This is baby number two for me. Well my 2nd child in 16 years. My partner and I have been together for almost 4 years and decided we wanted to have a baby.

We are both excited and both scared to death. It's been a long time since I changed a diaper.

It's a girl we have named (read below) and she is due June 15th.

they just really strict in the uk they dont really induce unless your really late or you got a medical reason to have it done its so frustrating ive got a membrane sweep arranged for tom so hopefully that mite get him moving he must be either really stubborn or just lazy lol

believe me i tried it doesnt seem to work over here id just like to have some kind of date in mind so i can arrange other childcare and stuff and also just have some date to focus on they said my baby had stopped growing 3 weeks ago so dont really see point in him being in there still at 41 weeks but they say hes happy in there and will come when hes ready lol

Thought you got lucky. But I guess not. Everytime someone posts that they are going in to have their baby I want to scream. I went to my doctor today and this lil' girl hasn't even dropped yet, so he didn't even check me. Asked him what was up with an induction. His response: "We'll visit that option if you make it to your due date." GRRRRR Now I know for sure I'll be here til wk 41. 3 more weeks to go.
A couple of my friends told me I need to find a man I trust so he can put me into labor. WTF... A man I can trust. Do they make those???

Hey :) I have been great!! I will be moving back to South Dakota after the baby and feel up to traveling. Broke up with my boyfriend so doing whats best for baby!! Tuesday suck and u have less than 2 weeks to go so i hate you..lol
Its 7 22 in the damn morning, and im already at work, got here at 6 something actually..lol what the hell is my problem.
Things are a lil better at home. At least we are speaking... mildly.. hahaha I messed around and took a damn nap last night woke up at 10 and had tons of energy. So i had to force myself to go back to sleep after ms rap supreme, some news, and chelsea lately went off..lol Theres no one here so i still got my nigga scarf on..lol I had really creepy dreams last night..so no more mixing foods for me.
My ass ate 1 lil piece of ledo pizza, some rice and some fried potatoes and onions..lol I was just looking for whatever i could grab first and threw that shit in the microwave. When will i learn that those mixed meals arent a good idea..
Why is it when i have to pee real bad it feels like contractions..lol And how come pregnant people are so leaky..lol And how come this expensive ass granola from starbucks dont have more flavor than this..lol

hah. but they arent long enough. the ones they use are seriously like 12 inches long. insane. lol. appt was good. we didnt have the induction talk, because he did a stretch and sweep, and he said how she felt he thinks i should go anyday. [[yeah right]], and he said right now she feels about 7.5 pounds! yayy! i was all happy. hes like "but she could be bigger, so dont get excited." that kinda pissed me off, cus i REALLLLY want a 7.5. anyways, i was freaking out about the stretch and sweep for no reason, cus it didnt hurt at all! lol.

If those pains keep up you should call your doctor! I've been getting a weird shooting pain in my groin...but I think it is normal? It comes and goes so I'm assuming it's just 'one of those things'. 17 years! That is definitely a long time-- I'm also looking forward to not being pregnant... lol... I liked it at first, but now I just want the baby out so I can have my body back. Is that selfish? Anyway-- I hope the half days work out for you!!

That's what I am hoping for. I hear the more invasive surgery has a 6-8wk recovery time. I don't think I can do that with a newborn. Glad she is doing better. I hope we can start with that option.

Some hurt, some don't. I'm having right now more in my back than up front. I've been having back labor for about a week now...atleast that's what they call it. It's like exactly how long am I going to be in what they call "early labor" GOD! I've been basically on bedrest for 2 weeks because of the swelling in my feet, I'm just miserable.

Yeah I have to have some sort of surgery after the baby is born. We are supposed discuss what options are available once the LO is outta there. I am hoping it will not be too invasive. But whatever...i'll just have to endure b/c this fibroid has made this process a lot more laborious than it needs to be.

I am feeling a lot of pressure down below! It really hurts to walk and I have a long way to go until July 10th. (I have a large fibroid that is making it worst than it should be at this point). Anyway...i'm holding on and fightin the good fight. I can't wait to meet my little guy or gal, but I know I'm still a little too early. We'll see. So happy for you though. Hopefully your doc will appease you... It is awesome that you work for such great people. Can you believe that people say we'll miss being pregnant? I can't fathom that at this point. In a few weeks we'll probably both miss the quiet times though-- Your little girl will come when you least expect her to (if that's possible!)
