Hmm, well I became an aunt again to a beutiful baby boy Parker 7 pounds 11 ounces on Monday. The very same day I found out my hcg levels dropped to 3-I am no longer pregnant. We dont know why. This is the same thing that happened in January. My husband and I decided imediatley that it was in OUR best interest to stop ttc on our own. It is truly difficult to want to conceive to yet have protected sex..................my body cannot sustain pregnancys and it is unfair to us to continue to do so until we get some answers. My husband is a retired hockey player-meaning-someone who has been very successful at all life has to offer and has the luxury to buy pretty much whatever we want, EXCEPT the thing in life we want the most-children, and lots of them. This has luckily given us the opportunity to "fast track" the medical field and get imediate access to high quality doctors. Our first appt with our fertility specialist was this morning, we had our blood drawn for numerous amounts of tests that we will get our answers for on May 13th. We have decided to go through with IVF imediatley and will be given further information on that at our appointment. We are very excited yet open minded that this route may not work either, BUT that it does garner us yet another opprtunity/avenue to explore . We are taking the right steps and are in the deepest of dear hopes that this will work for us. Until then, we are spending our days enjoying our family and all of the blessed luxurys we are lucky to have(like a new nephew). Thank you for your messages and my thoughts are always of you, as I do sneak on here from time to time, to check on a few friends, I need to stay away from all that is "baby" at the moment and unfortunatley this site is included.
