i was dialated to 3cm and he said i was really thinning. i was also having small cramps. i was in labor for about seventeen hours. they broke my water when i hit 5 cm (after about 14 hours) and then things started progressing. sorry about the short story i was breast feeding her at the time and she is so distracting lol . i hope this helps. if i didnt answer your question or you have any others just let me know and i would be happy to answer! btw if your worried about birth, and your getting the epideral, dont be. the epideral slowes things down but i think it was worth it and i didnt even feel her come out! i couldnt have asked for a better labor or delivery. and dont rush things he/she will come when they're ready!

So do you have hemorrhoids like me?? They freaking suck! What are you doing for them? The midwife told me that the baby is low and right between my legs that it probably is causing pressure on my butt.....She also said that lots of women get them when they push from the pressure. She hopes that they will go away because if I don't get rid of them now they will be 10 times worse...I am so not ready for that!!!!

I think your baby has definately dropped if the doctor felt the head - it can't get any lower than that without coming out! I dropped a few weeks ago and my doctor felt the baby's head today.

lol. it was pretty easy since my baby slept through most of it but they do have alot of restrictions on what you can and can not take on the plane. You cant take alot of water for formula on the plane so i just took the ready to eat cans that enfamil makes. They also need to know if you have baby formula packed in any of your bags. Well when it gets closer i can give you a site where you can read what you can and cant take with you.

hi, i saw that you will be taking a trip with your baby, if you need any advice just ask me. My baby and i had to take a plane when he was about six weeks old so i can tell you what i did if you like

Yep, I'm very familiar with the Phoenix Spouses. Mine is great, but she lives off-base. I also have phone numbers of people I can call at the squadron. It's really not an emergency, I guess, but it would be HIGHLY inconvenient. Thanks for all your helpful suggestions! Which base are you guys on? We're at McChord.

Hiccups are nothing to worry about. I was once told all it means is he/she is practicing breathing. So, it's a good sign, not a bad one! :)

In theory you can go at any time, but you really should be good to go =)

My baby is pushing on my bladder some days too. hes all over the place in there! sometimes i feel him hitting just above my belly button and sometimes it feels like hes putting all his wait on my bladder. I think what your feeling is normal.

jesstew - Monday, 5 May
Yes they can. I feel my little man mainly low, but now that he's getting so long I can feel his hands and stuff moving down low by my blatter and feel him kicking up in my ribs at the same time.

ready - Monday, 3 Mar
When I lay on my back I can feel my baby move to the surface of my tummy. When I lay on my left side I feel the baby move to my left surface of my tummy. It normally doesn't go to the right of my tummy. I'm not sure if it will for for you but, you could always try.
