica! I love my baby and think about it every second of the day!!! XOXOXOXO to my little one!

Week 22...

I am having a little girl! I went for my u/s this week and my little girl was so active! She was bouncing all over the place! The u/s tech couldn't get a solid pic of the labia but she said there is definitly no male parts! She's almost 100% sure that it's a baby girl! I love my little Ava Elizabeth soooooo much! I want her to alwayshave the best of everthing! I feel her kicking me very low all the time but that is because she is in breech. If she doesn't turn ion the last month I will have a scheduled u/s. I hope she turns I would really like to have a vaginal birth. I'm afraid if I have a c-section I will have to one for the rest of my future babies. I am praying that she will turn and everything will be fine. I know that God will protect her and me as well! Gosh, I am getting sooooo excited to have her!

Week 24...

i am 24 weeks and loving it! Although, my back is hurting alot lately. I have been having back pain and I don't like it! Besides that I am in a very good mood. Today it is nice outside and the sun is finely starting to shine! Michigan summers are the best! I have decided to take spring classes i'll be going 4 days a week yuck! But it's only for 8 weeks instead of 16 so I think I can handle that! If I do go in the spring I can take off the fall semester and be with my little one! I love her sooooo much she is kicking all the time and I love her to do it! She is up all night and even during the afternoon for a few hours! I'm afraid I am going to have a night owl! Oh well, I am just grateful that she is moving! iam starting to get very excited to have her. I start my baby classes in May and June. I just want to hold her already and tell her how much her mommy and daddy love her!

Week 27...

Wow, can't believe I'm in week 27. It feels like it's flying by now! I can feel Ava move every day. Her kicks are very strong! I love watching my belly move when she kicks! My husband and I are getting ready to do the nursery. I'm thinking pink and brown. I am getting a really nice bedroom furniture set for her as well from jcpenny. The color of the furniture will be white. I can't wait until every thing is all said and done. I want to see my little girl so bad! I love her so much. I already have a bunch of cute clothes and things that I have bought for her! I'd better stop and wait until after my shower. I have a feeling she's going to get alot of stuff! She's a;ready so spoiled! I love you baby Ava.

Week 30....

I am so ready to have this baby! It's week 30 and I feel HUGE! It's hard to sleep and walk and all that stuff! I can't see my private parts or my feet! I love my little one with all my heart but I do want to meet her and soon! Her dad and I have been working hard to get the house ready for her homecoming! Her nursery is painted and the new carpet is in! The next step is getting her baby furniture! Yea! That will be so much fun! Her kicks have been starting to hurt me. Before it was fun and cute but when she kicks sometimes it really hurts. Ouch! I have been cleaning and organizing the entire house. My husband woke up this weekend and put his hand on his chest and pretended to bounce a baby on it! He said "honey I can't wait to hold her and bounce her and give her kisses!" It was the absolute cutest thing ever!

Week 34....

Wow, I can't believe that my little girl is almost here! I can't wait to see her little hands and feet. I can't wait to smell her and kiss her. I can't wait to look upon her face for the first time. Her dad and I have everything prepared for her arrival as I think I am going to give birth towards the end of July and not in August. I have a feeling that it will be on July 28th. For some reason this date keeps popping into my head! I had my first baby shower last Friday from the girls at work! I had so much fun! I got allot of really nice stuff for Ava. I got her convertible car seat I registered for and allot of 6-9 month clothing that I really needed for her! I have so much summer 0-3 months that I'm afraid she won't get to wear it all. I am definitely addicted to all the pink little girls’ clothes and I can't seem to stop buying little church dresses! My mother has given me all of my little church dresses that I wore when I was an infant! They are so precious! I want my little girl to wear them all! I have been enjoying my new nephew Gage Charles as well. My sister gave birth to a beautiful little boy 3 weeks ago 8 lbs 10oz 21 inches long! I love him soooooo much he is so beautiful. I love helping my sister take care of him as it prepares me for my little girl! I am very comfortable with him and he seems to really connect with me. I am the only one who can sooth him right away. He's having allot of trouble pooping, also has collick and he has thrush! Poor baby boy! I just know that Ava and Gage will be best friends and I'm sure my Ava will get him all kinds of trouble! Well, I go for my appt tomorrow. To see if baby Ava has turned. Which I know she hasn't she is still transverse breech. In my birthing class they say that transverse breech babies are ALWAYS delivered cesarean. They don’t even try to manually turn the baby in this position. I keep praying that she is just having one of her mommy’s blonde moments and that she isn’t having her daddy’s stubborn moment!!!!! I love her whatever way she decides to come out!

Week 37 and 1/2-

Just wanted to up date my profile and tell you all that baby Ava will be here on July 22nd! She will be born 12 days early due to her being breech... Boy is she a stinker already! I love her even though is stubborn like her daddy! I can't wait to smell her and kiss her and touch her soft skin.. I want to meet her more than anything in th whole world! I love you baby Ava and we are on a one week count down...!!!!!

Just about the time you think you can't handle hearing one more "when is that baby going to pop?", your baby will decide to make it's appearance. We predict your baby will be born 3-7 days before its due date. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 8.0 pounds and that your labor will be about 12 hours long.
