What `s happenin `?Well here `s a little info about myself. I `m very young, seventeen to be exact. I `m a teen mother, and not ashamed of it. I know what i `ve got myself into and i `m not afraid of the consequences. My children are not a burden, they are a gift from God. I thank him everyday for giving me the chance to be a mother.

Today I had an appointment at 10:30 a.m., but I arrived half an hour early because I went and talked with Lindsay (a counselor) me and my son see from a really good program called Healthy Steps that I enrolled my son in since he was born. She's a real nice person and i'm meeting with her every two weeks after my appointments. We just talked about a few concerns that I have about my son, and the arrival of the new baby. What I like about her is that she understands me, and always tries to find ways to help me out. Which is really nice of her, considering she has alot of other patients in the same or worse situations as i'm going through. We're going to meet again after my next appointment.
I then went on to see my midwife which by the way seemed like forever before I actually got in a room. Finally 30 minutes later, my midwife came in, checked the baby's heart and also checked to see what position he was in. He's still not head first, so he's in what they call a breech position with his butt first. If he doesn't start turning soon we might have to go through an ECV to try and manually guide him so that he turns. I'm hoping he turns by himself though, because i've had the procedure done before and let me tell you it is painful! =( With my first I had it done because he too was breech but they never got to turn him because he was too stubborn. And still to this day he's still a stubborn kid!lol So with him I had a cesarean section at 39 weeks and luckily everything turned out fine. I'm just not looking forward to the recovery process now that I already have a tod. to take care of. I guess i'll just put my fate in God's hands and I'm sure he knows whats best for me.We'll see what happens.
