I went to the my doctor for my 20 week ultrasound although when the tech did the ultrsound I measured 22 weeks and 3 days! Also they change my due to Sept 3 instead of the 5th. The tech confirmed that I am having a baby girl! Also she weighted 1 lbs and 1 oz he said she is a healthy baby! He said her heart is perfect and all her measurments are great!

So today I went and paid for a ultrasound! My doctor wanted to wait until May 2 to tell me what I was having. My hubby and me couldn't wait that long so we just went ant got one done I am so happy we went and did it!! So............

Hi I'm Ashley I am pregnant with my first child and me and my hubby are so excited! We went years thinking we couldnt have kids! We have been together since Nov. 13 2002 and we have been pretty much tring since then!! My husband already had is mind set we would never have children together! But I never gave up I always knew what day I was ovulating, my period was like clock work. Well on Dec 1, 2007 I started my period I told my husband be ready on the 14 or 15 lol! He was ok but please dont get you hopes up! Well I always did when Jan. 1.2008 came and I didnt start I was like hmm just maybe. I ask my husband on Jan. 8, 2008 have you noticed anything he said yea but I dont want to jinks it! So on the sunday the cowboys lost to the giants Jan. 13, 2008 :( ! I took a pregnancy test and it said + we took 8 pregnancy tests and the all said the same thing we were finally pregnant! My husband started crying he was so happy he finally got me prego! Well thats pretty much my prego story!

I found out a week ago tuesday that my baby is about 9.6 lbs!! And that was a week ago. Doc really thought I would have him over the weekend. All signs point in that direction. So, now I think I am going to have another growth scan to see how much bigger he is... ag! Then probably have a c-section if he has grown more. Wish my doc would induce and give me a chance at a vaginal birth. Sigh.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!! I am so happy for you!! Just think, you will be meeting your little one soon!

I was looking at your nursery pics... very cute and original.....and the diaper cake was cute ... did you make that?... thats a really creative idea well anyways I have been induced twice before and it was confining to me... having to spend my entire labor in the hospital ( first time was 29 hours) I would have rather been in my own bed in my own clothes until i was ready but i felt like it being over so i sucked it up and was induced.

I have the same problem sometimes. You have to make sure that you position the arm just right or it won't work sometimes. Once the swing is running, spin the bears counterclockwise. This has worked for me when it wasn't moving before. Also try to put it up high to like 5 or 6, sometimes, that will get it going. Let me know if you still have trouble, okay? :o)

I went to the doctors today and there is absolutely nothing going on with my cervix, so I decided to postpone being induced. I just dont know what to do...I dont want to deliver a 10.5 pound baby. How do you feel about being induced?

I am in the exact same boat as you. At 36 weeks I was measuring 40, so I went to the U/S adn they estimated that my baby girl weighed 8pds 4 oz already. My doctor wants to induce me on the second. I have not given her the okay yet though. I am holding out to see if I can just labor naturally. Have you had your U/s yet?

Yea but it took twice as long to do it because she was already head down and then she wouldnt cooperate with us she kept turning her head away. But she FINALLY worked with us and opened up her eyes. That is one experience that was well worth the extra money!

i may be wrong but it sounds like sciatia, i had it real bad years ago and hava had it sinse but not as bad as back then, had a bit yesterday ,when i asked my doctor for something for th epain he said paracetamol andi wanted cruches as i really couldn`t walk very well at all i was in agony,i even think that maybe i may have slipped a disc still don`t know i just know it killed, all you can do is see if your doctor can do anything for you, all i was offered was to see a physiopherapist who tried to tell me the obvious like bend your knees when lifting etc.. so i didn`t get much help but you may have abetter team of doctors than i did ,i am with a different clinic now and thye may even be better if i got it bada again. i know how aganising htis can be and sympathise but all i can say is see your doctor as if may be something other than what i think. good luck...mellow

hi there when yo usay your lower back hurts is it sore in your buttock or down your lags i am asking cos sciatica is from the botto of the spine, 5th vertabrae i think? anyway thats a trapped nerve andwhen i had it bad i couldn`t walk and i even had lack of control in my lag and had to drag it along. it could be something else tho but just thought i`d say this..

That'd be kind of tricky to be in love with a name that happens to be similar to your MIL's. It's bound to cause some sort of jealousy in your family since the name's only off by one letter. Wouldn't Zaidy be a nickname for Zaida, though? In my baby name book it only lists Zaida.

I don't really know what to say, but Zaidy's a beautiful name. Choose a name based on what you like. Maybe you could name her Daniella Zaidy if you're worried the name choice would cause a problem? Or there's Saidy which is kinda like Zaidy, but not quite so close. Best of luck to you during the rest of your pregnancy!
