CONGRATS on your little girl!!! I am delighted to be having a girl, so much fun to pick out pretty things for her : ) Have you thought of any names? And how are you feeling? I am WIPED OUT!!!

To be widowed at 26 is awful but to hear you have found someone else and are now opening a new chapter with some new additions is a happy ending and you are right the best laid plans don't always go as we expect.
A beautiful little girl - what great news and I do understand about the yellow thing, I am tending to stick to white although that will change once baby is here.
So how are you feeling? Just 12 weeks to go! I wonder which one of us will pop first . Are you going for a natural birth? I had a natural birth with Amy and I am planning to do the same again but as we said before life sometimes throws some curves!
Hope you keep well.

Yes indeed. Thank you Jesus! I always wanted 2 boys and a girl and now I've got it. Thank you for your comments!

Hilarious about the peeing in corners!! Our success significantly increased once we put on the big boy pants full-time. He still doesn't much like doing Number 2, and holds it a bit, or asks for a diaper to do it in. aahhh!! We don't give in and he eventually goes on the pot. He is in undies at night too- woohooo!!
And how are you feeling?

darlinburnett - Wednesday, 16 July
Yes, a girl!!! Delighted : )
And no, potty-training never gets any easier. This is my third time doing it, so you'd think I could remember how it was done before, but not so much... I do know three things though- 1) As soon as they show an interest, that is your window of opportunity, don't miss it! 2) Start off, by just sticking them on the pot every two hours until they start producing : ) 3) Once they can do that, put them in undies so they can actually feel when they have an accident. That will get them to thinking about it BEFORE they do it. That is the key, that they know, before they go. And at that point you have to get them on the pot every hour unless you want 12 pairs of wet undies per day : )
So we are at stage three and only about one accident per day. I think by the end of this week, we will be done!!!
He will be three in Nov., so he is little older than your youngest, but they all do it at different time. GOOD LUCK!!!
Glad to know you,
Steph

Good luck to you too. Your perfect name will come to you. My firstborn's name is Chase Andrew. It didn't take me long to decide on that. My secondborn's name is Landon Blake. You're right, you will decide on one thing and wind up having the opposite..lol... always happens!

melanie rae - Monday, 30 June
Hey, I like the middle name Rae. That's my middle name also. My first name is Melanie. I love the name Raegan. How about Raegan Hope? That's a beautiful name. Good luck to you. Mine is due Christmas Day.

Thank you so much for the info. Did you go into labor on your own or were you induced? My Dr. said that they will go over all of the risks with me between 28-32 weeks. However, I know there is risks with any type of delivery. So I am really shooting for a VBAC. Congrats on your pregnancy and good luck!!
