Friday, 15 August Just thought I would drop by and say hi! I am a bit jealous ...it seems like everyone is finding out what they're having! I can't believe the tech didn't even offer to look for me! (maybe she was new???) She was super sweet though...so all is forgiven ....lol! Well, hope all is well there.... happy almost weekend! marinewife8412 -
Wednesday, 13 August No way!! I'm so sore and miserable. I've done nothing but sit my fat, pregnant ass on the couch and look at all the cleaning that I COULD get done and decided tomorrow is another day. I can do it all tomorrow LOL.
How are you today? marinewife8412 -
Wednesday, 13 August I get told that quite often LOL. I need to do a second coat on the cabinets and I'm mad. I didn't think it would need 2 coats so I think I'm going to just buy another color all together....something darker so I won't have to do 2 coats. LOL.
How are you feeling today?? How's grandma doing?? birthmothernikkole -
Wednesday, 13 August I had my visit on Monday! It was so amazing!! Brandon and I both held him for a while and whenever Chris or Christine held him he would just stare at me the WHOLE time! I could not believe it... Almost the whole 2 hours he was watching me! At the end he even smiled at me! They are going to the beach this weekend for 2 weeks so they just gave us pictures at the visit and said they would wait until next month for the letter with more pictures of him at the beach!
I'll put those pictures up here soon--I got a new laptop and I am spending all my time getting it to hook up to the internet..
Ohh and I only teared up a little at the end because they were dragging it on with like "are you okay? Do you need alone time with him?" and so on. He was sleeping so I didn't want to wake him up just for a kiss. But when I got in the car I was better.
How are you doing?? marinewife8412 -

Monday, 11 August Ok this is really freaking me out b/c my grandma is 74 and looks about 60 as well. People think she's my mom and not my grandma. She practically raised me too so it would be hard for me as well. I swear we must have been seperated at birth

Monday, 11 August So sorry to hear about your grandmother!! I hope she gets better soon.....
So freaky though, my grandmother is going to the hospital tomorrow to run tests on her brain b/c she's all of a sudden extremely forgetful, dizzy, disoriented and she gets lost going places that she's been like 1000's of times. The dr. thinks she had a stroke but they want to check her brain before they say for sure.
I swear we have way to much in common, it's kind of scaring me...but in a good way!!
Stay strong and i'm sure grandma will be ok!! marinewife8412 -
Sunday, 10 August Although my hubby is active duty in the Marine Corps he got stationed back here (where we both grew up) for recruiting duty. This is where I met him. Both our family live within 20 minutes of us which is nice but it would be nice to not have them so close as well. Neither side watches the kids for us unless we bribe. It's kind of sad. They should want to more knowing that at anytime we could be moving. Makes me mad sometimes but I feel the same way you do about your dad not calling or seeing the kids as often as you think they should..it's their loss and when and if we get stationed across the country they will wish they had seen them more. Oh well!! I think all families are disfunctional.......
Where do you live now? marinewife8412 -
Sunday, 10 August My hubby and I will be married for 2 years in September and together for 3 in December. Yea I know, we kind of rushed into getting married only b/c he got orders to go to NC and since our son isn't really his my ex was giving me a hard time with taking him with us. I thought that the court system would like it much better that I was asking to take my son with my husband and not my bf. Turns out he got to extend here in NY and we've been here an extra 2 years in November. It's nice to be where we both grew up but I kind of want to move to "start our own lives." Where are your parents?? Are they close??
As far as our 1 year wedding anniversary I honestly don't remember what we did.........oh wait, I think we did dinner or something. I was 9 months pregnant and HUGE with our daughter so I wasn't really up for anything dramatic. We got eachother cards, I sent my son to my parents for the nice so we could just spend some quality time together. Hopefully you have arrangements for the kids. (It's nice to have sex and make as much noise as you want
) TMI from me too, but you know you are thinking the same thing LOL.
Gifts don't really matter to me either. It's the time together that really matters, at least to me. My hubby doesn't really care about gifts either. Since he works like 14 hour days, it's nice to relax and just enjoy eachother sometimes.
Sorry to ramble, but you asked lots of questions. Hope I helped!! marinewife8412 -
Saturday, 9 August HAHAHAHA my son is the same way. He takes FOREVER which I can't stand. I told him he has 3 minutes. If he hasn't picked out a toy in those 3 minutes he gets nothing. He's gotten alot better!! LOL
Get the activity table for her.....she'll LOVE IT. I got mine at a garage sale for $8 LOL blest69 -

Saturday, 9 August No, but you can stand her up. That way her leg muscles are getting stronger for standing by herself and she has something new to play with. I buy my little one a new toy every couple of weeks. They get bored easily so the new stuff mixed in with the old toys makes the old toys seem new as well!!
