9 weeks & 1 day ~ Mon. Sept. 29th, 2008 --- For whatever reason I am totally amazed about being in Week 9 already, DH and I were just talking about when we found out and how sureal it was at that time... but here we are getting closer to the 2nd trimester! It really does seem like my m/s & indigestion is easing quite a bit, I am still nauseas throughout the day but I have not thrown up in a week now and I am able to eat more than I was over the last couple weeks and thank goodness for that, honestly I don't think I will be eating a saltine cracker or drinking a gingerale in a very long time! Yesterday was a great time, getting together with the family is always so nice and we had a fantastic dinner, I was nervous I would not enjoy it because I was feeling nauseas as I was getting ready but I was fine by the time dinner got to the table and we had a very nice evening! I am still quite sleepy and I'm having some pretty bad nasal issues. I love that fall is here, the leaves are changing and it's just beautiful! Makayla and I will be decorating for Halloween on Friday after she gets out of school as it's tradition for all of us to participate in decorating for holidays, oh how the kids love it and so do we, I went a bit crazy this year, I always buy some new things each year to add even though Mike doesn't think I need to (of course) but let's just say we'll be looking very festive around here, lol! Well anyway, if this week goes by as fast as last week Ultrasound day will be here before we know it!... 8 days :)

9 weeks & 4 days ~ Thurs. Oct. 2nd, 2008 --- Well little Miss Makayla talked me into putting up the Halloween decorations earlier than we planned and I couldn't help but give in :) So we have them up and it's feeling like Halloween, how exciting! I love this time of the year, Halloween is fun and it starts the "holiday season". We have already began planning Thanksgiving but I'm a total planner therefore can't help it, but we have family flying in again this year so there is always the details to work out and the earlier the better.... funny how pregnancy... well hormones... make me feel stressed out over silly little things... I catch Mike laughing at me and of course it upsets me but I'm sure from his perspective it probably is but it's so confusing sometimes how I'm feeling... good, grumpy, fabulous, annoyed, happy... all in a short period of time?! Anyway this week aside from my ever changing mood has been pretty good, I've been quite stressed over some stuff at work but otherwise my nausea has improved so much and I'm eating good, maybe too good LOL. I swear I'm feeling little baby movements already... I was trying to convince myself at first a few days ago it wasn't possible but they continue everyday and just here and there...little flutters & this is my 3rd so I know the diff. between gas and flutters so I checked with some other ladies on their 3rd or more and they confirmed it's possible! Gosh it sure feels like it and I get excited! Probably won't be back to update until Ultrasound day, finally Tuesday is almost here, woohoo! Have a lovely weekend ladies!

~ 10 Weeks ~ You are already a quarter of the way through your pregnancy and your baby will now be getting all his/her nutrients from you. Facial features include an evolving profile with a large forehead and button nose. All internal organs are present; the skeleton is complete, but still formed from cartilage. Your baby's heart now pumps blood around his/her body. The stomach is developing and being connected to his/her mouth and the cells that will become the brain continue to multiply rapidly. Your baby's taste buds are developing. There are distinct fingers and toes and the inner ear and eyes are formed, but the eyelids are still sealed. More bone and muscle tissue continues to be laid down and the external sex organs have begun to form. Your baby is about the length of your little finger.

10 weeks & 2 days ~ Oct. 7th, 2008 --- As I've been talking about over my last few posts, today is our 2nd appointment and ultrasound! Here I've been counting down the days and now I'm only left with hours, I can't hardly wait now that it's this afternoon! Anyway I am a mixture of nervous and excited though, I had a weird dream about it lastnight, the baby wouldn't move but there was a heartbeat so they said something was wrong and things were crazy, not a pleasant dream and of course in pregnancy they seem so real! I know I had the dream based off the anxiety I already had over the last couple days as we got closer... just the typical what if's and I hate those but can't seem to avoid them even more lately and I'm further into my pregnancy so go figure?! Michael and the kids are coming this time to the ultrasound and they are so excited, it's so cute! Kayla says she is going to see what the baby is (gender wise) but won't tell us she says, lol, she's just so cute about this pregnancy I can't get over it! They are both very excited to become a big sissy again and big brother! 10 weeks is feeling great on top of all the excitement of today... nausea is very random now and not everyday, YAY! I have some pretty bad nasal issues going on and I'm having some headaches but otherwise it's the typical minor things... peeing alot still, not getting comfy at night (I don't sleep well these days) and so I'm still quite tired alot of the day, I seem to get little spurts of energy over the last few days but that's it! Breaking out and the mood swings are not as tolerable but all part of it so I'm trying to manage! Well I'll be back with an actual blog post and pics later today... Have a great day ladies!

10 weeks & 5 days ~ Oct. 10th, 2008 --- Still feeling pretty good as I round out week 10, I can't believe how close to my 2nd trimester I am! I am convinced I feel baby already, there is no longer any doubt left... yesterday all day I felt little flutters, they are very little but they remind me of what I began feeling with my first at around 18-19 weeks and around 13 weeks with my son and now my 3rd in week 10 awww.... I just love being pregnant! Just looking forward to the kicks getting stronger and the best is when baby gets hiccups, both my first 2 got them quite often in the womb and it's so cute!!! I am still struggling with lack of energy but manage to pull it together to get things done! All the other things going on are those that will stick around through the rest of the pregnancy... indigestion, breaking out, peeing alot, mood swings, nasal issues, etc.! Hope everyone has a good weekend and I'll be back in Week 11... after tomorrow I'll be 11 weeks, WOW!

~ 11 Weeks ~

Your baby is growing quickly at the moment. You still cannot tell the gender of your baby from a scan, as the sex organs aren't visible externally yet. Your baby will start to produce testosterone if it's a boy. Your baby's skin, in two layers, is transparent and covered with a fine down. The lungs, although developing, are still very immature. Your baby can suck and swallow and is able to move freely in the liquid surrounding him or her. The intestines are already able to process the liquid that the baby is swallowing. Your baby would now fit into the palm of your hand. All the major body organs have formed and the most critical period in development has passed. The foetus can kick, punch and arch her body. Your baby can flex her fingers, form a fist and wrinkle her forehead.
