Hello sexy mommies to be....

I am just praying on a healthy baby. I currently have one very sweet and special 9 year old boy with severe Autism.

December 14th 2007: Mood="irritated". Dis mornin' I went upstairs to potty and low and behold my water ruptured. I decided to not worry about it laid back down. Then at 8am it happened again but this time is was even more than before. I had to change my bedsheets and my clothing because I was shivering. Why did I change my clothes though??? I swear I kept having to find something to wear because I wouldn't stop leaking. I had to think of who to call because Shamarr is out of town on the road still. I was very hesitant to call my mother because she can over react. Plus I am not one of those preggos that rushes off to the hospital immediately at the slightest pain. I still had shopping to do darn it. What really made me mad was the 20 minute trip away from home to downtown Atlanta to the hospital. Why? Because unbeknown (my word) to me my dr.'s office is not open on Fridays. So now I am getting nervous because as stupid as it may sound to some ppl, I was not ready to be checked in. I didn't even have a bag for me or the baby packed yet. Well the staff was a little on the "dumb" side and no one was at the front desk to help check ppl in for like 30 mins. Meantime I was starving, I know I can't eat if I am in labor but I wasn't having heavy contractions just very light cramping and still flooding my pants. So they give me a pad to sit on not a sanitary napkin which was odd to me but OKAY. You want to look like a dog that's being potty trained in public no thank you!!! After a few moments I am like...MOM I am going downstairs to eat. Here starts the over reactions. She gets very angry with me and says "Why when you are going to be called back soon?" I am thinking YEAH RIGHT I am about to eat-holla-LOL. So I did just that. She calls on me via cellphone: "they said you aren't supposed to eat". I said well it's been a cute little hour since I have been here ain't NOBODY called me back so I must not be in that much labor. Then Shamarr calls and he starts on me too (well he had been calling me all day acting super crazy all moring). Telling me I need to go back up there and put the food down (ya dah ya dah). So I finish eating and Shamarr's sister calls (voice of reason). She agrees with me. Why are they taking so long to see me?? Finally I go back. And I start gushing again but interesting enough after a few cough tests, they can't detect any aminotic fluid. They did find vaginosis (or nitis--whatever they are both a pain) "GREAT" !!! My mom leaves me to hang out with her buddy (good riddens). And as soon as they discharge Shamarr's sister shows up! I started leaking again one I got home so I just went panty less. So now I am currently waiting very paitiently for my labor to start ---I wish my self luck with all these people.

MY BIRTH STORY!!!!!

UH!!! well Friday 12/14/07 I was sent home after I KNOW my water ruptured. I was irritated but I figured my labor would start on it's own so whateva to the hospital staff. That Saturday I woke up and did some "last minute" Christmas/Baby Shopping. I made it to Target, Babies R US, and then I finally made it to Walmart my last destination! I arrived at Walmart around 6:00pm 12/15/07 and as soon as I stepped foot out the car I knew my contractions had started. I went to the bathroom and there way my plug and bloody show. I thought I had time to shop for a few more things (WRONG). My contractions went from 0 to 60 in a matter of minutes. Now I am very hard headed about having my babies as natural as possible. So I choose not to rush off to the hospital. I called Shamarr and told him to drop whatever he was doing (he hadn't bought the car seat yet) and come get me to go to the hospital. He also decided it would be a great time to move (from an apt. to a house) which is really weird since he predicted the baby would come either Saturday or Sunday. I told everyone I would leave my house around 10:00pm. So I began to time my contractions as best I could. However, they were so hard and heavy and coming soooo freaking fast. Shamarr finally arrived at 10:00pm on the dot and he drove like a maniac to the hospital. Now for some odd reason I guess I didn't show my agony that well and they made me wait for like 30 mintues until Shamarr was like LOOK she's needs to get back there. When they finally got me in triage Shamarr's sister arrived. I just knew I was like 6cm but I was 4 cm (OMG ur kidding). They were still discussing my visit from yesterday saying that they couldn't find amniotic fluid. SO WHAT! I am here with contractions were's the pain medication. I get to my labor and delivery room, again they are taking forever to give me relief. I wanted dimeral but they gave me something that had no affect on me what so ever. So I literally felt every last contractions but was incredibly drowsy. By the time they administered this FAKE pain reliver I was 7 cm in a less than an hour! The nurse yelled she's going to shoot this baby out her contractions are really going fast. YEP they were but I wasn't thinned out so they made me lay on my right side then on my left and back on my right again. Well once I was on my right side I popped up with the most incredibly look on my face because not only did I want to die at that moment, I felt my baby's head coming out. I put my hand down there to stop him. By the time they turned me back over on my back his entire head came out on its own. Then the rest of his body came out. I didn't push not one time. It was so fast that Dr. Knightly was still putting on her gear. They didn't even have time to break the bed down. I just looked down and saw my son and he was crying without them suctioning him at all. My sister (who was the last person standing by default) joked that it took longer to deliver the placenta. Shamarr was just in shock because by the time he grabbed the camera he was already out, so in a way he missed the birth too!!! I didn't get to see my baby until 2am because the placenta had a bacteria infection from the my water breaking!!!! I was so hurt that my son had to get these painful antibiotic shots over and over again due to them not believing me. Atleast he's healthy and breastfeeding like a champ now! Cute as ever too. Looks waaaaaaaaay too much like his older brother did at birth. Shamarr seems so in love with his son, I think that has been the best part for me over all!
