My name is Misty. I just recently got married to my high school sweetheart of 7 yrs. on August 4, 2007. He completes me! We have always wanted children and we definately had no problems getting started. I had been taking the pill for almost 2 yrs. and I stopped taking it December 22, 2007 and found out that I was pregnant February 23, 2008. We are so blessed!! The feeling of a little miracle growing inside me is undescribable. It is the best! This baby will be the first grandchild for both sides so everyone is beyond themselves. It will be one spoiled kid lol. We are just counting down the days till we are able to hold this bundle of love. I wish everyone the best with their pregnancy!

March 24, 2008~ My husband and I went for my first prenatal visit today. Had a lovely pap smear done. After all that agony, we had an ultrasound done. It was such a special moment to hear the baby`s heartbeat for the first time. It`s def. a strong one beating at 169 bpm. Everything looked good for the baby. Very thankful that I have such a suppotive husband who is very involved with our pregnancy.

April 2, 2008~ Went to the doctor's office yesterday just for an RN visit. Had what seemed like all my blood drained out of me lol. Found out that I have lost 3 lbs. since becoming pregnant, which disappointed me. The nurse said that was normal for some women to flucuate like that. I'm sure the weight will start showing up before too long. Have a visit with the doctor April 16th so looking forward to that.

April 16, 2008~Had a check up today. My husband was off work to go with me which always makes me happy. I had gained my weight back that I had lost from the previous weeks due to m/s. We got to hear the baby's heartbeat again and it's stayin at 169 bpm. My mom was in visiting us so she got to hear it too. It felt really good to include her and I know it makes her even more excited about being a grandmother. In about a month we can find out what we're having!! So excited!!

May 1, 2008~GREAT NEWS!! My best friend Ashleigh called me today and told me that she was finally pregnant!! Her and her husband have been TTC since September 2007. I just started crying when she told me the news. I was hoping and praying that my best friend would be pregnant the same time I was so we could share our fears, tears, and happiness together. Her due date is Jan. 11th just a few months after I give birth. We both got married the same year and we were each other's maids of honor so having babies around the same time will top it off. She is more like a sister to me than my best friend. I am very thankful to have her in my life. Congrats Nick & Ashleigh!!

May 16, 2008~We had another check-up today before we have to move. Everything went great. The baby's heartbeat was 160 bpm and the doctor said it was good. I asked when we could find out what we're having and she said when 18 wks which will be May 30th. We have to be at my husband's new duty station June 1st. The woman who does the ultrasounds is only there on Mondays but our doctor said if we wanted to come in on the 30th she would do the ultrasound herself. I thought that was very nice and sweet of her. We want to know so bad!! Hopefully everything will work out so we can find out before we have to move.

July 2, 2008~ ULTRASOUND DAY!! Our little one sure is stubborn. The doc was making sure everything was ok before he would tell us what we were having. He showed us the baby in 3D which was just amazing...we could only see half of our baby's face...he's already camera shy lol. Finally, the doc tried to see between the legs and the baby wasn't going to let us look. We were just about to give up when it finally opened up it's legs and the doc said, "It's a boy!" I just burst out in tears and so did my husband. It feels so amazing to know that we're having our little boy and he's healthy. God is Great!!
