Hey! Thanks for the tips! I think we will try to do a bit more as a couple over the next 12 weeks, we gotta make the effort! Im awake on and off through the night, not so much with baby moving and kicking, more that i need to pee every 2 hours and sometimes heartburn so i gotta get up and get the gaviscon!! Also i wake every time i have to turn over?! Prob because im huge!! Lol!
Im bracing myself for the strain thats gonna be put on our relationship, new baby and my interfereing MIL and i can also add a husband who works away quite a bit and living in a caravan whilst trying to build a house to the mix! Lol!
Hope you enjoyed ya quiet night! I had a quiet one too, Paul was away last night (and is again tonight) so i just vegged in front of the tv!

Ha ha! Your MIL sounds great! Lol! Similar to mine! Dissapointed that you were coping! Thats awful!! Im the same ive got a million stories bout my in-laws! It always feels good to have a rant bout them! Lol!
28 weeks 2moro for me! 12 weeks left! Doesnt sound long at all! Does it go quick from here? Any tips for the 3rd trimester?

Ha ha! Its nice to know im not alone with the MIL thing! Mine defo thinks she knows best and she had her last child nearly 36 years ago! She wont accept shes a lil outta touch! I think i'll do what your doin once baby gets here, leave her to it and get on with things! But then again what if she decides to stay for hours! Only good thing bout visiting them is that we can leave when we want! Lol!
Is Ellie yer MIL's only grandchild so far?

I think id be inprison for murder if my MIL changed ny babys 1st nappy! You might guess im not particularly tolerant of her at the mo! Lol! She always been quite annoying but since ive been pregnant shes stepped it up a gear! Shes so intense! Shes not horrible tho so i always feel guilty! Paul feels the same and says not to feel bad and shes his mum! Im close to my mum and shes just chilled out bout everything, she didnt really want to be in the delivery room so that worked out nicely! Im not that close to my dad, maybe a grandchild will change that! Lol!
Im not too worried bout my birthplan not going to plan, im just gonna play it by ear, see how i feel!

Scary thought not making it to the hospital! Just make sure ya mum and partner are in the car on the way to the hospital, that way if the baby does come quick you got them there! Lol!
Yeah ive decided bout birth partners, its only gonna be me and my husband at the birth and we probably arent gonna have any visitors till we leave the hospital (unless for some reason im in there a long time!). Some people have said thats weird but i just want the birth to be about me and my husband and our baby, and theres the fact that my in-laws drive me mad and i hate the idea of them coming to the hospital and hogging the baby! Lol! Although maybe its not that weird as i do speak to one lady whos got it in her birth plan that her mother-in-law is not aloud in!!
Are you gonna have your pram in ya house before the baby arrives? My mother-in-law went on and on bout that superstition and its starting to get to me now! Im prob gonna grab mine at 38 weeks anyway, i like to be prepared! Im just asking around to see what everyone else is doin?
A bigger baby this time aye? Thats gonna be an eye waterer! Lol!

Its gonna be awful not eating from 10pm! My test starts at 9am, a reward of a maccy d sounds good tho! I hate having blood taken, ive got really deep veins and apparently they're even harder to access when your pregnant! Im like a pin cushion by the time they're done with me! Lol!
Ive read that 2nd babys are bigger the the 1st d'ya rekon that'll hold true for you?
Sorry to hear you were feeling a lil down yesterday! Dinner out always cheers me up too!
You counting the down the days till your scan? Have you got any inclinations as to whether your having a boy or girl?

What do they actually do for the glucose test? The doc didnt really explain it too well! 8lbs 14oz! Did you make it to 40 weeks? Im defo gonna look after the baby stuff, i cant see us being able to afford it all again for a second one! They need so much!Im feeling good today! Its a lil warm out tho! Hows you doing? xxxx

Hi there!
I havnt been on-line for a couple of days! Aww both those twin buggys sound really nice! Hmm i wonder which one you'll need to get! Lol! Im hoping my pram will last for more babys too! They are so expensive!
My scan went well, my baby is measuring 2 weeks 4 days bigger and weighs 3lbs 4oz, im on target for an 8 pounder!!
Ive got the GTT next thursday! Fasting! I dont know how i'll manage it, i eat constantly!! Lol!
Hows you doin? How long till your scan?

Not really the machen area, D'ya know Caldicot? Im that side of Newport. I'll be delivering in the Royal Gwent in Newport, i didnt get alot of choice it was that or neville hall in abergavenny. Where you delivering too? Are labour wards hot? Do they have a/c at all? xxx

I want a labour like you had! Sounds so nice and relaxed!! I think your right just think about the good birth stories, it just seems like since i got pregnant everyone has a horror story to tell me!! We got a shortlist of names, we thought we'd pick one after the baby is born, my favourite name for a boy so far tho is 'Lochlain Jack', Hubby likes 'Lucian Jack', we are at a bit of a stale mate now! Lol! We are currently working on girls names at the mo so we dont have favourites for a girl yet! You got any names in mind? xxx

I know of ystrad mynach! Mornig sickness is terrible! I just felt rough all day long from 6 and half weeks to bout 13 weeks! I lived on crisps they were all i could stomach!! Glad your feeling better! Lol! No we dont know what we are having, intially i wanted to know but hubby wanted a surprise, so we didnt find out. Im quite happy bout it now tho. Ive got a scan next week to see how big mt baby is, im quite excited bout that! I was a huge baby (11 lbs 14 oz) so they are checking it doesnt run in the family! Aww 17 months! Does ahe understand bout the baby at all? xxx
