Awwwww! That is the puppy that I want to get! Is that a jack russel terrier? He's just too cute! I'm gonna get a puppy soon, and he will look just like that! MamaMissy -
Monday, 5 May I actually went into L&D with that problem. They said it's just pressure on certain nerve endings. I'm in so much pain too though! I can't sit, can't move, can't walk - without hurting. Oh... at least we're getting so close! branbug -

Tuesday, 29 April Hello raerae - It sounds to me like you might have pregnancy related Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. It's quite common later in pregnancy and is due to fluid retention causing pressure on the wrist nerves. I have had it for the past month and my miwife advised wearing a splint to keep the wrist as straight as possible in order to eliviate the pressure and it has def helped me!!! It is a horrible feeling - like beyond pains and needles and numbness and bordering on damn painful!!!! My midwife also assured me it should pass once the baby is here. I hope this helps - good luck - hope you feel better soon. x x branbug -

Sunday, 27 April No honey not at all, it was NOT your fault! I am not going to write a novel like you know who.... simply wanted to let you did not have any fault in anything and I hope you have a great delivery! KevinsMilf08 -
Sunday, 27 April No need to apologize in the forum for your post. You didn't know that Laura Ward asked everyone to stop the induction topic. I apologize if I offended you by giving you my opinion privately on your profile. I'm just glad to see another mom questioning what's truly best for herself and her baby - Selfless Act #1 of Motherhood. You're responsibility is comendable. I want to encourage that act whenever possible. So keep it up and again, go with your gut feelings! babyboi3 -
Sunday, 27 April This is your first? And it's a boy!! Cool. I have 2 boys AND another boy on the way. They are fun!! Don't be sorry about the induction thing, you didn't know!! :) Also, if you ever have any questions about boys, just ask... :) Good luck with your little guy!! KevinsMilf08 -
Saturday, 26 April You are RIGHT ON with the induction info you've shared in week 38. Go with what your gut tells you about how nature works. The ladies who are getting induced for convenience's sake are messing with something that could pose problems for them and their babies. Doing something just because a doctor says you can so is crazy to me. Let nature take it's course. Trust your opinion on that subject, sweetie - you are absolutely right! But, fyi, inductions can't really be discussed in week 38 per the site administrator, so just be careful about that. Good luck and lots of NATURAL labor dust to you mamma!! yvobreske -
Saturday, 26 April Hey raerae her post said something to the affect of she didn't want anyone discussing this touchy subject anymore. People have been getting into arguments online then running the people that run the site to complain. Lots of drama LOL trust me you didn't miss anything! if you go through the messages through week 38 I am sure you will find the fights. As far as being induced if the Dr is giving the you the opportunity to its totally your call. Me personally I really dont enjoy being pregnant and since I am already 3 cm and 75% effaced the Dr said it would be easy to induce me meaning get my labor started. I was induced with my first but because I had preeclampsia. It was a wonderful experience and I am looking foward to doing it again. So thats what I got LOL :) I'm here if you have any other questions......... Hope your delivery goes great!! OurBabyBean0508 -
Friday, 18 April The thing about labor is, yeah it hurts and it feels like you're going to be in pain forever but... you're not. It's temporary, as long as you keep it in your mind that "this will all be over soon" then you'll be fine. With my first I think I made my labor that much worse because I didn't know what to expect, I was just dealing with each moment and each contraction and when they started getting to be too much for me to handle I wasn't able to step back and say "this is going to be over soon", so I panicked, kept thinking it would just keep getting worse and worse and the pain would never stop (and I was in labor for 37 hours!). Fear is a BIG contributor to your pain level. If you're able to keep the goal (sweet baby!) in mind and center / calm yourself between contractions then you will have a much easier, MUCH more enjoyable labor AND a faster birth! Good luck doll and congratulations! mercy -
Friday, 18 April It's fine to be a little scared, but you should know in your heart everything will be fine. With all the technology today, pain relievers, and mediation breathing exercises -you're more then guaranteed to be fine. You put it best -mind over matter.
