Tuesday, 6 May Hey Roxy- I have a big boy too. He was 7lbs 8oz at birth at by his 4 mo. he was 19.4. The doc said "someone has been eating too much" and I freaked out and she said "I am only kidding, he is right on track, just a big boy" He is 97percentile for height and weight, some kiddos are just big. Have you started solids yet? raeross76 -

Monday, 24 Mar Hi - sorry, I didn't mean to scare anyone w/ my question about the sids/vaccine thing. I was just currious, that's why I asked. I'm opposed to vaccines and chose for them not to be administered to my son. I've done a lot of research on it and have found that they contain mercury which can cause autism. As far as I know the shot's haven't been linked to sids, but I was currious, because they do a really good job of covering up the whole mercury/autism thing too. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about, and I'm sorry to have scared you. Julia R -
Saturday, 8 Mar Thanks for the feedback roxy--I will look into it. I don't know if my pediatrician uses needles or the piercing gun, but i will check it out. cko1522 -

Monday, 25 Feb I do remember you. I was a latecomer to the pregnancy site, but I quickly became addicted--especially during the time I couldn't work any longer and there wasn't much to do around the house by myself just waiting for labor to begin. I found lots of company in the ladies here and I'm enjoying the journey with everyone and their new babies. It's been really neat to bounce questions and ideas off each other or vent about a problem only to realize there are sooo many with the same issues--in so discovering that we are not alone in our struggles. Welcome back-I look forward to your chat again! bmcneil1211 -

Monday, 25 Feb I am so sorry tou are dealing with a crying baby...plus your other kids! My daughter was very colicky and it took sooooo much out of me. It was awful. My son was 4 at the time so atleast he could do a lot for himself when i needed him too...but it was hard on him also. Sometimes he would say does she ever stop crying mommy??? It was bad. But one day it was all over and she was happy as could be. I am now having my 3rd child on thursday (induced) and hoping she is not colicky! My son is 5 and my daughter just turned 1 on Jan. 29th so the last thing i need is a crying baby! I am sure you have tried everything but when my daughter would start up really bad i would sit in the bathroom with the bath or shower water running and something about the sound would calm her down for sometime....just a thought... micki -
Monday, 25 Feb Thank you for the cradle cap info. Ill try it. It doesnt seem to bother her...its just so gross to look at, it would be nice to get rid of it once and for all. Thanks again! startingoverat37 -
Sunday, 24 Feb I know its tough right now. You will get through this in time. There really is not a be solution to make things magically easier. The thing I did with my oldest when I had 2 little ones was put her in preschool. It gave me a little break a few times a week. I had 3 (2 of which were and still are very high maintence children- special needs)and that was tough! Good luck. Don't forget to breathe and get a break...even if you have to put everyone in there cribs and walk outside to collect yourself. Take a walk when hubby comes home. Colicky babies can just drive a person insane.
Don't forget to pray. God can help you if you ask.
Good luck! onmywayto3 -
Sunday, 24 Feb I know colic sucks!!!! I remember when my daughter had it ( nearly 11 years ago ) and when my son was born ( almost 8 years ago ) I thought there was something wrong with him, because he didn't cry and scream all day....Stick with it, I hope he gets over his tummy troubles soon! Do you breastfeed or bottlefeed? There are so many different formulas out there now...such as Similac Sensitive...it's supposed to help with gas and fussiness...Also, Similac Alimentum...it says it starts to reduce colic symptoms within 24 hours....not sure how they work but worth asking your pediatrician about...I know it's hard! Good Luck!!! 2boys -
Wednesday, 30 Jan hi your kids are so cute, if you dont mind me asking why did you have to have another c section? i hade my son c section and im trying to figure out if i would have to have one with the next or not. heatherl -
Sunday, 30 Dec I know I dont want to get into the habit of having him sleep with me but when I am this tired I just dont have a choice, I tried giving a little formula mixed with breast milk at night and I think I made him worse- he was so fussy and was wide awake for like 2 hours. I think it was a mistake to give him the formula but I was feeling pretty desperate to get some sleep. be well. Leave a message for roxy3280 in the right column where it reads `Add comment`
