Hey everyone,

My name is Jamie. I have 2 great boys, a 9yr old and a 6yr old(step son). They are both very active in sports and cub scouts. I have a wonderful husband that I'm very lucky to have. We tryed for over a year before I became pregnant. I just so ready to hold and kiss all over my new baby.

We had our U/S today. We are having a boy. Looks like I'll be selling Boy Scout popcorn for another 15years. Does anyone want to go ahead and pre order there life time supply?

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

i tried the nipple stimulation and did not even get a shadow of a cramp, not to mention a real contraction. Can it just be too early? i am 37 weeks today and 1 cm dlilated, maybe 2 by now.

I feel your pain about your husband! the least these men can do is be good to us while our bodies are going thru so much. Mine is being a pain in the ass and I am so stressed out! I hope things get better for both of us!

Hiya, I think i will have to resort to flip flops too! When i got pregnant i never thought i would suffer with swollen feet which is stupid really but it just didnt occur to me. Now i find it is the biggest burden of my pregnancy and by the evening i can hardly walk at all, i cant bend my ankle or toes and getting up the stairs is a nightmare. I look like my legs have been broken. The midwife says im so short that baby is all out front with nowhere else to go and im unbalanced causing muscle and nerve pain and of course all the swelling due to the weight. My tummy is huge and they are concerned as it is rock hard. I wish they would give me an ultrasound too, im not sure they will though. I reckon in the end we will have 6lb babies! Hope all is going well for you apart from the feet issue! Take care xxx

I understand the hunger pains! I have said 1000 times that I don;t know how people in 3rd world countries are pregnant. When this is over I want to send food to pregnant mothers everywhere :-) I gained another 3 pounds when I went to the dr today in just under 2 weeks. That puts me at 30. I am not worried though.

Trust me I feel crazy after being on my feet for 12 hours! My ankles/feet are swollen when I get home, and can barely walk. I just feel bad because my appointment is Wednesday, and I'm scheduled to work Thursday and Friday, if my doctor takes me off I want it to be effective immediately! You know? So, I'll have to call my boss Wednesday afternoon and tell her....and I'm scared. Thanks for your response. I really need the encouragement. My husband is supportive, but I think 98% of the time he's clueless. I really hope my OB takes me off though, cause I really don't know how much more I can take!!!
