Thursday, 3 July I understand the hunger pains! I have said 1000 times that I don;t know how people in 3rd world countries are pregnant. When this is over I want to send food to pregnant mothers everywhere :-) I gained another 3 pounds when I went to the dr today in just under 2 weeks. That puts me at 30. I am not worried though. Monday, 30 June Trust me I feel crazy after being on my feet for 12 hours! My ankles/feet are swollen when I get home, and can barely walk. I just feel bad because my appointment is Wednesday, and I'm scheduled to work Thursday and Friday, if my doctor takes me off I want it to be effective immediately! You know? So, I'll have to call my boss Wednesday afternoon and tell her....and I'm scared. Thanks for your response. I really need the encouragement. My husband is supportive, but I think 98% of the time he's clueless. I really hope my OB takes me off though, cause I really don't know how much more I can take!!!

Monday, 30 June We did end up having some friends to help us - it's not that I didn't want them to help us, it was more of them telling my husband that I asked them to help (and it was more than one person that did this) when I really did not ask, rather they offered and I said that it would be nice. I think it was more the pregnancy hormones that set me off! BeansMom -
Friday, 27 June I'm really not looking forward to it. I start mat leave at the end of next week so can hopefully get a little done each day. Though our new place on Vancouver Island is undergoing renos at the moment and I am going over there to check out the progress and throw my two cents in. We changed all our doors at this place so our big furniture we are worried if we'll be able to get it out!! I'll be taking lots of breaks and accepting all offers of help. My family is near the new place so thgey'll be by everyday I'm sure. I just hope it doesn't cause early labour! Thanks for your advice! bellsipoo -

Wednesday, 25 June I'm glad too. It really made for an interesting discussion. I always wondered why people seem to think that others would make fun of it either way. It's kind of private, so others really wouldn't know. It's not an easily visible part, and isn't whipped out everywhere. I still don't know what I want to do if this turns out to be a boy. H doesn't care either way. He is willing to listen to other people's views but doesn't comment much.
I'm glad that you had a good discussion with your h.

Tuesday, 24 June Thanks for the links! As long as it isnt accuPUNCTURE, Id be willing to give it a try! eastern-Canadian-Lady -
Monday, 23 June thanks for the comment. I feel kind of alone in making the decision, bc h doesn't care one way or the other. He told me to ask the docs what they recommend. I ask people on here, bc I think many others are thinking the same thing. I don't even know for sure if I am having a boy, but I am guessing that it is, bc this pregnancy is VERY different than my last, which resulted in a girl. I know that the gov't doesn't cover it, and neither does insurance so it will come out of pocket. I don't know how much it will cost to get it done, but I am leaning that way, so I had better start saving.
thanks for the input. take care sarahbrockman -

Friday, 20 June LOL love it! That was my plan all along. Supervising in my lazy-boy with a nice cold .05% cider. And they say pregnancy is hard work...BAH! mommynicolem -
Friday, 20 June I know...my problem is...there is SUCH a demand that places don't hire part-time RNs, which is what I am. I won't be PT forever, just while my little ones are little. I'm lucky to have the job I have. Hopefully it will all work out. :/ jasmineflower -
Friday, 20 June It's so good to hear someone else who has gained as much as me. I am really not worried about it but people comment on how huge and "swollen" I look. Lol. ameylocket23 -
