Monday, 7 July Do you know if the claim was submitted on the date of service? If there was not a claim submitted then the hospital must do their part to insure it was submitted. Let me know what happens. I will be glad to help you if I can. I have BCBS also. sharra -
Monday, 7 July If you were covered on that date of service and the hosiptal did not submit your insrance the claim within the time limits (6 months to 3 years depending on the plan)to the insuance co, then the hospital should adjust the amount that is owed. It is the hospitals responsibility to submit it on your behalf. If they did not get the correct info from you, you can appeal with the insurance comapny also. If you were covered on that date, by law you have coverege. It depends on the hospital and the communication with the insurance co. I would have a rep at the insurance co speak on the phone with the hospital billing department and get the process going. You can even get a three way call with the three of you- I have done this many of times and it seems to be the best in dealing with all parties. You need to be stern with both the ins co and hospital. Get names of who you speak to and take notes on all calls. Make sure you tell the ins co the correct date of service- so the date you were in the hospital in 2005. What insurance co do you have? Let me know if you think you can do that. Some ins co are better than others in communicating. sharra -
Sunday, 6 July No problem- I would understand. I use to deal with insurance companies and doctors office on billing issues and both have their faults. I hope you have a healthy pregnancy. I am ready to speed time up since I am getting into the uncomfertable stage. Take care. sarah05 -
Saturday, 5 July many thanks, xx barbarac -
Saturday, 5 July Well, the pregnancy is going along good, aside from the normal things like these stupid cramps in my left calf that I cant stand and heartburn. Aside from a few anoying things its good. I have to do that sugar test next week, have you done that yet? With drinking some strange soda?
My family is still so stupid. I never really hear from them unless there is a fight and one wants me to know their side. I wouldn't even really call us all a fmaily most days. Right now I'm dealing with this neice of mine that is 21. My husband and I have an apartment attached to our house that we always just used as storage, we never wanted to be landlords. She got kicked out of her mothers house and her mother (my sister) came to me and bagged me to let her move in there. She has been nothing but trouble since and now decided to move out on me about 3 weeks before I go on maternity leave, the one time I could use her rent. People don't care. Hey, soory for venting like crazy st you. have a day, thanks. danahlovesdoug -
Saturday, 5 July Hey yeah no problem. I went to www.bradleybirth.com and theres a "find a teacher" link there. It finds one closest to you. Good Luck. I think the class is soooo awsome. Already my man is more aprechiative of what Im going through for us. If you can't find a class I recommend Dr. Bradleys books. There's a couple of them the best one is called "Husband Coached Childbirth" (the 5th edition)

Wednesday, 2 July HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You are NOT alone. :) I read your post and had a little chuckle to myself but made sure I didn't laugh too hard because I've got the pee syndrome too. LOL. One day, I was sitting on our microfiber couch wearing a sun dress and panties. I felt a sneeze coming on. No big deal. Directly after the sneeze I thought OOOPS, better casually hit the bathroom so as not to stir any suspicions. I few seconds later, my husband was at the door asking, "did you just pee your pants?" and I said, "How did you know? all embarrassed... he said, "You left a little piddle stain on the couch." Perrrrrrfect. hahaha. Now, he tries to make me do it, he thinks it's hilarious. I'm just glad our couch has been treated for stains. *grin* arts -
Wednesday, 2 July Hi Rotibaby - the pee thing has been happening to me too - it's apprently common as our uterus is hitting against our bladder so because of the pressure, the wee sometimes just gushes out! I experienced it a few days ago - my husband and I went on holiday, we took a long walk on the beach. I had no urge to wee, but as soon as we got off the sand and as i was rinsing my feet under water, i just peed in my shorts. it came out uncontrollably. i was obviously embarassed but my husband was like,, don't worry, it's common. i just hope it doesn't happen in public! Wednesday, 2 July Dont worry, haha, I was at the mall the other day with my hubby and we had to go home because I sneezed and peed on myself haha! I looked at my husband after I sneezed and said "I just peed a little" with a sad face, he laughed sooo hard! lol you just gotta laugh when that stuff happens! lol

Tuesday, 1 July No. They haven't tried to work things out before. He was just trying to avoid court and work out a peaceful resolution for all involved, but now he wants to just go to court. However, it occurred to me that the reason my in-laws gave us the money is that we had been waiting for our tax refund so that we could proceed, and we haven't gotten it. Time is short for us to file an answer, counterclaim, and motion to dismiss. My in-laws wanted to give us the money so that we could go ahead and get the ball rolling, and we could give them our tax refund when we get it. I wasn't mad anymore when this occurred to me, but I was still disappointed that dh wasn't at least going to try to work something out without us going to court. However, I understand how he feels. At first, he was going to offer to let her have the kids based on two contingencies, but he really doesn't want his children to live with her, and that is what changed his mind. Oh well. Take care.
