Hey, nothing here yet!

Monday, 21 Jan

Hi! Just figuring out this site. It `s really cool to be able to read everyone `s comments... every pregnancy is unique, but it is so nice to find commonality with other people. I have a couple of friends who have had babies, but most of my friends haven `t had babies and many of them are still single. Consequently, I am a bit starved for contact with other pregsters!!

Sunday, 27 Jan

Our midwife took January off, so I haven `t seen her since before Christmas, although I had an ultrasound at a lab on 03 Jan. Since everything seems to be going well, I have not had to page any of the other midwives, which is a good thing. Still, I am getting a bit anxious for my next appointment on 05 Feb, particularly when people ask me how the baby is. Wish I could feel the baby move, but according to almost all sources, I am not likely to feel anything for another 3-6 weeks. Had a renewed bout of morning sickness today.

Wednesday, 6 Feb

Just saw the midwife yesterday and heard the baby `s heart beat and lots of movement. It was awesome. Can `t wait for the next ultra sound on Feb 21, tho still planning to be surprised about boy or girl.

Saturday, 16 Feb

Yay! It `s my first day in week 18. I remember being in weeks 7-9, in the worst throws of morning sickness and thinking how great it would be to be at this stage. I am wearing mat clothes now, but I still don `t have that definitely pregnant silhouette yet, which I thought I would have by now. But the really great news is that I have been feeling the baby move for about a week and it gets stronger every day. My husband has felt it by putting his hand on my belly. We go for our next u/s next Thurs. I can `t wait to see the baby again, and am hoping for good results on the anatomical scan.

hey! I was reading your posts, I did my own swab too! I loved it cause I didnt feel uncomfortable or anything and everything has been private. I do get checked at 38 weeks tho for dialation.

Thank you for your comments on my page regarding the stroller. I never really thought about the car seat causing undo stress on a baby's spine. This is good to know. I will definately look into a a pram or carriage type device for my son. Maybe I can find something less expensive on Craig's List.

We just moved last month and my hubby works long ass hours and I had to pack up the entire house myself. The day we moved there was still packing to do and I just left him and his 5 friends at the old house to do it himself! I came to the new house and sat on the floor with my youngest and waited, I took a break! Its very tireing and you should relax and get help. Just be careful and dont lift anything heavy!

hiya thanks for your post, yeah well my baby measures a little small for 30 weeks hes about 27weeks, but my womb is measuring 33 weeks its confusing me i think he may have turned round because i have felt a kew knocks to the back... oh yey he just stuck his foot in my ribs, im only 5ft in height and have small torso so i think he may be lacking the room to jingle about like he used to!! im not feeling loads but i am feeling some so ill keep you posted thanks again emilie x
