Hi there, i just click on refresh quickly when i get the time.... yeah im giving Emogene solids and have been from she was just over 4 months.... she has always been a hungry baby. I phoned the doctors and made an appointment - its next thursday at half four... shes 6 months tomorrow - hard to believe. Take care x

Hi hows everything going??? I am pretty good..over the m/s I think (16.5 weeks)!! but now dealing with heartburn!!! got some homeopathic cell salts..they are OK..got any natural remedies???
well today I taught a bellydance for pregnancy class and it was great..so good for me to do whilst pregnant again......hope all is going well for you...xx

Thank you so much for your advice... i have Emogene in her cot at the minute - she was screaming with tiredness and it took almost an hour to get her over.... i lay on the bed beside her cot and kept encouraging her to take the dummy.... needless to say she hates taking it and once so kept pulling it out of her mouth - she eventually took it. Now that shes sleeping she spat it out.... how long should it take to establish this routine with her is it gonna take an hour to get her over for weeks or months? hows everything going with this pregnancy? im so sorry i didnt ask that wrapped up in my own family life. take care x

That FSH test sounds great Lisa! I'll have to ask them about that at the hospital. Your reassurance about the amnio has made me feel much better! Thank you!
My dr said I didn't need to even worry about getting the nuchal translucency scan because I was so young, but I just wanted to see the baby - i just wanted to know it was real! I found that out alright. It's definately real.
It is a little bit harder to get excited about the pregnancy at the moment. The thought of giving birth to the baby with DS scares me so much...
We are in the same boat there. We've decided we will terminate if the test comes back positive for DS. It's the hardest thing to decide, but this is our 1st baby and we are young, and having a child with DS is a life long commitment. Of course any child is a life long commitment, but it would just make it SO much harder on everyone.
I just don't even want to think about the consequences at the moment.
In a way i'm looking forward to the amnio because I just want to know for sure.
It's COLD here today! I bet it's freezing down in Melb! It's supposed to be the coldest April day recorded!

Once i get Emogene down at night she isnt too bad through the night i encourage her to take the dummy... for her to sleep through the day is a nightmare... i have tried rocking her to sleep, turning on loud music but she just screams if i try to stroke her face she would push my hand away all she wants is the breast but the worst thing about that is that im trying to cut down on feeds - from she was a couple of weeks old she would have fed every half an hour then it went to hourly now it would be every couple of hours.... i could feed her lunch and within half an hour she would want the breast - i wouldnt mind but i wont feed her out in public... if i got 3 hours then four hours etc... we are up from 8am this morning and shes been on me already 5 times.... why??????? x

Thanks for the comments.... i have just got her over to sleep in my arms.... i had to put her to the breast... wow - when i have a 2nd baby i will do things so much different - with your first its a real learning curve. tanks again x

Thanks for your good wishes. My fingers are crossed that they will tell me eveything is good. It is definately a nerve racking time....Congrats on having a boy. I have a feeling that is what im having but people tell me you can't go by what you feel. I really don't care what the sex is as long as the baby is healthy. How are you feeling these days????

Yeah, i tried to do it. When i was on the doppler website, or anything similar.. they dont ship to alaska (which is where my husband and i are, he is stationed here) and the other places dont ship to a military base
