singinghide - Monday, 21 July
They say the plug looks very similar to rubber cement. Like a big thick glob. It can be tinted with color, or just clear.

Mommad - Monday, 21 July
sounds like your plug to me. Looks like snot.

Hawkbury - Sunday, 20 July
OH MY GOSH YOU LOOK GREAT! NOW I'M EXCITED TO START SHOWING!

Hawkbury - Sunday, 20 July
I LOVE YOU LADY!!!

skyeandlee - Saturday, 19 July
Hey even little contractions are goooooood! With every contraction it's helping to dialate your cervix and get yout uterus ready. Good luck!!

Mommad - Friday, 18 July
5 min apart

aug-babies - Friday, 18 July
My Dr said to call once they are 5-10 min apart for atleast 2 hours. I am already having real contractions but not close enough or in a reg pattern. I thought that yesterday at the Dr office they would give me more hope - still no dialation or effacement ) : just some softening. They told me tylenol and heating pad on the back.

Hmmmmm will try ice cream any excuse right

MelisaK - Thursday, 10 July
Have you felt any movements? If it has decreased quite a bit from what you are used to then definately call your dr. It is ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry.

MommyWonder - Wednesday, 9 July
I dropped at about 35 weeks. My doctor told me that it's normal for first time mothers and it's part of the "pre-labor" symptoms. It doesn't mean the baby will show up any day though.

MommyWonder - Sunday, 6 July
We're in the same boat. I was feeling that way a lot last week. If it weren't for my BF helping me out, I'd be even more stressed out. Once you get the room and your bag all set, you will feel so much better so keep on cleanin' sister!

Thanks for your message... The pain has sub-sided a bit now after some yoga stretching and lots of resting! its really helped..

Hi, Yeah coffee is fine. You can have upto 3 cups of coffee a day or 6 cups of tea. I have a coffee every now and then, not every day though. x

mommyagain9th - Wednesday, 18 June
I still have a cup of coffee almost every day. There's caffeine in so many things: pop, chocolate, etc. 1 cup of coffee won't hurt you.

MelisaK - Wednesday, 18 June
Yes! I actually went to the dr. yesterday b/c I have felt so sick. She thought it might be a stomach bug but I think my ms is back. And I do have some caffeine...not every day but pretty regularly. Sometimes I will have 2 cups...then I feel bad. But I know one cup of soda or coffee is fine.

momof2oneonway! - Monday, 16 June
yes everyone has a mucus plug, but really I already have two children and I don't remember losing mine with either of them. They say you'll know when you lose it becasue it looks like a big snot. Good luck and like I said I don't remember losing mine twice so I think it may happen when your in labor too, but I am not a doctor so I am not too sure. But YES we all have one.

MelisaK - Friday, 13 June
I can't go into labor...I have to have a c-section and with this being my 3rd I am very nervous. I live an hour away from my hospital. I chose that hospital because all of my family and my husbands live there and it is the OB/GYN I have had for years. I am scared half to death that she will come too fast and I won't make it.

MelisaK - Thursday, 12 June
You can work until the dr. tells you it is time not to. I was taken off work with all of mine. I had an appt. the other day and if I had a job they would have taken me off. Don't worry about going into labor at work...it might add some excitement to someones day!
