I get mine done at the Dr's office.
Any clue what you might be having (gut instincts)
Hope you are feeling well.
At least at 20 weeks they should def be able to tell the sex.

I tried to find places too b/c my insurance doesn't cover a routine ultrasound. Luckily, I was measuring large for my dates, so my doctor ordered an U/s for me...so it was then medically necessary, therefore insurance covered it. Nobody would see me unless my doctor had already conducted an U/S. I think they want you to know if there are any problems Ahead of time, that way it doesn't come as a shock when you go to just find out the gender. Either that, or maybe they're not as skilled as the sonographers at the doctor's /hospitals. either way, good luck!

hello i was reading your comment from week 19 about the pain an tightening of the belly an that is what i was getting all day long for about a week or more i think well i went to the er cause it just got really bad an was very uncomfortable well they told me they where braxton hicks but to tell the Dr. to keep a eye on it cause if it get to bad it can cause me to dilate well with my history that was what they where worry about not saying you will have the same thing cause not sure if you have history of preterm labor or any thing but they just said to take it easy an drink lots of fluids an try an stay out of the heat. so i would just tell the Dr. about that pain cause it sounds like what i was going threw. i think you said it was your first time you felt that right?
