I am 29 and expecting my second daughter and I'm thrilled!!!

I am happily married and have been for 6 years and have been friends with my husband for the last 20 years. We actually "dated" when he was 11 and I was 9 but I "dumped" him for calling me mooshy gross names. LOL He has 2 kids from a previous relationship that are 12 (his son) and 11 (his daughter) and we have a 2 year old little girl together. All kids are very excited to be having a new edition and we are happy to soon be a busy yet happy family of 6!! Although my husband and stepson were hoping for a little boy at first, we are thrilled to be getting another little girl!

We had to have an emergency C-section with our first daughter so we have opted for another one this time and it is scheduled for October 20th at 10am! We are very excited to get to meet our little darling even earlier than we had anticipated since I will only be 37 weeks and 3 days at that time.

I was pulled from work on July 21st because I am a severe asthmatic and my breathing got out of control. They also discovered that I have a growth on my liver which is causing me some pain and some digestive problems. It's nothing to worry about and they said it should go away after the pregnancy. Needless to say, I am happy to have had these last few weeks at home with my daughter before our new arrival comes.

Hey. Just reading your posts about toilet training. There are some re-useable nappy companies that do a potty training pant that lets the child feel they are wet when they pee themselves but doesn't come through. My mum just got some for my 2 year old brother and they are working with him. Don't get too stressed out though, not good for baby. Xxx

Well at least you'll see your bundle of joy sooner than us..which is nice. So your due soon..like 19 days huh? Wow..my nursery still isn't set up. Hopefully my little man will abide by my schedule and come on Nov. 3rd and not sooner. You never know! How are you feeling?

Hi! I see we have the same due date. Because I had a c-section with my twins 7 years ago, the dr.'s feel it's better to have another one. We want a November baby..and the first Monday is the 3rd. They wanted to do it on Oct. 31st (halloween) but we looked at each other and laughed and said no. My husband's father died almost 2 years ago in October..so he wants a Nov. baby..and me too. My twins were born at 38.5 weeks..so I'm hoping I can go long again. Why are you having your so early? Oct. 20th? Isn't that like 3 weeks early?

Thanks for the comment. I have heard the same thing about repeat c-sections. I have also heard that the recovery is not as bad as the first one. The only bad thing is that I have a cold and she is scheduleded to come in two weeks and three days! I hope that I am better in time.
