Tuesday, 22 April Hi, I'm 44 and 27 weeks preggo (with a little help from a fertility Dr.). Anyways, I was watching one of those baby shows on TV yesterday and there was a man who had zero sperm in his ejaculate but the DR. was able to get a few from his balls and he individually inserted them into eggs (it's called ixy or something like that). So even if your husband does has some problems, you could still get pregnant. Good luck niseybear -
Tuesday, 22 April How are you lady? I have new pictures of Mo on my page if you're interested. New update also. Be blessed. riknlee -
Tuesday, 15 April you hit the nail on the head. ego is all it is. A man and his sperm are closely related. Man likes to know his sperm is capable of getting you pregnant. it is his territory. I also got hubby on vitamins and me too. good luck with it. My advice; just have fun and dont stress about conceiving. Do it morning and night. You can check out a website called fertility friend. for free you can track your cycle through temperature and other signs. Worked for me snoogy -

Friday, 11 April Love the story of your parrot..thats great!!..and knowing your body as you do is half the battle...at 30 I was diagnosed with PCOS and told I would NEVER get pregnant naturally..went on tamoxifen for 2mths and hated it..felt out of sync...so gave it up...a few years later at 33 I really got my diet in order..gave up cigarettes/alchol/marijuanna/ moved to the country, organic food/clean fresh water (still ate sugar!!) wnet thru emotional upheavals...looked deep within at my disconnection from my personal story of being taken from my mother as baby...found her at 33 and conceived 6mths later!!! Was a big shock...and as you say leaving it in Gods hands...we have a saying in arabic meaning just that "INSHALLAH"...and give some of our control to the divine spirit!!! I think you will enjoy my book, Dance of the Womb, I have been teaching bellydance for pregnancy for last 10 years and in +June release my world first book..u can check out my website
www.bellydanceforbirth.com
I tell much about my story in my book....our experiences are all so perfect!!!!
and thanks for comment on my pic....xx maha55 -
Friday, 11 April Hi..I was just reading on your post re the lady writing about fertile period days..its interesting bec I was always told you have always ovulated 14 days counting back from a period..my cycles weer shortened to 24 - 26 days, so I subtract 14 days which means I would ovulate days 10/11/12 but this baby I conceived day 7!!!..straight after end of period....I had a suspicion that waiting those extra days was too long..I suggest try a mth or two straight after end of period every 2nd day say day 6 to 14ish just to be sure....early ovulation as one gets older is a possibility as well as not ovulating EVERY month....that too can happen....and out of 300million sperm it only takes ONE...I think unless the man has severe low count or abnormality you can still get pregnant..start with diet and vitamins (does he smoke and drink and coffee...??) that can have adverse effects on sperm too..gotta try and be optimal health but build up gradually and give the space and time for this say 3mths of NO PRESSURE..relax and let go....you can still conceive bec you have a period....I think time to create space for love and bonding together..my partner and I were TRYING for a year till Dec last..I had all the dissapointment etc etc when period came..then I just said LET IT ALL GO!! and got pregnant January!!...and I heard people tell me the same, until I stopped resisting TRYING and WORRYING.......breathe and surrender xxx ragtopgirl -

Wednesday, 9 April Hi,
I'm 41 and just had my first baby 9 weeks ago with my husband. Don't give up. I had the blood tests that told us I was ok and hubby went and spit in the cup( for lack of a better word) hahaha before the results came back , we were preggo.
You can tell him that there are so many factors that the finger isnt pointed at him. Take the pressure off and tell a little white lie that they have to check other factors on you too.....the truth as you know is sometimes our eggs are old,and sometimes his spermies walk instead of sprint, so there are alot of ways to get around all that. But you have to know what you're dealing with to move forward.
This may be TMI info- but this is what my Dr. told me to get pregnant and it seemed to work: ( by the way, my husbads sperm were slow and this still worked)
1. Don't have sex every day, (only a couple times a week at most) They have to build up in numbers...
2. Do not get up right away after sex. LAy in bed on your back with you hips tilted up a bit and just talk. This gives them time to swim using gravity. Without wiping away in the bathroom.
3. MAke sure that you are doing it during the 72 hour window that you ovulate. ( Take the anticipated first day of the next period that you are going to have and count backwards 11-14 days. This is your window. The key is to have the little guys running around during this 72 hour window...
So if your period will start on the 15th of the month you are most fertile on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of the month)
Hope this helps, There is only a very short wondow every month to get preggo, so let your hubby know that if you guys aren't hitting it during that window- it does not matter if his spermies are fast or if you eggs are old...... niseybear -
Wednesday, 9 April Thanks for sharing such intimate things with me. I will definitely keep my eye on you. I was blessed to get pregnant so quickly. It even surprised my OB how quickly it happened. I told her it was all G-d. HE felt that hubby and I were ready and I'm glad HE did. You'll have your time too...just believe. Be blessed! maha55 -
Wednesday, 9 April Hi I read your post..I am pregnant at 45 with baby no. 3 and with a new partner (my older boys are 8 and 11)...
I am sorry that your husband has run but give him time to proces the idea...and tell him my partner was v hesitant as well...I got him started on good antioxidants, COq10, zinc, B vit before we did sperm tests (sperm renews every 3mths) so maybe try that less invasive approach first, he will begin to feel more energy and stronger and may agree to do test....my partner had a low sperm count in first test..we stayed on vitamins, eliminated sugar, got a bit more healthy and 5 mths later whoah LOTS of sperm!!!!..the 4 myhs later pregnant (a;llin a year)..now that I am pregnant he has slackened off but I dont mind so much bec we conceived..all best..keep me posted x Leave a message for pussycat in the right column where it reads `Add comment`
