Thanks for checking in...everything is going okay although we had a bit of a scare this week concerning our u/s I added a blog about it...but all in all still househunting, housewaiting. we actually found a great house but then, we decided to stay on post but our house here won't be ready until Sept 11 so I am still looking for my dream house.:)

Hey Jessica! Just wanted to drop by and tell you some news I found out today. I'm not sure if you're aware, but Mount Hope Church of Christ (just off Rangeline on Mt. Hope) has a bi-annual children's sale. Well I found out today that the fall sale is going to be held on the weekend of September 12th. I'm quite certain it starts bright and early, like 7 am and goes through Saturday. We've gone to the last couple sales and they're absolutley fantastic! TONS TONS TONS of cheap baby clothes! And lots of other baby items as well. I think we went with $50 this spring and came out with an entire summer wardrobe for Bekah...plus hair bows and a few toys! I'm hoping to find a second crib and possibly a car seat as well. Oh, and boy clothes if that's what we're having. Thank God the sale is 2 days after we find out!!! I just thought you might be interested! Drop me a note if you have any other questions!!! I hope your week is going well. Less than 2 weeks until you know!!!!! YAY!

Hi! I had my appointment this morning and everything went just fine. The baby was moving all over the place so it was hard for Dr.Fogarty to "catch it" long enough to get a really good listen. lol! Apparently we have a very active baby! She said I could schedule my appointment the same week as yours but when I went to make it there weren't any spots left. I guess the tech is taking half days that week. SO ANNOYING! So I have to wait until the 10th to find out what we're having. I already had a sitter line up to watch Bekah, too! ARG! Oh well. Now I'll just have to make other arrangements I guess.

So how's your week going? Have you felt your baby moving yet? I get a slight flutter and a few pokes here and there but nothing really steady yet. I remember I was getting kicked all over the place by my big appointment during my last pregnancy so I suspect it will probably be the same way this time. I just pray he or she cooparates and spreads their legs wide! lol! Then that's the last time it's allowed to do that until it's an adult! hehehehe!!!

Hi! Thanks for the well wishes. I realized the other day that we're going to have to have a baby sitter for Bekah because the ultrasound alone takes about an hour and then we still have to see the doc! So I have one lined up for the 2nd...one day before I hit 20 weeks. It would be awesome if I could get in then. At least I'd have an excuse, right? lol! I guess I'll know on Wednesday what she says.

Hey Jessica! Yes, Linda is so great! And Sue is, too. She's the other midwife whom I bet you'll meet at some point. She actually delivered Bekah! How exciting to have your big scan scheduled! I was going to ask if they'd do mine on the 3rd as well. I'll be exactly 20 weeks that day and I pray they won't make me wait an extra week to find out the sex! How funny about "fighting" over whether or not to find out. Thank God Kevin's just as impatient as me. Although we have talked about the possibility of waiting to find out if we have a third...but only if this one turns out to be a boy. At that point we'd have all we needed for either sex so we wouldn't have to get prepared ahead of time, ya know? I just don't know if we'd have the patience, though. Anyhow, I'm so glad things are still going well. It's fantastic hearing that thumping beat every month, isn't it? I can't wait until next week to hear my little sweetheart once again! I'll let you know how eveyrthing goes. xoxoxox Amanda

Hey Jessica! We're doing great! I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering if you had an appointment coming up. I just hadn't had a chance to write yet. My next appointment isn't until the 13th, so another couple weeks. It would be great if they told you what you're having. Good luck with that! lol! I know they didn't tell me the last time until my big ultrasound at 20 weeks. Will you be getting an ultrasound next week?

We're really happy with our van so far. We went to Van's Vans in Webb City. I know they sell some really nice cars, too and I highly recommend checking them out. They're really great people to work with and they did everything they could to stick to our budget...and then threw in a two year warranty as well! If we ever need another car we'll definitely go back!

Have you felt your baby move at all yet? I felt a few little tiny pokes last night for the first time. It was awesome! I know it was right around this time last year when I first felt Rebekah's little pokes, so I was waiting for them this time. lol!
