Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

I went to a basketball game last night and I was on my feet and all i felt was pressure down there right on the swollen area. If im on my feet or get up from sitting for so long i feel like my vagina is gonna fall off!! lol I tried essential oils but i haven't tried vaseline at all. The turn on is cool its just the pain.

No problem...The mouth pain is the worst. I felt guilty but I think the stress of being in pain was a lot worse on the baby. I hope you feel better soon.

You might have pregnancy induced gingivitis. I got it during my last pregnancy and It really hurt. I did use ambesol and orajel. My Dr. said it was fine. They didn't really work too much for me. I found that biting down on a cold wet wash cloth helped relieve a lot of the pain (I did that before I went to bed because it seem a whole lot worse at bed time.

Hello, try taking a little extra Vit C every day. Its good for gums and healing etc...the body does not store it. It might help. xx

Hey there, Dont worry about your baby if you cant eat much because they take everything they need from us and we get the scraps!! There is an old saying in Australia that says if you have bad morning sickness and cant eat to much dont worry the baby will just eat your butt! LOL!! wish it would eat mine!!!
If you think you need some extra help getting the vitamins you need talk to your doctor about a suppliment!!! Goodluck!!!

As the for the hair question--I have been coloring my hair and am more worried about the fumes than anything else (I even wore a mask once). I read in several places that they don't think much/any of the solution gets absorbed into your body--just into the hair, so my guess is that you are fine. I have also read that your hair can 'take' things differently when you are pregnant, so it might not turn out the way you wanted! Good luck!

hey! :) Just letting you know I worked with perms and all that for about 2 years and talked to a bunch of cosmetologist friends you are perfectly fine as long as you were in a bigger room that had some kind of ventalation and you weren't sitting there breathing in the fumes full force hehe. Other than that you will be perfectly fine. Like the other lady said the hormones might make your hair take diffrent but thats about it! If you see a stylist make sure you tell her that your pregnant before she does any treatments. They always like to know these things! good luck to you :)

No need to be worried about having your hair done. It's been approved by the Board of Obstreticians. I've read multiple books stating that it's okay for the baby -- the problem is that your hormones might fluxuate, and your hair might not process correctly... Tootles.
