May 4, 2008 Hey all, here are the pics from both baby showers. I have one more to do with my folks at work. Then that's done. I will be happy to be done with showers. Both were tons of fun. Everyone had such a good time at the one at my house they all want to come back and do something else. We will have a fish fry in a few weeks. Deb

This is baby number two for me. Well my 2nd child in 16 years. My partner and I have been together for almost 4 years and decided we wanted to have a baby.

We are both excited and both scared to death. It's been a long time since I changed a diaper.

It's a girl we have named (read below) and she is due June 15th.

Glad to see all the other mommies to be out there.

Hey ladies,I `ve yet to add anything substantial to my page so here goes. Sunday the 24th I will be 6 months. Ryleigh is super active. She loves to kick and do flips. My dad says he enrolled her in gymnastics. Can't wait to meet her.

and also, im in the same boat as you right now. if i read one more person who says they lost a bunch of weight and can fit into their regular clothes them im gonna scream! yea ok whatever we had our babies a couple weeks ago, well i want my body back now! its so sad to try on my old jeans that i loved and not even be able to get them up my chunky thighs! ughhhh!

they said shes definitly got thrush and they gave me an Rx to put on it. i have to put it in her mouth then rub it in. i feel so bad! its sick cause i have to scrape the white things off as i do it. kinda makes me gag thinking about it. she doesnt mind it at all though! if someone did that to me i'd definitely be bawling! weirdly enough 9lbs 12oz doesnt feel too heavy. my arm has yet to get sore from carrying her. i think im just so use to it right now.

hey gal how are you, how is the little princess? i am doing fine thanks, im getting bigger i have got that pregnant waddle ting happening, hehe. time is going slow, i keep panicking i dont know whats wrong with me, i keep tinking all isnt going to go well with me, ive never heard any stories about people dying in the labour room but ive heard three now, its horrible, im like why are you telling me, but i say to myself theres nothing you can do so try and be positve, everythings in Gods hand. but other than that everything is going nicely my lil boy kicks non stop. We finally got some sun over here in England so thats nice. how is eveerything going for you all? take care hun x

I don't look forward to any of that. But once you kinda get a schedule down it will be better. I just want him out of my ribs and off my pelvic bone. And the only way that is going to happen is if he comes out. My job is pretty much laid back thank god because I know when he gets here I will probably be late everyday. LOL

If I wasn't pregnant I would do the heat and all that. But I am just too tired. I drove today but I probably won't drive tomorrow and then I will drive on Thursday I think.

Girl, I'm about to whoop his butt LOL... So I went to my doc appt right... and he was checking my cervix.. he said its thinner than what it should be right.... he stops look at the ceiling and said I think he just kicked me... pause check again... he said oh no, he's head butting me, that probably has alot to do with you goin into preterm labor! Your so small, he's so big and very very very active!

And stop stressin, the weight will come off b4 u know it! It probably only seems like forever because your worried about it! I'ma need you to get on my sons workout plan... LOL j/k! Girl my niece Kenyha is over here about to drive me crazy!!!! She's in disbelief that I'm havin a baby... so she tries to put on the babys clothes and socks... I'm about to ready to whooper her and put her to sleep. She hasnt sucked on a bottle since she was 10 months and now shes about to be 3 and wanna cry for my son bottle. You know my nerves are bad!

Yeah, today it's supposed to be about 83 degrees out so I'm sure by the time we eat dinner and then get to the park, it'll be a bit cooler out. If not then we just won't go. Which sucks but I don't want it to be too hot. I know what you mean about sitting around the house all day. I do get up and clean and all that but still, that is not much for exercising. I hate soap operas as well. And that's pretty much all that's on during the day.

I bet you can't wait until Thursday. I would be wicked excited to get outa here too. But we're not going anywhere until August. Then we'll be gone for 2wks! Yay! I can't wait to see my family and all my friends. They'll all get to meet Cayden! It'll be great!

Awww! Don't cry. Have you been doing that alot? I know it is alot. It has been a long time since you had to care for a baby and it is alot of work. Which is why I am terrified. But you will be okay. Cry if you need to, talk about it but don't ever hold it in because you will make yourself into a ticking time bomb.

I know. I just hate the feeling of wanting to home when I am there. I am so irritiable. And because I work down town I take public transportation and by the time it is time for me to go home I am exhausted. Just thinking about getting on the bus makes me want to cry. Some days i pay to park but that with the cost of gas can get very expensive and my money is already funny. I am just so uncomfortable.

Aw, don't worry about it! You're little angel isn't even 1 month old yet! Give it time and I'm sure you'll look amazing! I'm sure you already do anyway but still. I know what you mean. With my first I had gained 80lbs and I only lost about 40 of that. Then I gained 22lbs this time, which I've actually already lost but still, nothing fits right because of all the bone shifting. So, I'm totally with you on that one. It's really discouraging. But we can do it!!! I'm going to try working on losing the rest of the 40lbs from 3yrs ago! LOL Might go for a walk in the park today. Take Malachi to feed the geese and ducks. He LOVES going to the park to feed them.

The party was good. Not too many people came but I didn't really expect too many anyway. No one really RSVPe'ed. Kinda pissed me off cuz I didn't know how much food to get. Oh well, it was a good time anyway.

Working? You have to be careful that you don't over do it. You might feel fine but your body has been through alot. You shouldn't be working out anyway. Trust me. You don't want to mess your body up permanently. It will come. Don't rush it. When do you go back for your check up. You really shouldn't do a whole lot until after that.

I have sleepless nights already. I know once he is here everything is going to change majorly. I just can't take being uncomfortable anymore.

It is so hard for me get up and go to work. In the morning I just feel like I have been hit by a truck. Who is watching the baby while you are at work?

I was so proud of myself too! I didn't think I'd be able to do it. Such a relief that they both behaved. Bet you've been busy with all the shopping and getting ready for the trip. That's always exciting though. I need to get some shirts too. Just can't wear maternity anymore but none of my prepregnancy clothes fit right either. I'll need to get a few things before too long.

Ok, damn I know I've been really gone and in my owm world... this lil man has given me so many scares... the next time I go to Labor and Delivery I want to be past 34 weeks and ready to have his lil ass! I done been there off and on the past 2 weeks to stop my contractions! ANY HOO SINCE I BEEN GONE>>> SUMMIN CHANGED... CONGRATS!!!!!!! I am so happy 4 u and Kenya
