It's A GIRL!!!

My name is Raechelle. I am 22 years old. My boyfriend of 6 years is Richard. We have 1 child. His name is Trey. He is now 13 months. I have been lingering around this site reading all the posts for about 3 weeks and today i decided to become a member. I found out that I was pregnant again on March 6 2008. I have a history of m/c so I am very nervous. I am guessing that i am about 7 weeks pregnant. I am not sure because my last af was jan 11 2008 and i concieved while breastfeeding. which means i was very irregular. I took hpt starting about mid february because my af did not return they all came out negative. on 3/6/08 i tested again it was a faint positive. Thats why i figured im 7 weeks assuming that my positive was around 4 weeks. I go to my ob april 15th so thats when i will know exactly how far along i am.

April 15th

I went to my first appt. today. I saw the heartbeat! what a relief! It was amazing. I am so in love with this little one already. Doctor said everything looks great. I get to do another u/s at my next appt. may 13th. He estimated my due date between the 14th and the 16th. At my next visit he will be able to be more exact about it. I guess that is the only good thing about not knowing when you concieved. you get more u/s. cant wait till my next appt.

i posted some of the pics from my 2d3d u/s at 16 weeks they are terrible because i had to take a picture of the pictures i printed. the disk that has all of the pics on it is not in the right format for my computer. i took it to walgreens and they printed all of them off of it. so here is a few of them if you want to take a look. it is the last pictures on my photos

I just wanted to give everyone an update: I talked with alot of you abot my terrible appt with my midwife ( she was real nasty to me) last Tues and that the u/s report stated that they weren't able to get a good look at my babys entire head, so of course I worried that something was wrong with my babys head. I had my u/s this morning and everything is good (his head is completely normal) I was worrying myself for no reason. Also, my midwife wasn't so nasty to me today; I mentioned to her about the sharp pains in my cervix and she told me not to worry unless I was having strong contraction like pains. She offered to check me but said that checking sometimes causes more problems and irritates the cervix, so I did not get checked. I only worry about preterm labor because I was dilated 1 1/2 cm and contracting at 22 weeks with my first son; I was given medication and Iv fliuds and the labor did not progress. Anyhow, now that my u/s has proven my baby to be healthy I can finally quit stressing. I was just told to take it easy and not overdue myself as far as walking and activities are concerned. Thank you for listening to my complaints.lol. I was just stressing about the head issue way too much.

I usually feel the movement very low, too. Occasionally, I'll feel it around, or underneath my belly button, but most of the time it's a lot lower. Guess they like to hang out there??

that is very cute.. my bf's middle names is Wayne also. My mother mentioned the name Noah. So far we have it narrowed down to Aiden, Carson, Noah..and still trying to find more names. It's difficult!

they don't think it's worth it to try to stop contraction before 23 or 24 wks. I was in the hospital having contractions 3 days ago and the nurse told me if I was having contractions that early maybe it wasn't meant to be and they would not try to stop it with meds. thank God the contractions stop after a bag of IV, i was just dehydrated

Yes, we have two boys and thought the news we are having another boy would be somewhat repetative if not dissapointing. We know from experience that sex means little once you meet your little person, because each is so different, so we thought we'd focus on that and let the rest be a delivery day surprise!
I do admit it's difficult preparing for the baby without knowing the sex. I see deals on cute baby clothes but don't buy because I don't want my little girl in all yellow or blue and I definately don't want my little boy in pink. I'll just have to wait for this one.
You shopping up a storm now? There is this stroller I will probably buy on ebay called "phil and ted". They seat two in a whole new way. Check it out as you'll need a double stroller also.
