My name is Raechelle. I am 22 years old. My boyfriend of 6 years is Richard. We have 1 child. His name is Trey. He is now 13 months. I have been lingering around this site reading all the posts for about 3 weeks and today i decided to become a member. I found out that I was pregnant again on March 6 2008. I have a history of m/c so I am very nervous. I am guessing that i am about 7 weeks pregnant. I am not sure because my last af was jan 11 2008 and i concieved while breastfeeding. which means i was very irregular. I took hpt starting about mid february because my af did not return they all came out negative. on 3/6/08 i tested again it was a faint positive. Thats why i figured im 7 weeks assuming that my positive was around 4 weeks. I go to my ob april 15th so thats when i will know exactly how far along i am.
April 15th
I went to my first appt. today. I saw the heartbeat! what a relief! It was amazing. I am so in love with this little one already. Doctor said everything looks great. I get to do another u/s at my next appt. may 13th. He estimated my due date between the 14th and the 16th. At my next visit he will be able to be more exact about it. I guess that is the only good thing about not knowing when you concieved. you get more u/s. cant wait till my next appt.

21.8 hours ago So I woke up this morning w/ my first spat of m/s...it was horrible, I puked like 6 times (tmi) but needless to say I didn't make it to my appt. I was so upset, but couldn't even lift my head. I rescheduled for monday so I will let ya know. Hammergirl -
29 hours ago Raechelle...I would check with your doc about the juice and sweets. A close friend of mine had the same cravings and it turned out she had gestational diabetes. Nothing to be alarmed about, just to be aware of. It won't harm you or your baby, it just means you may need to watch your blood sugar levels. My sister in law also had gestational diabetes but only with her 3d baby, not the first two. So, I don't think past history really matters for much. Good luck! elishadesi -

Thursday, 15 May lucky, you've had more than one u/s? I can't wait till we get ours. At the next app. May 28th we'll get paperwork to make the u/s app. at another clinic hopefully they aren't booked out too far. We did hear the heart beat last visit, it was such a relief and actual evidence to make it seem more real. ali-with-B3 -
Thursday, 15 May It's too bad there's negativity where all you're trying to do is the best for your child. It's almost like your forced to lie to them to get them off your back. You can continue your night feed and no one will be the wiser! Baby will get his needs met and you'll get your peace. Weening at 18 months + is soooo much easier than at one year. I could not even imagine trying it. I imagine it would have had to be to a bottle where at 18 months it's straight to a cup. Good to hear your hubby is in your court though; he's one smart man- you never side with the rest of the family/always with your wife if you know what's good for you!!! hee hee. Best of luck with whatever you decide to do! charrio -
Wednesday, 14 May Hey there. Glad to see your still going strong. Hope your well in yourself, x ali-with-B3 -
Wednesday, 14 May I weaned both my sons at 20 months and tried before a few times with each. I found that when the physiological need to suckel weaned the child was easier to wean from the breast- they were ready in their mind so they didn't fight me on it as much. If your son is clinging to one feed a day, and it's not too much for you, then let him have it for now. Just a suggestion that worked for me. I'm so happy for you that you saw your baby!! I'm still waiting for my doppler. dsmrwtnttn -
Monday, 12 May Her daddy suggested both names actually. He found Aeon when he wiki searched Chronos. Chronos was a name he kind of liked for a boy (that I would not allow! lol). Something about Father Time... Aeon was mentioned in the article as meaning "eternal time".
Good luck at your ultrasound this week! They're SO fun, aren't they? I wish I could get another, but Aeon is a textbook case, so she doesn't need one it seems. :) Which I'm quite grateful for! I'll just have to be patient the next 12 weeks so I can see her then! dsmrwtnttn -
Friday, 9 May Actually, I'm having a little girl. We're super excited because everyone else we know has had boys. Her name is Aeon Elyse.
Are you hoping for a boy or a girl? colesmommy -
Friday, 9 May I thought that I was crazy but for the last three days I have been feeling "little butterflies" too. It is good to see that I am not alone..This is my second pregnancy and I did not feel my son until 19 wks. How exciting!! marily -

Thursday, 8 May See... I was going to do that, but my cycles were always off from one month to the next and I have no idea how many days my last one was. So, I figured .. why bother... ya know? It seems like everyone is being told they're having boys.. and then they end up popping out girls. I have had so many people telling me that they think I'll have a boy. Maybe that's why it was a boy in my dream.... between my husband and everyone else, it's like it's being drilled into my head. I know without a doubt that I will love them no matter what, but a girl would be sooooooo nice! erica78 -
Thursday, 8 May Well, it's good to know that not everyone experiences the breastfeeding nightmares you hear about. Oh, you bought pink shoes, how completely adorable!! I really hope you get to keep them too! I know your son is still pretty small, but does he have any idea what's going on in your belly yet?? Ya know, either way you think about it.... having a boy first is cool because if you have a girl then he can be the protective older brother, and if you have a boy then he will have a little partner in crime to play with and they can drive you crazy all day long!! LOL. :-) kah1675 -
Wednesday, 7 May Thanks Raechelle for the words of encouragement!!!!
I'm 10 weeks now. Maybe I'll end up having him/her a week or two early anyways ya never know. Yes, 171 is a good strong heartbeat! Fingers crossed every day!
Hope you are feeling well. I'm hungry now.. ttyl erica78 -
Wednesday, 7 May Does it really hurt as much as they say when the baby breastfeeds?? We should know in about a month or two what we're having.. and I'll keep my fingers crossed that we'll both be having a girl! I think I heard that anywhere between 16-20 weeks they can determine gender. Have you bought anything for the baby yet?? I was waiting til I got to 12 weeks, which will be tomorrow.... YEAH!!!!!! I do have a few things that I have bought over the years for when I did have a baby.. but nothing really specific to this little peanut in my belly. Well, I did buy a Curious George stuffed animal... he's wearing striped PJ's and he's poseable... really cute. Other than that.. I think I'll wait to buy most things until I find out whether it's a girl/boy. erica78 -
Tuesday, 6 May Your crappy symptoms.... are they entirely baby related, or do you have allergies/sinus issues? Congrats to your bf and her new little girl... that's awesome. God, I want a girl soooo bad! I did however have a dream last night and I had the baby already.. and I'm almost positive it was a boy... and I was a bad mom cause I forgot to feed him for an entire day because I forgot that I had a baby! What kind of messed up crap is that??? Then when I tried to feed him, he didn't want to nurse like he was supposed to. It was just plain weird.. and so I'm hoping it was just my brain working overtime and that I have a girl that I don't forget to feed and that she latches onto the boob like an ol' pro! LOL. You know I probably would have cried just like you did... I cry when I watch a TLC and someone has a baby. I hear babies cry here at work and I can't help but imagine what my baby will sound like.. and then I rub my belly. I have some wicked indegestion right now, it's making me miserable and I have some gum that i can chew, but it's the fruity kind.. and i don't want it... I want something minty. :-( I'm supposed to go and work out tonight at the Y.. and let me tell you, that's the last thing that I feel like doing. I just wanna go home and snuggle with my dogs and sleep til' my husband gets home from work.... cause the minute he does, he's going to wake me up and start bothering me. Oh, well.... tis' life! :-) Leave a message for raechelle in the right column where it reads `Add comment`
