Well we were hoping that 2008 would be the year we would start a family and it looks like God agreed. We are so excited and a little scared... but so HAPPY!

Tuesday, 26 August Hey, have a question for you gals. How is everyones blood pressure doing? Are you seeing a rise? My pressure has been about 118/70 through out my pregnancy, now it has gone up to 125/75. Is this normal? sometimes it will be 130+/80 when I first walk into the dr office, but after I sit for awhile it is in the 120's. Anyone experiencing this and what is safe. The nurse was not too concerned , but I thought I would ask other moms and see what you all are experiencing. Thanks. endlessCircles -
Wednesday, 27 Feb Thanks for the kind comment. Nope, no ultrasound yet. My first appointment is on 3/3 which I am anxiously awaiting! How are you feeling? I've been nauseous for about a week and a half now - ugh! Congrats on your pregnancy!!!! 12shorty -

Wednesday, 13 Feb Hi Redh,
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I read your question about the ultrasound and I just wanted to tell you my experience. I went Monday for my first ultrasound (7 weeks 6 days) and they did use the internal probe. I was surprised, but they told me they do it externally after 9 weeks. It didn't really matter though, and it didn't hurt at all...my husband and I were so excited just to see the baby and hear the heart beat! ( the machine estimated me at 8 weeks 3 days...so this is close to the time you are going.) Well, I hope this helps. I'm sure if you call your doctors office they will let you know for sure. Good luck!
