Well, here I am. I finally found a positive site to chat on and have met lots of great people so far! It's great to share this pregnancy, compare stories and doctor's appts, and know that my prego symptoms are no different than others!!
We are happily expecting twins who will be joining our 4-yr-old son!! I'm looking forward to talking with others with older children, high-risk pregnancies, IVF babies, twin pregnancies and those due in the next 6-8 months!!! Congrats to all!!

Tuesday, 11 November Hello again! When I delivered my first Troy couldnt take women who were less then 34 weeks. Then with my second they moved it to 32 weeks and now they are able to deliver 30 weeks and beyond. My doctor said that their hope is to reach 28 weeks by the spring. I guess they are transitioning into a NICU and not just a Special Care. She said they are really well equipped so if we make it to 35 weeks I'm not to worried. My docs HATE delivering at R.O. they will only do it when the NICU is going to be necessary...I dont blame them, I dont like it either. We have school of choice out here...We can pick from chesterfield, new haven or lenox schools. New Haven has a brand new elementary school so we were thinking about that, but our oldest doesnt even start pre-school for two years so I guess we have some time to decide! God,I'm going to have my hands full! A two year old, a 14 month old and an infant! What were we thinking! ? (LOL) How are the contractions and everything today? I hope they stop for you...I hate being in the hospital, but its almost worth it when you have little ones at home! Have they given you estimated weights on the babies lately? At my 28 week scan they said my little guy was 2 lbs 9ozs. Hope all is well...keep us posted! ktpregers -
Tuesday, 11 November Sorry to hear that, but a week home is better than none and it sounds like you are doing ok now so that is good. How much do they trust the fib. test? I mean is it pretty reliable? keep your spirits up! I really believe in PMA helping situations. Madeleine -
Tuesday, 11 November Sorry to hear you back in hospital again....It must be terrible. I really pray that all goes well and that you will be home soon. I'm doing fine. Just struggling with back pain and getting comfortable at night. But rather that then also going back to hospital. And if all goes well everything will be over in one months time. Has the dr scheduled your c-section for 34 week or are you going to see how it goes after that? babystuff -
