May 4, 2008 Hey all, here are the pics from both baby showers. I have one more to do with my folks at work. Then that's done. I will be happy to be done with showers. Both were tons of fun. This is baby number two for me. Well my 2nd child in 16 years. My partner and I have been together for almost 4 years and decided we wanted to have a baby.

We are both excited and both scared to death. It's been a long time since I changed a diaper.

It's a girl we have named (read below) and she is due June 15th.

Glad to see all the other mommies to be out there.

Hey ladies,I `ve yet to add anything substantial to my page so here goes. Sunday the 24th I will be 6 months. Ryleigh is super active. She loves to kick and do flips. My dad says he enrolled her in gymnastics. Can't wait to meet her.

how is she with crying? my little girl NEVER cries!! its so weird cause we figured with all the yelling and screaming and loud noises she heard in my tummy that she'd be colicky or something, but she only whines when shes hungry. no cry. its strange! im sure she will be changing that very soon though once she gets a personality going on.

Thanks for sharing your birth story. It was a great read and inspiring for those of us who don't seem to have any signs yet that things can change so fast from one day to the next. I was so not expecting it, shes gorgeous, i loved ur story we were just talking i dont go on for a day and u had baby, i didnt even know u were so close, i ams o excited for u, i drank mineral oil tonoght, pharmisist says its the same as castor oil so far not a thing:( its been almost 2 hours

Did she have bruising on her face from coming through the birth canal so fast? Cayden did. It went away pretty quickly though. Glad to hear that you feel good. I know all about the being tired thing though. It's just about been a week and I'm still tired!

I wish my little guy had lots of hair. I hope that what he does have doesn't fall out. With my first, all his hair on the sides fell out so he had a mohawk for the longest time! It was still cute though. How are you feeling though? Did you tear at all? I didn't this time and I'm sooooo relieved.

congrats!!! Your story is awesome, you gotta check mine out, it's kinda similar to yours, except my doc finally showed up and asked "did I miss it?" then he turned around and left. My hubby was freaking out!
It's awesome when it happens like that huh, and I bet you're thrilled about your little bundle.

THis is the best and craziest birth story I ever heard. Just as I expected from you:) No, really, it is more than I expected:) You are just amazing. And you were driving around while in active labor! Unbeleivable. Serves it right to this doctor to show him that he is not that important:) But I of course would run screaming for the hosital at first contractions:) WEll, good luck to you, your little one and of course, to Kenya too. With this start, everything should be easy from now on:)
