ITS A HEALTHY BABY BOY!!!!

February 24, 2011- Exactly one year after the day I found out I miscarried my angel baby, I found out I am pregnant!!! I am hoping for a sticky, healthy little bean this time.

3.4.11- Saw gestational sac 5w1d

3.11.11- Saw heartbeat!!!! 122bpm

3.25.11- HB 163.

4.7.2011- HB 169, very active baby. I am measuring a week ahead.

5.25.11- Had amnio and all went well. We are having a baby boy. HB 145.

6.28.11- HB 135

A Child's Conversation with God

A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?" God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."

The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy." God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."

Again the child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?" God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."

"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?" God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."

"Who will protect me?" God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life."

"But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore." God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you."

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

God said, "You will simply call her, 'Mom'."

I love hearing that word, and I long to hear it from yet another sweet baby

OMG 11/16/08 7:15 am after 7 mos ttc!! Expecting baby #2!

2-9-09- ITS A BOY!!!!!

11.16.08- took 4 pregnancy tests, all positive. yay!

11.17.08- Called OB first appt is Dec 18th. Can't wait. I'll be 8 weeks. Snuck in a couple more pregnancy tests, all positive. Feeling tired, and yawning all the time, stuffed up. No other symtoms

11.18.08-Ok, I know it's crazy, but one more pregancy test this am: positive. Started telling a few people. Panicking about needing more room. We only have 2 bedrooms.

4 wks- no real symptoms yet, but my pants fit a bit more snuggly, and stuffed up. Have Doc appt Dec 18th.

5 wks- No symptoms, but the occasional headache

6- weeks- no symptoms

7- weeks- no symptoms

8 weeks 3d- HAd first Dr visit and ultrasound. I got to meet my little bean, and it is perfect! Thank you God! Heart beat was 175. My due date moved up one day, and that's what they will be going by.

12w2d- Had nuchal scan,. HB was 160. All looked good

13weeks- A friend did an u/s and it looks like a boy. HB = 160. Can't be too sure yet. I feel like it's a girl, though.

16weeks- It's a boy! HB 158. Genetic testing came back fine.Woohoo!

20wks- baby survery went well! HB was in the 140's.

24wks- Baby weighs 1.8 lbs! HB was 150.He has been very active.

28 weeks- HB 150

29 weeks- 3d ultrasound. Baby had 4 fingers in his mouth,HB 150.

32 weeks- HB 150- Had ultrasound bc baby was not moving. He was sleepy, but otherwise,in good health. Weight 4.4 lbs

36 wk. HB 150- Weight 5.15 lbs.

37 wk- Strep B negative. HB 150

4.07- Well, this is my first pregnancy. My husband and I are so excited, and we can't wait until our baby is born.

I just found out I'm pregnant. I'm soooo excited. My huband and I just started trying to have a family last month, so I can't believe how quickly it has all happened!

I had my first doctor's appt today. It was too early to hear the heartbeat. The doctor wants me to consider an amnio, becuase I'm in my late thrities, but I'm not so sure about that.

I had my ultrasound today and they pushed my due date back from Dec 18 to Dec 29. Oh well,.. it was so nice seeing my baby moving around, and watching it's heartbeat. It was the most amazing experience, and one I'm glad I go to share with my husband. I also had the AFP blood test. I won't know the results until the 2nd blood test is done on July 12th.

I had a doctor's appt this afteroon and got to hear my baby's heartbeat...156!!!

Well, I seem to have caught a cold, and now have a sinus infection. My Dr. put me on antibiotics. I got to hear the heartbeat again though, and it was 160! I go in for my second blood screen tomorrow.

I just got the results back from my AFP u/s and blood screen test, and the results were negative for downs, negative for neural problems, and negative for trisomy 18. The risk went down to 1 in 3400. We are very relieved!!!!

Heard the heartbeat at the visit today, it was 155. I have a detaield fetal survery set for August 9th , where they will check the baby to make sure all is developing as planned.

We had an ultrasound today and we found out we're having a girl! we go tto check out her heart, head, spine, fingers and toes, etc, to make sure all was ok. Thank God it was. She was so cute. She yawned at one point, and then started drinking amniotic fluid, and we watched it go down into her stomach. She also looked like she was trying to suck her thumb at one point. So, so cute! It was just a great day overall, and my husband and I are relieved that it went so well.

I had another u/s today because I hadn't felt my baby move in a few days and was worried. Thankfully, all was well, and we even got a picture of the baby giving the peace sign!

I had my fetal survey today, and all was fine. The baby had her legs over her head, so they had a hard time seeing her profile, but everything measured well. She's 12 oz. Her heartbeat was b/w 147 and 150.

My friend did another u/s for me and the baby looked so sweet. She weighs 1.7 lbs and her heartrate was 147. We could see her little nose and lips really well. We are thinking of doing a 3D to get a better look at her.

9.13.07-

Emma now weighs 1.11 lbs. All was fine at my doctor's visit. I do my glocose test on Oct 4th. I'm a bit nervous because they found a trace of sugar in my urine this past time. They said not to worry, and to just drink more water.

I had a bit of a scare last night and today. I hadn't felt Emma move. I had a bio physical u/s and an non-stress test today and the results were great. Emma weighs 3.4 pounds and is in the 66%. She scored an 8/8 on her bio physical test and was deemed an "overachiever" on the non stress. Also, her kidneys are going back to their normal size. Yaaay! I'm so relieved. Oh, and she is now head down! I'm waiting to hear back the results of my three hour glucose test. I failed the 1 hour by 1 point!

Yeah!!!! I found out I passed my 3 hr. glucose test! I'm so relieved.

11.1.07-

My doc put me on limited bed rest today due to my feeling lightheaded and having passed out at work two weeks ago. My baby is measuring 3 weeks ahead at 35 weeks and weighs 4.8 lbs .

11.30-07

I had my internal and B strep test today. I have nto started diolating, and my cervix has not softened. So, no baby for me anytime soon. My doctor told me that in order for him to induce me, both those things have to happen.

12.6.07-

Went to the doc and still no dilation, and the baby has not dropped. We might have to start thinking about a c-section. The baby's heartrate was in the 130s. On mon I had a NST, and the doc said the baby sounds really good. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all the menstrual-like cramps mean i'm going to dilate.
