Hello there... I am new to this. My husband and I got married in March of '07. 3yrs ago, before we even met, he had a vasectomy. This last summer we decided to have a vas reversal. Boy was that difficult. His surgery was Aug. 13, 2007, in Oct. they told us there was no sperm found to check again in 30 days. On Nov 7, 2007 we went into the Dr. not being very optimistic, he comes back in with a huge smile and says they found sperm. There was a low count but they were mobile. VERY VERY good news. So here we are trying and leaving it in God's hands. I thouroughly believe if it's meant to be it will be. After everything he went through with the surgery, I sure hope it happens. Here we go....DH resuts....well, the count went up to 11mil...they would like it to be about 30mil....the motility was at 20%....SO it wasn't great news but it was still positive news. It only takes ONE!!!! We have been BD like crazy and my temps went up a bit today...98.0 Send me the Baby DUST!!!!

Well, i just finally got back from the Dr. and got pretty good news. Even though I ovulated he is starting me on Clomid 50mg. Of course i missed it by one CD this month so we are on our own for this month and I will start it next cycle on Day 3-7 then I will start a OPK (he suggested Clear Easy or Clear Plan, found at Target) and when I get the surge he is going to do Artificial Insemination...which I just found out my insurance doesn't cover. BUMMER!!! I did find out though that to pay full price it is $300. That's not to bad. However, he said he will not even consider doing the procedure unless I cut our 100% of caffeine. It interferes with the meds and the insemination. Just a note for you girls. 7 dpo on clomid they are going to do a progesterone test on me to make sure 50mg is enough. Only time will tell. So here is to another step to get our baby bump.

Oh and he wasn't concerned about my luteal phase only being 11 days. He said if it was 10 or less then there would be concern. Thank GOD!!!

OK LADIES!!!!! I'm on CLOMID starting today. AF came on the 22. I did not O last month according to Fertilityfriend. But, my cycle was only 30 days so it's getting closer to the ideal 28 days....lol. We will see how it goes...wish me luck! *hugs*

Well getting ready to O... I made it through my first round of Clomid and now on CD 12...Started OPK's today no positive yet. Hope this is THE month...Babydust!!!!

Well, I had blood work done on April 11, 7dpo for progesterone levels. They came back normal at 15...good news. However, my OB/GYN said he didn't think that after my next 2 cycles of Clomid he would continue treating me. He will refer me to a IVF specialist. He doesn't think that we will be able to get preggers on our own. He isn't going to "Waste your money" on doing IUI because he doesn't think it will work. He doesn't think with the really low sperm count, after it's cleaned up ,that there would be enough viable sperm to do the IUI. He's only leaving me on the 50mg Clomid for 2 months to regulate my periods until we go see the IVF specialist. We won't do IVF because, we don't want to do anything that invasive. We agreed after the Vas reversal that the furthest we would go is IUI. That and our ins doesn't cover it....I don't think we could afford it. So wish me luck in the next 2 months!! Well girls, i am steping out of the ttc role. my DH got some bad news at the d's yesterday. He is a type 2 diabetic and is required to take insulin. So we are going to take a break and deal with what is in front of us right now. I will miss you alla and please keep me posted as I will still lurk...Babydust!!!
